Verizon is the #1 telecommunications company in the world, not AT&T. Verizon is much more profitable and has been for many years. Verizon also has the longest streak in the telco industry of increasing it's dividend. 17 years and counting. In comparison, AT&T cut their dividend just a few years ago.

They need to raise rates. We have been running on cheap money for far to long. It's gonna be short term pain for the unprepared but will be good long term. Me personally I think they need to hike it to 15 percent, so I can get more of a return on my capital. If rates go down people start getting cheap loans again and it will just start inflation cycle to go up more.
Thats the way to think, i did that back in 2008 to 2011. Had to help family, so now i rebuilding.
