  • Another Build + Camper Video. This is an older video since I sold the camper but so many people asked me about it I had to make a video. With our family we love to do all kinds of camping. Anything from tent camping to big camper camping. We were planning a big trip from the east coast to the west coast and with a family of 4 it was hard to get everything we needed in the Tundra and sleep comfortably in a rooftop tent. I found this beautiful custom NOBO 10.6 off-road camper that check off everything we needed. We were able to make it through some tough terrain and get to those amazing spots with everything we needed; water, bedding, heater/a.c., pull out kitchen, and all of our other toys.

    Epic build man! Just sold my Tacoma for a Tundra. Very happy with the decision. Looking at that exact trailer. Great video!!

      Awesome you are going to love the tundra! It’s a beast and a tank. Just be cautious when buying an off-road trailer. Make sure it’s built for what you plan on doing and has the right suspension

    camper looks nice, but knowing who made it i don't think i'd buy one...how long have you had it and how has it held up without repairs?

    • @overlandtundras

      It served well for all our trips on and offroad but poorly made in my personal opinion. I had it for about 1 year and then got something bigger for the family.

    Did you do the wrap on the trailer or is that a special addition? I searched for it but you seam to have the only one?

    • @overlandtundras
      @overlandtundras  2 года назад +2

      Hey Mike, this was actually a special edition from a dealership in North Carolina. If you want to do something like this you can reach out to forest River and request if they will sell you the decals and just apply them on top of the wrap

    What does the bottom of that NoBo look like? I do offroading in ROUGH areas but would love to have a trailer to pull and camp for a few days. Is it particle board junk or is it actually functional for offroading in the mountains?

    • @overlandtundras
      @overlandtundras  2 года назад

      This one has an axle. It’s supposedly meant to be taken offroad and it did great in Utah through some bumpy terrains and climbs with good ground clearance however i can’t see it lasting very long under any more stress. If you are going through rough terrain I would advise on independent suspension and something built with more aluminum. I recently bought an intech sol horizon which is not for off-road but intech has some other camper trailers that I highly recommend.

      Don't believe what this guy said. He has no clue. I did 20,000 miles last year in my 10.5. I spent most of my time above 8,000 feet and dispersed camped on bumpy mountain trails the whole 5 months. It's well made and durable. This guy is has no clue what he is talking about.

    I think your truck looks really shiny. While it's a capable truck, it appears that it doesn't get out of the mall or off the beach often and onto serious trails. You are way off base on your assessment of the no-bo 10.6, and it's off-road chops. You should do a little research at elavation for a few months, reassess, and then comment on the no-bo 10 .6 and its off-road abilities. Your current assessment is flawed.
    I like your shiny trucks and trailer though.

      I respect everyone’s opinion but everyone that has had them that I know has had multiple issues. The forums and Facebook pages are full of people with issues of poor quality and falling apart. After our trip to Utah from Florida traveling thru desert, snow, sand, rocks the floorboard seals gave out and the drive back with all the weather absorbed water and rotted the front. 4K miles later everything was loose, walls falling apart, everything needed to be re sealed, water tank leaking, exterior water connection leaking into the cabin, and the list goes on. I’m glad you have a unit that hasn’t fallen apart!
