Great video. If you want to change the bulbs inside the clearance lights, do you have to change the entire housing, or is there a way to take the cover off the housing to access the bulb while keeping the housing attached?
I'm not sure I just bought all new housings. I'm sure you could probably just pop the bulbs off, but I didn't want to deal with splitting the housings and resealing them.
Thanks for the video. I just got a 22 F350 Lariat with the clearance markers. I would like to change them like you have done but I'm cautious about spending the time to install the chinese lights. How are they working now? would you install these again?
I was super skeptical as well. You throw Chinese lights on a $70k truck which now has $6,500 tires and wheels on it haha. But honestly I would do it again! They are still flawless. No leaks, no flickering, and they still look and fiction awesome.
It looks like most of the aftermarket lights don't have the slight curve to match the roof like the OEM lights. Did these end up with a gap on one end after installing ?
@@kman0146 no, nothing more than the OEM ones did. That’s why I used the silicone too. That will fill any seal or any small difference in the mold or how your OEM ones have molded and shaped overtime. Over a year later and mine are still good as new!
@@longhoodsbigsmiles I’m not sure. Mine had the cab lights from the factory, I just swapped them from the factory orange to these smoked and white bulb LED lights
You get any interference with these... I have the recons which light up great, thing is I can't use my key fob until they go back out. So they cause something to block my fob from working.. I know this is it because when I unplug them everyrhing works as it should.. Thanks...

What type of silicone are you using ? Like a dialectic silicone grease or???
Just a normal clear silicone from Autozone
Just readding through comments here. I would use the 3M marine grade silicone.

On your roof did your truck come like that or did you have to cut out in the roof in order for the light to snap in thanks
It came with the cab lights
Hi I am wondering I just got myself a f 350 would that be prewired for cab lights ?

Have you had any leaks yet?
I have had no leaks. It's been through crazy wind, 1-2 car washes a week, and no leaks.
What year is your truck. Mines a 19, I see the gaskets on yours we’re definitely needing attention.
2017 They weren't leaking from what I could tell, but I'm glad I did this upgrade to get the new gaskets and seal them properly

They are the partisan 5pcs smoke lens cab marker roof running. If you copy and paste that in amazon they will come up
