@@MoralTruth IT IS! because the composers was the 2 same person tho... if we see the credit post, it was toby fox with camellia too, Camellia even comment "We work again with her (marine) for this song", and the story was LINKED..! If you see her live stream a hours ago, she said it was Camellia idea to make marine died in the "I'm your treasure box" because of the curse of the box, it's like the lyrics telling she was focusing to collect the trasure until she forget the the most important part.. and in her marine is like fighting the past and the present, her own ego, about being greedy and something, something that can't let her go or move on.. it was cool story for an MV songs tho. T.T
while video lore wise the orignal Marine was forever trapped along with her crew. Years later, A new pirate taking the mantle of the "legendary pirate Marine" starting off brand new finds Marines old ship. And with her treasures left untouched, as the video states an "old legend" which means she was famous but after being trapped her and her crew bassically disappeared.
@MoralTruth it would make sense since the three songs title wise also follow a story the first song is her first starting off as a pirate, the second song, she's become fairly well known, but is trapped alive in the box asking to be released. Whoever she was singing to decided to chain up her box in the video and leave her there to die (which is horrifically sad) then this last video her chest is finally opened after a new "Marine" fights her ghost.
I dont get how she still has a budget. iii just came out 3 months ago. And the amount of money this had to cost would have been even higher. Also all of the Treasure Box callbacks. I guess Toby is embracing his U.Z.Inu roots finally.

If you look closely at the flashback you will see a skeleton on a fetal position. I guess Marine didn't manage to escape the box. And look at her eyes. Ghost Marine has the right colors (yellow and red) while Pirate Marine has the opposite.
Studios: how much you can pay Marine: UNLIMITED BUDGET WORKS But to be honest it does not take that much for the studios and Marine is a "save investment" .... still Senchou is paying the biggest part out of her own "chest"

When are you going to react to Vox Akuma's original song that was released last month? That song is already considered the longest vtuber song of all, It edged out a first-place tie for 'Eternity Bright' by AZKi, and 'Ai no chiisana uta' by Moona Hoshinova. That original song by Vox Akuma is almost 7 minutes long, The lyrics of the song are very deep, serious and very personal, At least you should give him a chance this time, although many no longer want to know anything about Nijisanji.
