I remember when you first viewed the Cosmos EP 900 my wife and i drove all the way to Virginia to meet Johnny and to pick up two subs he also gave me a demo in the Audi car and man it was loud😂
Those are superb sound quality drivers but the motor force alone doesn't compare to the 8s MB gives 👍🏾 to. I've have quite a few DA drivers and they do sound phenomenal, however, they lack that hit that's present in many of the actual car audio subwoofer company products.
@@tjc9431 the mb channel shows you the shocking results you can get with under seat or behind seat enclosures. For daily drivers and still have every day function and usability. You can run 4000 watts but it may not even be needed.
MB has stated that he's not going to review Gately woofers. He's had one on his channel previously but he doesn't plan on any further reviews of that brad out of respect.
Man I've been following you for awhile. And you use to preach quantifiable this and that. This video I'm sorry is absolutely biased. You did absolutely no actual real "quantifiable" analasys. You named off soft parts and claim one was better than the other and has better cooling etc etc. And you may be right by all accounts but you didn't test anything at all. Just fyi . I can go to a build house and design an 8 inch with the biggest voice coil, spider this and that with all the gap and cooling. Put the biggest nastiest magnet on it and claim that it handles more power, cools better, fits in traditional sized holes and none of that matters without "quantifiable" measurements. Not long ago or maybe too long ago because something on this channel changed. You would do video on the likes of JL audio and praise all the tech on them and their Klippel tested this and that and that's what makes them a superior product. Your words. "Quality". Now GroundZero you admitted actually wins sound quality comps. They also Klippel test and rate their drivers. So efficiency is tested etc. I'm just gonna throws this out there and guess that Cosmo isn't as sensitive as the GZ. But maybe it is we don't know because neither were tested. But you do sell the Cosmo so "ha ha ha". Bruh not a knock on you personally just this video.
The quantifiable are there maybe you don’t agree, which is your opinion. But the soft parts tell the tale. Ground Zero did absolutely nothing here. Just used their name to sell a 8”. It’s my opinion. And the ground zero 8” has no high MUSICAL scores no where in the internet. I found it lacking as well. And taking it apart I found out why.

Cosmos should reach out to more retailers to get their name and product out. They look promising but are hard to find.

Check out New Dayton audio ultimax 2. 8” sub. Had 18mm travel . Had flat round coil said their best woofer in the world for the money!
