Thanks. Even Dremel website doesn't have instructions on how to change sanding drums.

Thank you for posting your Dremel videos. I got a Dremel tool for Christmas and I read the manual, checked out their website but nothing has been as clear as your videos!

My sanding pieces came off the mandrel almost immediately. I keep trying hoping the sandpaper was too big. I have to use my old screw in mandrels. Pretty disappointed

These only last about a month i went back to the screw mandrel once the sanding circle breaks oog the plastic gets screwed up probably be ok if the sanding material doesnt break off leaving the plastic exposed ,i went back to the screw method

Bummer. Nice piece,,but no durability again for the EZ lock stuff.. Consumer warning!!!: The EZ lock cutter wheel setup took out a switch and a 90° attachment head because once locked on, the cutter wheels are so far out of balance and fit so loosely to the arbor that it vibrates your hand numb. 2 trays of
ez lock cutter wheels and arbors tossed out. Back to my Dubro cutter wheels and arbors. Rebuilding the 395 5 speed now.

Why do my sanding drum keep falling down? It happens with both styles ,the ez drum and the one that screws on.

For the new ez lock I can’t help ya. I just got mine. But for the old screw type, check to make sure it’s a dremel brand sanding drum. There are other brands that will work with dremel, but I’ve found the sanding drums to slide on occasion. If that doesn’t solve it you might just need to tighten it down more. Before you start working with the tool, check and make sure you can’t move that drum. If you can slide it with your fingers, tighten it more. If that doesn’t work, get a new sanding bit.

When you bear down on it heavy the sanding disc still slips forward or backwards...
Do not buy this attachment Dremel has a lot of improving to do.... I'm going to try to get a refund at Lowe's

Purchased 4 of these for shop. They are horrible and do not work as advertised. Only can be used for very light work (which was not why I purchase Dremel tools). I strongly do not recommend these for professional use. I will stick with the screw-in type that grip the sanding disks tightly.

The sand paper is a drum, not a belt sander.

The worst Dremel product in the universe. Doesn't even last one project before it fails.

These are garbage. Sanding disks? Come off as soon as they heat up a little bit from friction. I burned a finger and shot a couple across the garage. DO NOT BUY!

Why are you titling the video "Dremel EZ Drum Mandrel" and then spending a third of the time talking about a different mandrel???
