- The last Buckethead show for me (and definitely my favourite of the five) on my epic east side visit to Bucketheadland. It isn’t every day you get a seat in the front row directly in front of Buckethead. 😍
This song is so powerful and is available as an instrumental on Buckethead’s Pike called Sea Above The Sky.

It took around 39 hours to get from my home in rural NSW, Australia, to the east side of the USA, but I might have to make another trip to Bucketheadland soon, while I still can. You should too.

@@slimhanson5792 I like the songs but MCM’s singing was atrocious. The energy MCM brought was great but I found the singing very depressing, especially alongside Buckethead’s beautiful playing. MCM is young though and definitely has a lot of potential if they take some singing lessons. Unfortunately MCM doesn’t know how to sing supportively from the diaphragm and is at great risk of damaging their voice and developing nodules. MCM also desperately needs some basic music rudiments training in particular, learning how to count. Singing badly is forgivable, especially for someone so young but not counting or learning your own song’s structure is a musical sin. Wishing MCM well and hope they can capitalise on their very green potential.

Yeah, the intro is fairly generic sounding but it builds into something great for sure.

@@anthonyjanes7522 I went to the USA to see him. He’s very ill. 😢 His heart is failing him. I don’t think he’ll leave the USA again.

@@anthonyjanes7522 Buckethead released some ‘songs’ on his bucketheadpikes.bandcamp.com site which hinted he has Left Ventricular Dysfunction, which is heart failure and very serious…and tragic. The songs were his own poetry read by his psychiatrist over Buckethead’s acoustic guitar accompaniment.

@@anthonyjanes7522 Have a listen to the songs and it will give you an idea. I don’t know for sure and have only taken the info from what he posted. The songs are “Can I Leave” and “Death Dance With The Divine”. It seems like a statement to me. 😞 You take care too! Thanks for the comments.

@@RamseyVT Poor little thing. They did kinda blow it. 😔 I think if Buckethead had offered me the opportunity at that age I would have jumped at it too. Pity MCM didn’t put the work in to learn the songs and take some singing lessons. 🤷🏻♀️
