  • @SDot2385

    The TGIN gave me lots of moisture, but not a lot of slip. I’m using it up by adding it to deep conditioners that make it easier to detangle.

    • @Reallifewithamanda
      @Reallifewithamanda  3 года назад

      have you tried detangling prior to deep conditioning to see if it gives a better result?

    • @meritacole-joseph3653

      Try adding oils for slip. Olive oil, avocado oil, caster oil etc

      Right there with you, using it as a overnight conditioner was terrible my hair was a tangled mess. Using it as a deep conditioner was wayyy better but still won’t repurchase at all.

    How long do you leave on the Maui hair mask and do you use it with heat?

    • @Reallifewithamanda
      @Reallifewithamanda  3 года назад +2

      The directions say 5 minutes but I use it for a full session of 20-30 minutes under my heat cap and I have been loving it more & more with each use.

      @@Reallifewithamanda oh ok 👍 because i have it and I have been using it for the five minutes and I have been wondering if I used it for a longer amount of time if it would damage my hair or something.

    Honey is a protein-look it up- has a lot of protein...

    • @Reallifewithamanda
      @Reallifewithamanda  2 года назад +1

      Honey consists of exactly 0.10 grams of protein which is merely a trace. Please be aware that cosmetic grade honey is slightly different. Also the amount of that ingredient used in a product plays a huge part. Hopefully this helps

      @@dr.julianataylor4312 you’re welcome! Oh no! I’m guessing your hair is relaxed? If so a relaxer + another chemical service like coloring can have adverse effects most common is dryness (I experienced that) I highly suggest choosing one chemical service relaxer or color. I think temporary dyes are safer if you want a little color I haven’t personally tried it so I’m not 100% sure.
