    We have some sycamores here around that l know off in alabama. I think a bunch is along the river right behind my house. Im useing mostly cherry oak hackberry an some ash. Turned out a beautiful peace. Great work you should have more subscribers. Hope more sees your work.

    Nice bowl! I do or at least try to do live edge Black Walnut bowls. I have a lot of Black Walnut that has been harvested at different times and 3 different trees. It is my understanding that a tree that has been harvested during its growing season will have bark that that is tighter than a winter harvested tree. If it starts to be a struggle to keep the bark I do what you did and to be honest I think a natural edge bowl looks almost as good as a live edge one. Thanks for the video.

      I agree, I also like to natural edged as much as the live edged.

    It's never a good idea to leave bark on any piece of wood art. It will rot and ruin the artistic quality.
