Thank you very much for your very easy to understand explanation.
I am Japanese. In Japan, the number of patients with chemical sensitivity is increasing.
When I go out, artificial fragrances from fabric softeners and detergents from other people's clothes end up on my hair and body.
Therefore, I spend all my time at home.
There are still many people who do not understand chemical sensitivity or who label it as a mental illness. I am at a loss as to how I should live in such a world.
    This video is encouraging.

I can not emphasize enough how valuable your videos are to me. Nobody talks about this stuff and as you know frankly most doctors are useless. You really are a lifeline to me and I'm sure many others out there. Please keep making these videos so us with MCAS and MCS can can have a fighting chance to heal and live a better life.

A doctor tells me that I can't do this myself and that I need to find a doctor. Well, not only did doctors cause this and countless others treat me as if I was crazy or eating disordered, after years of trying to get help, I gave up on them. I got rid of multiple chemical sensitivities all on my own, thank you very much. A year ago I couldn't even go through the chemist section in a supermarket without getting a headache right away that would persist, now.I don't have these issues anymore. And maybe you could tell people to stop using poisonous crap like synthetic pesticides not only when they start reacting to them. We're just the canaries in the coal mine. It will slowly poison the others or their kids as well. 1000 toxicants per day is what scientists have estimated we get in contact with daily. It's not people's bad genes that are to blame. It's our world being poisoned more and more.

It's awful how so many medical professionals push their ignorance, arrogance, and fear of being wrong --- over onto their patients --- in form of medical gaslighting. Sorry you went through it... I've been through it myeslf. May I ask what you did to heal it?

Would greatly appreciate if you gave this a read. I’m a 27 year old male and MCS is killing me... I was in a moldy environment when my symptoms began roughly 6 years ago but honestly I’m not super sure that’s even the cause, as I may have been having mild symptoms well before that. I have migraines, tremors, and endless neurological and GI symptoms in certain environments, that taper down QUICKLY when I go to a proper environment for me. I’ve tested and proven it to myself hundreds of times so I’m sure MCS is my issue. It’s gotten to the point where if I stay in bad places now I even begin to have myoclonus/seizures. I feel that it may soon kill or hospitalize me long term because im running out of places I’m not sensitive too. I’ve had to leave my home and job, I am sitting outside on a bench of my hotel right now because I can’t even go in there. Im sensitive to EVERYTHING. Have been drinking only 2 brands of water for years. Trying to not make this TOO long while also emphasizing the severity of my problems.. My question really is, is there one specific doctor you would recommend for me, given my situation. If you want more details I would love to talk personally but I understand you are very busy! Any specific advice you’d be willing to give on which doctor I should choose from the ones listed above, could save my life. Thank you for reading.

I live in a home built in 1928, and a very high humidity place. Mold , musty house. I don’t have a choice.
With my family. My sister n my brother in law and my parents moved in less than a year ago. And it’s tough. Like yesterday. And still itching and burning and I feel like crying. I keep on being strong. Dad says, it’s in your head. I have heard it from members of my family countless times. It hurts like crazy. 😭. My sister had sensitive skin. Now I thought a I had out of control allergies. But at least now I know I’m not alone. Fresh air is great!
I pretty much live in my bedroom. It’s small and has 4 breathing beautiful windows. Thank You GOD♥️!
My sister doesn’t understand, but she is compassionate to me. And Mom♥️she is trying. And this making me feel like they care, and it’s so helpful like, they love me. My Dad, always says or gets angry! And I just want to go crawl under a rock. 2 dermatologist told me 11 yrs ago. We are so sorry Rhonda, you’re sensitive to everything. And they were so sad.
Now, FINALLY TODAY, I know more.
    Thank You So Much 😭.

How do we do fix it though? This has completely upended my life. I can't go to grocery stores or anywhere that has fragrances or I will have horrible headaches, body aches, weakness, high heart rate, etc. for DAYS. At this point, I literally have to leave fast if I don't want to feel like crap. I can't keep a job. I am so angry and at my wits end because nothing I do can control it. I feel like if this is going to be my life, what kind of quality does it even have? What's the point? People look at me like I'm crazy and doctors tell me it's all in my head. I am having a real reaction. Hives on my lips and neck, heart rates goes up to 150, blood pressure rises, headaches, dizziness, throat swelling, body pain. Then for days after I can barely get out of bed. And it seems like there's nothing I can do about it. I'm grateful that you are acknowledging and giving science to it but how do I fix it??? I can't stand that I'm at the mercy of simple perfumes and smells that everyone else seems to be fine with. Is there a book or video or some other resource you can recommend to help?

I have Rosacea on top of this. Does anyone taste the chemicals in their mouths. Like you’re being fed whatever is setting you off. ? And when I’m going through an episode. That’s what I call it, when I’m being attacked by toxins. I brush my teeth and I have to throw it away. One time use and throw the toothbrush away.
I can use euricen cream for my mascara. Lol. If I’m going thru an episode, I’d something is on my hand, and I thought I got it clean, but I end up contaminating my big jar of euricen cream and I have to throw the whole thing away and replace it. On anything if it gets exposed to a chemical, I have throw it away. It tastes Really gross. It’s very expensive having this stuff. And my
pain medicine causes my mouth and around my mouth to wrinkle very, very bad. It makes me look so unglued, like I’m over 100 yrs old. Like toothpaste does it too! Anything that sets me off, it cause my mouth to disappear and super wrinkles around my mouth. I feel fatigued and eating whatever that is making me sick. Like being hooked up to an IV of toxins.
Sucking the life out of me n making me feel very dehydrated. It would help me so much emotionally I’d my family would stop fighting me and support me. Especially me Dad who I love So Very Much. My Mom n Sister are trying. My brother I law kinda understands because of his sensitive skin. Now I can Actually maybe make some sort of since to them and my new Dr. I get serious headaches too.
I like to take a 4 mg steroid that’s usually used for when a get rhinitis or sinus infections. And a sumatriptan along with it for the headache and that works well. Smells and even cool air sets off sinuses and a migraine. And in my ears , throat chest neck and sometimes my whole body. I’m a walking barometer. My eyes are always messed up too from chemicals and dry eye . I feel like my tongue is swollen a lot. I’m. I feel So Blessed to have found you Dr and others to talk to, because I have felt I’ve been alone for years with this infirmity. It’s like a curse. But I have a Savior and His name is JESUS. I lean on Him and His love for me and the world Everyday ❣️.

Mine really kicked in after the lockdown when fragrances became a new norm.
The biggest offenders besides airplugs with synthetic fragrances are:
      garbage bags ,
      dryer sheets
      Fragrant whipes
      Some fragrant detergents
      Tide pods!
      FEBREZE! air fresheners
      JUUL!
      Cleaners with fragrances
      Glifosat
      And the newest treath ...
Down dish soap - again, they changed the formula!
Alkohol denat the first ingredient ,
a lot of polyethylene glycol - very, very bad!
      and synthetic fragrance.
It's like hand sanitizer except a lot worse.
      All toxic! to everyone.
      I react to it.
Many people don't have symptoms because:
they already are taking some meds like proton pomp inhibitors,
      singular, antidepressants ...
And actually, those who drink a little , because ethanol actually act as antidote in many poisonings.

This video is purely speaking to the body’s holistic dysfunction with theories on why we experience these symptoms. But, it is sending an incorrect message. It is not focusing on the main cause of all of the body systems dysfunctions. For example why does CFS, MCS, toxic mold exposure, POTS, autoimmune issues, allergies, etc all overlap? Nervous system dysregulation causes all of the above. The body is stuck in fight or flight via chronic stress and usually by people with a history of trauma, abuse or significant stress. The hypersensitivity is our body trying to do its most important job, to protect us. However, it is so hyper-sensitive with new protective neural pathways created in an attempt to keep us safe. The brain needs to be trained back into a safety mode to return to state of calm. It will not detoxify when it is conserving energy to digest food or not react to the environment until a person feels a felt sense of safety. None of us are crazy, however there is a major connection between the mind and the body. How high strung are you? What do you do relax? To take care of yourself? How often do you feel joy? Feel in the moment? Pay attention to the sun on your face? Do you even feel your body besides your symptoms? Practice somatic. Practice joy. Relax. Slow down. Breathe. Meditate. Stop being afraid of your body, of everything. You are not sick!!!! Your nervous system is deregulated and you were not exposed to too many chemicals or to toxic mold. Once the body is in a relaxed state and your brain in retrained all things will normalize and function normally again.
