I've been in and out of the hospital for the past two months and I've learned that you really need to cherish the times when you are healthy and be grateful that I have an illness that I can try and treat and not dwell on it!
My dad passed this year unexpectedly and so the life lesson I have tried to apply to my life is practicing more patience. I’m working on not reacting right away. When something happens, I make myself take two deep breaths and reassess the situation. The people in your life won’t be around forever and I don’t want to be remembered for having a short fuse. I love your channel 💝 and you are amazing 😁

Life learning lesson of 2017: To never take your mother for granted. When my mother got admitted to the hospital and found out she will be on dialysis, broke my heart into piece because she will no longer be able to do thing or eat the thing she use too. Go places with me, like go shopping with me and I’ll hold her arm n we will walk down the store and talk together. My all time favorite quote is LIVE LOVE LAUGH! N I’m trying to live by that with all my love ones.
My father reminded me of a one of my most favorite quotes when I was little. Each time I put on my favorite movie, 'James and The Giant Peach'.. I would repeat this line! My father said he always cherished that. "Did you say Marvelous Pigs in Satin?!" ..."No dear lady, Marvelous Things Will Happen". I thought what a beautiful, and quite comical way to grow ever outward! Thank you Dad.
Life lesson. I help people on a daily basis. When I was younger I didn't have much patient with people but now I realize I've learned to have alot of patients and always smile and be nice. People always thank me for helping them and being so patient with them. At the end of the day be kind and have patient. Happy holidays to everyone.

It might sound cheesy, but it basically means to me that if I’m stressed it’s because I choose to be stressed and I’m not being grateful for all that I do have. Essentially, after reading this quote I took some steps back and thought to my self “why am I so unhappy this year ?” I have gone through Many difficult times before and have never felt this terrible, I came to the conclusion that I was only focusing on all the bad stuff. And now I’m so much happier reminding myself that I am alive and healthy and my son and I ALWAYS HAVE WHAT WE NEED and everything is going to be okay❤️

I spent this whole year learning about minimalism. Of course, I apply this to my physical belongings, but it's been even more life-changing to apply minimalism to all the other non-tangible aspects of my life. I've still got a LOT to work on, but I've made huge strides in only surrounding myself with things and people and activities that genuinely bring me joy.
This past year I learned that all my mistakes as a younger me followed me into my adult life so I'm currently cleaning up the wreakage of my past and learning that your never to old to start doing what your passionate about, it's never to late to make changes.
