Jesus, thats not my cup of tea :-) One of our instructors is Thyphoon pilot, a year ago he showed me his interpretation of "fun" in the air... I've always carry a bag with me since then. Have fun and alway happy landing, Jack!
Self-launchers are usually not allowed to do aerobatics, as the engine and the construction holding it make the airplane heavier and less G-resistant ;)
Love the aerobatics but why is the emergency canopy release handle fixed with steel wire? I case things go south it might be that you can't snap it in time and then you are going down with your plane. Always bugs me when I see it on ASK 21 videos, but maybe I'm missing the point.

This is just like me learning ...!!!! 😊😊😊😊 nice rudder work here ...
Had no idea these gliders could pull such maneuvers! Can self-launchers do this, too? Really starting to get into gliding, looks incredibly fun! 🙂👍

Why all the turns to the right ????
Why not?
@@stefanastley It would nice to do a few to the left too, so to be well rounded doing these aerobatic maneuvers...
Nice Video. Can you tell me what the "Launch Assist" is for?
engages the afterburners 😌
@@jackjenner-hall7719 ok, so it doesn't actually do anything I assume?😂
@@patricbaumann5134 I wish, but sadly not ;)
That’s good !!!

it’s locking wire i believe, to stop the release moving. It’s thin wire which can break easily if anyone ever needed to bail out.
👍. Nice
how many g’s were pulled at max?
The max amount of Gs for an ASK 21 is around 6.5 Gs and -4Gs so the man probbaly pulled around 3-5Gs
