Fun editing fact, the button used in the video I immediately lost after filming. The button sound is from a much beloved fan I got from a dear friend for my wedding that had just broken and I'm weirdly emotional about using it in a video. Please RIP fan, I heart u.

as someone who has watched every video of yours, i am here for the new content, 'basic' or 'beginner topics', 'onboarding', i am just thrilled for more videos.
Get that bread girl! Even for older fans of the games, like me, who are so deep in fan theories it will be nice to get a refresher on the canonical lore.
I tuned out for a moment and then heard the phrase "bitter divorce," which sent a cold shiver and a wave of adrenaline through my body before you finished "with Adobe"

Ghil just in case you didn’t already know, if you make little lore shorts be sure and click to turn off the notify subs check box, that way when you post the short it'll show the short people who aren't subbed to you, otherwise only your subs will see your yt shorts. So you can make a little more from your shorts that way

Insane to think that it has been over a decade since Inquisition, the time between Origins and Inquisition was roughly only five years from memory. Dreadwolf has been killed and resurrected several times and I hope the final product doesn't suffer from it, although I am pessimistic on that point.
I have been getting your name around in several groups on Facebook, as well as Split The Veil, in preparation for Dreadwolf, without sounding like an advertising bot, everyone seems very interested, when I bring you up. Can't wait for more great content to come out.
A lot of fellow players in these groups seem surprised their is a channel like this that has covered so much lore, and so deeply
It been 10 years. People who were children when DAI came out now have kids. Gunna be a lot of new people!
I been falling sleep to a book emporium video for like 7 years there are like 20 so it never gets old. Thank you for all your work on this lore. I played DAO first when I was like 14 and it keeps changing my life every time I read a book listen to a video or play the game. I wouldn’t want anyone to take that from me so i think I and others feel you about everything you said I wish you the best take it easy and take care of your self.
I have been supporting your content for years and I am glad you have been taking a much needed health break! I will be glad to see what this summer announcement entails and what new things you have in stored in the future!
This channel and Split the Veil Podcast is my only connection to the Fandom at this point. The Reddit and Discord servers always seem so toxic against people with differing opinions.
The community here seems so much more kind and friendly. I also love the rebrand design you have created! Looking forward to so much more content from you and Jordan!
Tumblr was the same way! You couldn’t say, for example “hey I pick Cass as Divine” without the narrative being “so you hate mages” and that was like… Back in 2017. I’m sure fandom has gotten a lot worse in recent years. As I said in my own comment, I can’t be f***ed with that kind of drama now. My only real connections to fandom at this point at Jackdaw and Caitie! Sometimes I miss having a friend to theorize and fangirl with but do not miss the drama.
I'm with you! These are where I get my news from here because of all the toxicity! Wish the DA area was more like Legend of Zelda. They are so awesome!

I found a Solasmancer discord and honestly it's the healthiest fandom group I've ever been in. They get so much flack from the greater fandom that they're just so chill with themselves.

I don’t know why (well I kinda do) but even though I understood the implication of the actual kinda net Leliana would cast; I still couldn’t help but imagine Leliana with this itty bitty net to catch her bugs when they are being particularly troublesome.
Edited to say it’s funny to think of clerics running through the Grand Cathedral in Val Royeaux with tiny lace nets trying to catch blessed nugs.

I think the rebrand is a great idea! It's gonna help newbies get into the series and will serve as a refresher for old fans like me. I am so excited for Dragon Age summer. Even if we don't get the game this year, it feels really nice that the community is coming to life again

I’m personally very excited for this, I just want more of your content honestly!
I know it's because there's been very little new content in the DA universe for almost 10 years and there's been a lot of staff turnover at Bioware but the Dragon Age subreddit has really gone down the tubes with the same type of doomsaying posts that I find just really tedious and eye rolling so I've stopped visiting it. That was the only place I was still involved in the fandom but it wouldn't surprise me if it was actually even worse elsewhere, since I ended up on that reddit because the tumblr and twitter fan communities were kind of disasters long before now. It really sucks honestly, so I'm glad you'll still be making stuff, regardless of what it actually might be! Thanks and take as much time as you need.

I'm just so happy that Dragon Age stuff is going to be in bloom again. My son (who was 1 when DA:I came out) is experiencing the game for the first time as a rogue.

Glad to have you back for the media ramp up that DA4 will have in the coming days, hopefully it is everything we ever dreamed of and will induce us in many errors as we try to derive the plot from the tealeaves, lmao.
For topics that you should cover, I dunno if you're planning on doing it and tbh I dunno *how* important it will be, but maybe an update on the World State Decisions - like Ferelden Throne, Divines, Circles, etc... - and general state of the world as we know in Trespasser - or well, Tevinter Nights/The Missing comics. It doesn't - shouldn't probably - have to be comprehensive, but its a good way to tell people the choices without them having to have played/replay the game. (I say, while speeding through (like 1hr a day, if im lucky lol) Origins because I got overconfident I could bang these games out in 2 months, forgetting im not a college student anymore but a person with an actual job, rip)

When I finished Inquisition, your content really helped me relax as we impatiently/patiently wait for the Vale to drop and see what the Dreadwolf will be. I dont mind you doing deep dives into Thedas itself or whatever other content that you choose to make. There is so much lore and things that are easily missed between the games, books, and other media that need to be pointed out. Personally, Id love to see a tier list of your favorite companions, subclasses, and whatnot. I'll watch whatever you decide to post :D

I absolutely do not blame you at all for shutting down comments and messages. I've got every variation of dragon age, Dreadwolf and BioWare blocked and filtered across all my fandom spaces bc lbh people tend to turn into fucking pricks when they don't get their idea of good representation and they're waaaay to quick to accuse creators of having awful prejudices when they don't get what they want. I'm so excited! I only found out your channels long after Inquisition had come out, and when I already had played Origins and DA2 a couple of times each, so being able to go through this new journey with you in real time will be very interesting.
Happy to hear there's more content coming! Glad you had a chance to have family time too. It's a game changer! swapped from Photoshop to ClipStudio about a year ago, and I'd had it for +2yrs😅. Talk about a dread wolf! Hopefully the easy mode spin up videos make learning it less hectic and it starts feeling good to produce them again. Cheers!

Currently 8 months pregnant with my first, and i cannot be bothered with any of the negativity thats been seeping into certain places in the fandom over the course DA4s development.
