Got my p1 the other day and been riding it around I was not to impressed with the acceleration but was really impressed that the scooter just keeps going faster and faster then I found the launch mode didn’t think to crazy about it prepared myself but wasn’t expecting much but holy shit I felt like I was going to Mars 🤣🤣 got to 20mph in only like 3 seconds almost had a heart attack for sure the best scooter I’ve ever had (and I’ve got 5) going to be getting a FF 2.0 to add to thee collection to the p1 ticks all the boxes it’s like a really nice luxury car and the ff 2.0 ticks all the boxes and more!! Solar are the Tesla’s of scooters love you guys and WILL be getting more from you ⚡️⚡️ these are far better than them crappy Chinese scooters can’t get over how frilled I am

Little bit of a mismatch putting a single 800w motor on the mantis against a twin 1200 motor on the P1 for speed comparison but agree on the other items though :)
@@SolarScootersuk Yup and i totally agree on your other points.. the only mantis i would ever consider is what High Waltage did on his youtube channel with the mantis pro he modded out to 45mph.. that thing took off like a scalded cat! 75v.. with the booster battery he added and modded the controllers from 27 to 32A!

Hey Kian! The scooter can handle 45 degree slopes and has a max weight limit of 150KG. Because the P1 has Dual motor AWD it has no trouble handling even the most challenging hills. Hope that helps!
Backhandlawz Both are great scooters each with unique features! Suspension on the P1 is more tuned for high speed and off roading, Mantis is more cushiony for comfort. Hope that helps?

Hi there thinking of buying one of these but reading the comments on a channel called. electric scooter academy. he says these are a typical generic Chinese scooter you get on AliExpress or Alibaba with not great batteries and cheap components is this true because I would like one that lasts for years going to and from work I really had my heart on one of these they certainly look the part and I like the speed and the way u say it climbs hills kind regards.
You’ll find that all escooters do come from China, but they’re not all necessarily from AliExpress or Alibaba. The batteries used in our scooters are of the highest possible standard available and have certification of approval on each one. Like with anything, as long as something is looked after it will last for years. For peace of mind our scooters have a 2 year UK warranty and we source all spare parts needed, 2-4 day delivery. We kept this video 100% fair. What you see is what you get - At the time of filming these scooters were the same price (Kaabo was actually a little more) The P1 went faster, had more acceleration, etc the Kaabo had some pro’s as well. Since this video we have brought out an upgraded 2022 edition P1 2.0 as have Kaabo. So I don’t see an issue here

I would have got a p1 but the front suspension spoils the whole look of the scooter so l opted for the FF light and she is solid.
unfair head to head! the mantis has one 800w motor vs two 1200w moto. for the value the solar win for sure.

My left handlebar where you pull out the part to fold it is incredibly stiff, gonna try and fix it with some wd40 might help

Hi, out of curiosity what is the max range of the p1 in gear 3? (no one wants to ride it in gear 1 to get 30 miles lol)
Around 30 miles :) that number is based on speed mode 2 with dual motor on. So you can expect around 25 - 30 miles on mode 3
