I remember the very first time she went up on stage just like I remember the very first time Britney Spears went up on stage. Except, this time it was different. The moment she opened her mouth singing it was as if an angel entered the room. I kid you not, it was absolutely heavenly. Pure and Crystal clear. If one were to close their eyes, and listen to this angelic voice not knowing it was a little girl, the moment they would open their eyes, they be shocked just like everyone else knowing that this beautiful angelic voice came from a very young little girl. We knew that she would make it big time. Had she been on the "Voice" all four of those celebrities sitting in those red chairs would have turned around simultaneously on her first or second note only to be shocked by viewing and hearing where this beautiful angelic voice was coming from.

I found out that Taylor Swift uses Auto-Tune when I looked up the meaning of Auto-Tune which explained it is electronic equipment when you sing off key the electronic Auto-Tune makes your singing voice ... when singing off-key sound almost normal ... they use Taylor Swift as an example what it sounds like when she sings without Auto-Tune... it was the year 2010 when she sang a duet with Stevie Nicks from Fleetwood Mac at the Grammys ... the person who Does auto-tune for her ... tragically passed away 45 minutes before the Grammys started there wasn't enough time to replace that person in such a short time so she sang without Auto-Tune it was off key the whole song ... I love the music from both Jackie Evancho and Taylor Swift. Nothing wrong with that as it is a personal choice just like I love chocolate and mango ice cream. I allow other to agree or disagree with me. It is a free world to love what we want and not have to agree with what others love. And no I don't have to compare them to each other just so someone else feel right about their choice. That is just plain rude, mean and unacceptable. It is ok to love them both.

I always wondered what nationality Evancho is. Since she is Polish, Slovic, German and Italian, I guess Evancho is Italian. Taylor Swift is a goos singer, but Jackie is much better.

Favorite film is Last Airbender (2010)? Not gonna lie, that hurts how much I like her. What does she see in that terrible movie? And she likes the 2004 Phantom of the opera movie? Sure, I did too, but that's because I hadn't seen any Broadway performances of it nor read the book nor previous film adaptations, it was effectively my first real exposure to the story. She's actually seen the Broadway show, she knows how good it's supposed to be, and she still thinks that movie holds up to the other versions?
When David Foster, her producer and concert host, introduced her song "All I Ask of You" in her Dream With Me PBS Great Performances concert, she said she saw "the movie Phantom of the opera" starring Emmy Rossum at age 7/8 which inspired her to begin singing song from the movie. I doubt the cast of the touring company that performed in Pittsburgh had as much impact upon her, though probably delighted to see it on stage. Glad she had that opportunity with her siblings.

You have it all wrong. Juliet, Jackie's older sister, was born in a male body and felt she was a female as a child, had nothing to do with Jackie's fame. There are several interviews with Jackie and Juliet together that refute your mistaken assumption that she is angry at her family and that Jackie is embarrassed. Jackie is more than "OK with it", supporting her beloved sister and the LGBTQ community through the Braveheart Foundation established by her mother. She also dedicates songs to her sister in recognition of her strength and courage.
One would certainly think that with all these acolades that she would do well at the Grammys. But how can she go up against the solid block of rap and hip hop music?
