Very pretty Lorena. Yes I’d switch out coffee table for sure! An ottoman with storage would be wise. Anything to minimize injury to your baby-toddler.
LOVE your idea of two small cubes like the ones you pictured. Functional and pretty!!! It will open up floor space and I think you will enjoy that. What about moving the round table by the chair over to the corner and then just have a small cocktail/plant stand type table there? Still a place for a glass or a cup, but less space used then, too. Cannot wait to see what you do. That black cabinet is just my favorite!!!!
Yes. Ottoman or 2 sounds good for baby girl. Because you still have plenty of surfaces and that beautiful black cabinet to display decor, I don’t think you will miss the coffee table. Good decorating, as always, Lorena.🤗
Very nice decor, Lorena! Yes, I think a round ottoman with storage for her toys would be the safest for her and look real good in your space there! Round is nice for little ones to walk around while learning to walk…and it leaves more space around it for her to roam free when she is exploring that room! So excited to see her grow; it goes so fast so enjoy every moment!
Love what you have done so far. I would suggest lowering the top photos over your couch under the lower ones. It would visually connect the photos to the couch. Also, I couldn't help noticing your outdoor fence. It would be relatively easy to stain it in a medium or dark gray stain. It would instantly elevate the look of the yard thru the windows and when you are out in the yard during the summer. I vote for a round or square upholstered ottoman.

Looks great. Loved your greenery you dried out. You can purchase clear corner protectors - bumpers for corners in coffee table. You also can put furniture coasters under legs of coffee table and just easily slide coffee table out of the way. Ottomans would look nice as well. Thank you.
I keep my granddaughter and they had a square coffee table and from our experience the coffee table scared us and they removed it. Plus when she started crawling(she’s 9 months) she needed all the safe open space to move and play.

I understand about getting rid of coffee table. We got rid of ours when our son was little. Best decision as babies tumble and fall and they need space to explore without sharp table edges and corners.

In the future you could do a console table in front of windows w/ 3 draws to store runners,cloth napkins etc...For Safety in the future get rid of coffee table n place a soft ottoman like you suggested. 🎉❤😊🤗

I haven’t had a coffee table for years. One Christmas we removed it to have more room for our Christmas tree, which we always put in front of the picture window. When Christmas was over, we liked all the room we had without it. Our living room looks so much bigger. My husband always called coffee tables “shin knockers.” He was always bumping his legs on the corners. Lol
I would definitely do a small ottoman. I wouldn’t do round as your space is small.

Love everything you did Lorena! I love neutral decor this time of year, it’s calming after all of the holiday decor. I would absolutely do ottomans, possibly storage ones for future toys. 🤷🏻♀️ Plus they’re soft in case she bumps them or takes a tumble.
Everything came out, so pretty ….good job …..I vote for a round ottoman. You are not gonna regret it because little ones fall a lot when they first walk …..That way you don’t have to worry about a table in the middle of the room.

Love the look! Pillows are such a fun way to change the look., like how you can mix and match older pillows with new, made me go through my closet and see what I had. You can save lots of money right now by ordering decor items from Canada because the their exchange is at $0.74 on the dollar. We redecorated with a costal theme and purchase some items from the cottage boutique.

Beautiful as always ❤ I don’t use a coffee table at all as I removed it with kids falling and hurting them self. I just got use to the opening of my living room as it’s not big as well.
Your home looks so pretty! My vote is for the Target ottomans. I have three of them in plaid and they are so versatile. Right now they are under my entryway console table, but I've also used them in my living room along the wall or set up as extra seating.

I think an ottoman would look best. Preferably round. Will be safer for your daughter. Not to small you can always add a tray on top with a few accessories. Scale is important in design so I think 36” at least. I love everything you did with the rest on your styling.
(I am a retired interior designer.) when you daughter is downstairs you can sit the tray on your dining room table so it is out of her reach. Thank you for the video great job!

I would suggest getting rid of it all together. It would make your space look so much bigger.
An ottoman. She can use it for so many things and not get hurt.
I prefer a coffee table but decided to purchase an ottoman in our space. We felt it was safer for our grandson when he visits us.

Hi, it's from McGee and Co. It might not be available anymore ☹ got it last summer. Hopefully they bring it back.
