This is an amazing lesson. So many advanced concepts about a basic skill. Adam has packed these 9min with tremendous insight. New players might not completely grasp all the important details Adam reveals and explains here. Make sure to go back and revisit, even after a couple of months or years from watching it initially.

You have some of the most valuable, concise information on the golf swing that I’ve seen anywhere.

As usual absolutely brilliant video. You are by far the best coach in terms of relating thought processes and learning experiences, particularly learning through feedback and by actually playing and feeling. This is far more valuable than many coaches can related in 1-1 lessons. From this and another video, making "errors on the other side," sticks with me as I practice. If you fat the ball, did you ever make an error on the other side and take a divot way ahead of the ball? I bet many people have been taking divots before the ball all of their lives. Such insight is really important. All the best Adam!

I am always amazed at how Adam helps us learn a movement versus a position. I often find myself thinking why haven't other golf instructors pointed this out before. As a 81 year old golfer who has played the game since I was a an 8 year old boy, I wish I had the benefit of Adam's golfing wisdom a long time ago. At the same time, I am very grateful I found him well into the back nine of my golfing life. Thanks Adam.

Amazing how such a simple concept can be so challenging, even for a natural athlete. Thanks for the tips Adam.

One of your other videos suggested closing the club face at address to achieve the bowed left wrist….with the right arm returning the club to square at impact as it pushes the left arm through transition for delivery of the strike…in other words a drill to work with.
I guess that’s just “camping” out with the required action…I practiced some sand shots, short pitches and chips with the closed face at address and it worked pretty well…

Thanks. Yes, club face is hard to control, it takes some experimentation to make progress

Thanks! Just so you know there are three members now for Scratch Golf Academy making videos. Mine will be released on Mondays and focus on golf instruction. Master PGA Club Fitter Rob Kusek will be doing equipment improvement and reviews on Wednesday, and Anthony Vessecchia TPI Certified Golf Fitness instructor will be doing fitness videos Friday’s. Please enjoy their videos too I’m sure you’ll learn a great deal from there both. I hand picked them to be a part of the team.

      Chris,
If you’re slicing it you’ll need to turn the club face towards the ground (de-loft, closed) I did a video at this channel on ‘getting in the slot’ you might find helpful

Thanks for the content. I don't understand why it's easier for me to square my irons than my driver/3 wood. I have been sitting with this issue for years. I can't identify what the problem is. Maybe you can reply to my post with links to your other videos. TIA

Sorry, just saw this. Less loft always produces more curve, it's just the physics of impact.
