I have a large collection of mostly Japanese (primarily SEIKO) watches, 84 to be exact. 29 of them are G-Shocks(GW5610 - MTG-B2000), and 3 are Oceanus. I own this one with the blue bezel, the T200, and the S5000 Manta. All of the Casios are great watches. The P2000 is probably my new favorite watch. The finishing is unbelievable!
casio oceanus makes some amazing watches, they make other brands look overpriced, it makes me feel special to be a oceanus owner, i enjoy my s100 alot!
Insanely stone-cold cool watch deserving wet dreams! I envy you nobly. Wish everyone to have one one day. Thank you for the detailed review, and many more to come.
great review well done! can see why this watch is "loved" - great design! However as a diver myself, i would suggest maybe its a bit complicated for a simple timer.....any decently rated dive watch does what this can do.....i think casio have over complicated things....on an ascent the last thing you want to remember is to start pressing buttons - especially when the diver is likely to be wearin a dive computer which does "everything!" - its why a simple analogue dive watch with 3 hands and a dive bezel is enough and easier to read/operate..... nice watch though!!
Can you start the timer or stopwatch, and then go back into regular timekeeping mode, while other functions are running in the background so you can come back to them later and check the time passed?
you all probably dont care but does anyone know a tool to get back into an instagram account..? I somehow forgot my password. I appreciate any tips you can give me!
Beautiful watch. I like the strap design. I think I’d like this better than the “diver extension” method on bracelets. Or at least the “fold over” diver’s extension.”
I received this one in this colorway a few days back and it is simply amazing. The finish is on par with my Omega (except for the bezel, that is much worse on this). My only problem - notwithstanding the bezel - is that it doesn't sync to MB6 if it is paired to a phone. I'd prefer to have both.
Too bad they sell the Oceanus watches only in Japan. I know that you can order them online, but I prefer to try a watch before buying it. Great review! Subscribed :D
This is a JDM model so is gonna be pretty hard to get one as the production is limited and right now they are all sold out. The MSRP goes above 2k but you can get it on sakura watches or seiya japan for around 1700$. if you try getting it on ebay you would have to pay around 1900$
I very much admire the very advanced technology, functionality and materials. So refreshing when compared to the very conservative and lazy swiss watch industry. But the size of this watch and the very busy dial aren't attractive to me.
I personally prefer the OCW-P2000 because of what I am looking for in a watch. I do believe the Frogman is tougher than this. I would go recreational diving but if I was to perform a different type of diving I would choose the frogman.
They have a blue bezel version with a titanium bracelet. The bracelet links are beautiful. The clasp is rubbish and features no micro adjustment whatsoever!
@@billythekid1638 ohh you mean hand alignment. On mine they are all perfectly aligned. You can perform a manual hand alignment function or wait for the automatic alignment whenever is synch. If they are not properly aligned even after that probably you can send it back to the store or the manufacture in yamagata. I'm sure they will fix it as it is a premium factory that take care of that. Misaligned hands on this watches can be cause by very strong magnetism or shock. Maybe your watch was Mishandled I'm not sure.
@@watchroll3310 i left it at the very back of my gaming laptop. I only noticed it stop moving after 2 days. Yamgata is good and all but im in America 🥺
I am so impressed by casio engineering. Unfortunately though, casio missed the point big time. I think casio was more interested in showcasing an engineering marvel and not so much making sales. Its a huge marketing failure! Too big, too thick, unpractical features. This needs to be 40mm x 47mm, and not exceed 11mm. Get rid of the stop watch function on a diver! Get rid of the tide feature. They made this watch for 10% of serious divers (who have plenty of other options close to this price point)

Wow what a collection. I love seiko but I think this might give me more bang for buck than some of the seikos i lust for
You 😂are still buying a Seiko beacuse all Ocenaus line is made and build in Grand Seiko factory, that's a lesser known fact!!!
@@dado380 it is a joint facility. Pretty much everyone that owns an Oceanus knows it. And no, it is not a SEIKO.

This is why i wear casion only since i was 13 .They are out of this world.
Truly an ultimate review. The best I’ve seen by anyone for any watch.
Casio is so amazing. Currently rocking an Edifice chrono that’s solar powered everyday. One day I’ll have an Oceanus
Just got mine. Absolutely love it!!
Awesome watch and awesome review! I'm a big Casio fanboy, so it's great to see that watch up close with all of its functions. Awesome stuff
Thank you sooo much!!!!!
Très beau vidéo très bien expliqué et très très bon produit les montres Casio sont parmi les meilleurs au monde
Loved the detailed review. What's the other Oceanus you showed in the video? The one with 3 hands only
Thank you! That's the OCW-S-100

this is what you get if Casio really flexes its muscles.

That is right. I wish they release them world wide. I appreciate it!
Just keep on complaining because you don't have the money because if you have the money you will just buy it quietly
I want the mother of pearl dial. Looks gorgeous.
Beautiful piece, how much it cost and where can u get it from?

Can you have the hands in the hand shift feature while still using the stopwatch or countdown timer?
If you mean the switching timezone function you need to be in the home screen mode to be able to switch timezones
@@watchroll3310 I mean when you are in the stop watch mood , is there a button to push that moves the hands out of the way of the sub dial ?

It's a casio vs casio at the end of the day
nice video

nice weekend!!@!
Is there metal bracelet that will work with this watch?
They have a blue bezel version with a titanium bracelet. The bracelet links are beautiful. The clasp is rubbish and features no micro adjustment whatsoever!
How do you re align the mode or the second time zone mine unfortunately went haywire for some reason ☹
To change the time zone on the sub dial just pull out the crown on the first position and select the timezone
