+Sandra Falase Causally waiting? are you? get fucked. You know what was good about the 90s? people didn't start sentences with "casually waiting". Fuck you.
If you like the 90's come to the Balkans. Here most of the radio stations still play the 90's hits, most of the people are wearing 90's clothes, driving 90's the cars, and the background is dystopian enough for people that miss the good old times. Finally, the people are still good, humble(poor) and kind... :)
+Dasha Jean Remember If you don't remember you did not have a childhood, you retroactively did not exist. It was a good show! The 90s are over, all that's left is despair.
I'm 4 months younger than Rashida. Turned 14 in 1990 and that was the year I actually fell in love with hop hop and R&B. I've always loved Rashida (she's so smart and cool) but this video has made me fall in love with her. lol!
I've watched this video wayyy too many times over the past three days. Amazing job, Boss Selection and Rashida! So catchy and it looks like it was a blast to film. I've been home with the flu so thanks for this video; it brought me some sunshine.
+Marshal Knight The women dancing are her old high school dance team -- it really is a flip and rewind video! Karen Richardson, the African American woman on the right with the long hair is a lawyer now, who works for the State Department after spending years working for Barack Obama when he was in the Senate and the White House. She's a descendant of Thomas Jefferson and Pocahontas and a distant cousin of the Queen of England.
I love this. Seems more like a genuine homage to the 90`s than doing it just for jokes, which I hope was the intent. As someone who grew up in the 90`s and has still not really let that period go in my heart this video and song are pitch perfect.
I loved that!! I know I am late. But I loved it!!! And I think All of Quincy Jones' daughters are gorgeous!!! I was a HUGE fan of her sister's best friend!! And now I am a fan of both of you girls Kidada and Rashida!!!!
This song sounds great. It runs circles around the crap that is on the radio today. In fact, songs like this come back, I may start listening to the radio again.
Just imagining April casually stumbling across this treasure on RUclips and the Parks and Rec department's reaction to seeing this video... *sigh* What a great show...
You should direct them to her interview on the tonight show (or was it late night) when she mentioned being friends as a kid w/ Michael Jackson & playing pranks while Jackson would take breaks recording with Quincy.
Her parents Quincy and Peggy must be so proud. I hate I didn't meet her when her brother produced a song for me (with Da Lench Mob). I also love the fact that her 'office' in this is a movie trailer.
love the video, love the song, & def love Rashida...my 9 yr old nephew, Zeeky gotta huge time crush on her. God bless y'all i hope to hear more from her & Sunny Levine...dope _ss production, really brought it back for me....gotta put this joint on my early morning daily playlist...Peace.
For me there is two 90s, early and 94 onwards. In the early 90s sports fashion was king. Jordan shoes and Pumps, bright colours, slick hair, upbeat music. Then 94 came and the grunge scene took over. People became daggy. Goths emerged. The lo-tech internet and Windows 95 happened. So up to 94 it was a pretty happening decade
Casually waiting to see Leslie waving in the background saying thats my best friend.
+Sandra Falase Causally waiting? are you? get fucked. You know what was good about the 90s? people didn't start sentences with "casually waiting". Fuck you.

You would think the Balkans would not want to relive the 90's lol
They couldn't relive the 90's, as they are still living in the 90's...do you get the tragic note? :)
+Chris B Kirov well to be fair, it would have been difficult to live the 90s during the actual 90s in the Balkans.
It wasn't significantly different from now. :)
Chris B Kirov
are you suggesting there is still war in the Balkans?
How is this song not a hit? I find this song soooo relaxing idk why. Very chill. Love rashida jones
Oh Ann you beautiful chestnut flawed girl
Totally messed that up
+Ana Pavić yah that's one of the only one I remember
+Ana Pavić That's my favorite one.

+SquidBuckets I said the exact same thing lol. I was imagining myself in it.

this is god-tier celeb pop. right up there with eddy murphy's "party all the time."
Wow a comment of yours where no one knows who you are.. Rare Fantano ... RARE
Notice me Senthony Paitano
+Marcelo Riley Yeah I think he was being sarcastic too. Because Eddie Murphys party all the time was considered by most to be horrible.
+theneedledrop Ann(Perkins)thony Can(sing)tano!
But rashida jones fantano. Rashida fucking Jones.
Oh, Ann. You beautiful, naive, sophisticated newborn baby
Jákói Zsófia 😂😂😂👏🏽
The 90's was a great era.. I feel sorry for kids today that will never have experience 90's fun, tv, clothes music as it happened...

+Dasha Jean Remember If you don't remember you did not have a childhood, you retroactively did not exist.
It was a good show!
The 90s are over, all that's left is despair.
The simple times
+Dasha Jean Yes it was I had the most fun in the 90s.
Dasha Jean
The lack of comments to do with TLC is making me cry.
TLC FOREVER
I LOVE IT!!!!! I didn't know Rashida could sing. She's an awesome actress! It's great to see her expanding her horizons! Her dad's a LEGEND!!!
Ugh, her sister Kidada is a forever mood
I'm 4 months younger than Rashida. Turned 14 in 1990 and that was the year I actually fell in love with hop hop and R&B. I've always loved Rashida (she's so smart and cool) but this video has made me fall in love with her. lol!

I'd buy a whole album of this, on tape.
I don't know if this is suppose to be a joke or not but regardless I love this
+Nicolechezzz I can't figure it out either
+Nicolechezzz I read that they wanted to evoke the feelings of the 90s without mocking it.
+S King Well they nailed it. It's a legitemitally great song
It's supposed to be a tribute. And it's a wildly successful one.
So good! I miss the 90's so much! This song is better than all that pop on the radio now.
"Oh, ann, you noble and poetic land mermaid."
I LOVE RASHIDA JONES! :D
rashida jones + 90s throwback= the greatest thing created
Oh, Ann. You are a beautiful, talented, brilliant, powerful musk ox. Thank you, ox
Rashida's voice is beautiful..diggin' the song and vibe, too!
I love this song she need to make an album with a 90s sound like this
That backpack purse tho! Those were the days. The world was so much simpler.
ladydestiny2006 so true, it makes me wanna cry!!
Rashida Jones is a national treasure!
I've watched this video wayyy too many times over the past three days. Amazing job, Boss Selection and Rashida! So catchy and it looks like it was a blast to film. I've been home with the flu so thanks for this video; it brought me some sunshine.
That dance paired with this song is everything I've ever wanted and more.
+Marshal Knight The women dancing are her old high school dance team -- it really is a flip and rewind video! This song sounds great. It runs circles around the crap that is on the radio today. In fact, songs like this come back, I may start listening to the radio again.
Loved this! The nostalgia is real right now.
Just imagining April casually stumbling across this treasure on RUclips and the Parks and Rec department's reaction to seeing this video... *sigh* What a great show...
It's like all of a sudden I'm living through 1993 again.
I love it.
The #Blackgirlmagic in the video is real! 😍
People never believe me when I tell them she is Quincy Jones' daughter.
+Mark Perry Why not?
You should direct them to her interview on the tonight show (or was it late night) when she mentioned being friends as a kid w/ Michael Jackson & playing pranks while Jackson would take breaks recording with Quincy.
Same. But the people I'm referring to aren't black. Anyone who is of a certain age knows of Quincy and his chirren :)
stop telling people that don't have access to the internet in the palm of their hand
I believe it after hearing this
Came here for jokes and Rashida Jones... next minute this song's been on repeat for the 90th time
This is feel good music. Love it!!
A song and a smile from someone I cared about could be enough to distract me from all that darkness, if only for a little while.”
Love it, love it, love it!
WOW...PEGGY AND QUINCY'S DAUGHTER...GORGEOUS......
Cam D. and so is their other daughter Kidada, she has been my girl crush since the mid 90s.
Covered: Early 90's, mid 90's, late 90's and all in between. I love this woman, beautiful, smart, talented and funny!
I see u Rashida and Kidada Jones sisters are jammin!
She's moving the cursor without moving a finger... She has the force
The fact that this still doesn't have over 1m views is a tragedy.
Damn its like watching the environment around me when I was growing up from early 90s till now.
Awesome video & song! '90s 4eva
I love love love ... FOREVER A 90'S GIRL!
Ahh. Ms. Jones. You made time travel possible.
Her parents Quincy and Peggy must be so proud. I hate I didn't meet her when her brother produced a song for me (with Da Lench Mob).
I also love the fact that her 'office' in this is a movie trailer.
Me and a friend from work were just reminiscing about the 90's I feel you rashida
I just love this song and video. I love seeing my Tevin in the video
She's so adorable:)
She's beautiful and looks just like her Mama!
Rashida Jones brought back the 90s vibe.
I always giggle inside at the fact that most people don't realize how much Hollywood Royalty she really is.
Ok yes, I need this
👍🏾 👏🏾 nice groove Rashida, regardless of intent. Kidada, damn girl!...still. to quote Rev. Brown, ..”there’s a god somewhere!”.
omg the TLC flashbacks!
love the video, love the song, & def love Rashida...my 9 yr old nephew, Zeeky gotta huge time crush on her. God bless y'all i hope to hear more from her & Sunny Levine...dope _ss production, really brought it back for me....gotta put this joint on my early morning daily playlist...Peace.
I'll have this on repeat until 2090
Ayeeee!!!!
I've adored this woman since Boston Public. It's nice to see another dimension--although it's not surprising, knowing who her pops is.
I am LIVING for this wardrobe!
Very cool! Great nostalgic type video too!!!!!

Didn't know I could fall in love with Ann Perkins again than she dropped this track and put the bandana on 😊
This is the jam now, Def nostalgic. That Ben Baller cameo tho and Tevin Campbell
we've come to far to go back. but if time travel is ever possible, I know I am going for a visit.
I grew up hearing adults 80s nostalgia just for finding adults of my generation having an even bigger 90s nostalgia.
