Everyone knows it’s not harmless. Look at all the medical data. Lung and heart damage…cancer. Carcinogenic. Prenatal damage…where even babies born with brain deficiencies. Permanent brain damage…psychosis, paranoia, psychotic episodes, addicting, and on. Plenty of scientific research.
How does this help people in states where it’s still illegal?

In the rush to destroy women's rights to their own bodies the radical extremist MAGA party has exposed themselves as having dictatorial control over much of the population with the advancement of State's control all rights by the SCOTUS. The MAGA control of the State legislatures in States such as Texas are enhanced in their efforts against marijuana by the current Federal ban on banking and other aspects of even when it is legalized in a State. Businesses legal in many states are hampered by not being able to utilize the financial sectors of the economy. The loosening of federal acts against it and reduction of the governments ability to seize any assets involved regardless of the State would provide for a better business environment. The MAGA party sudden win would shift the federal power, increase federal anti-marijuana use propaganda and they could increase pressure against even fellow Red states to cease and desist in the business. The Texas MAGA governor, for example, stated this very fact and insists that marijuana would never be legalized in Texas unless (in typical MAGA violent rhetoric) 'Over his dead body'.

They made it illegal because not only could it's benefits shut down many drug companies but they also used it to over-police low income neighborhoods mainly consisting of POC. It's a long standing war against the people, there is no logical reason for it.

Facts
You wouldn’t have neuropathy if you ate properly, exercised and not get into dangerous sports or get in a car cash. Neuropathy starts with you and every person that has it. People choose not to be responsible for there own health.
Step in the right direction, but that is all. This classifies it as bad as those others listed as well as barbiturates... that are much MUCH more dangerous to ones health than that of Cannabis.
This is a bipartisan issue, by the way. My friend group and people I went to school with who are trying to run their own businesses are all very conservative… and all of us strongly support marijuana legalization, both for medicinal use and recreational use.
It's really not bipartisan in the legislature, particularly at the federal level.

Should be legal for recreational or medical use. It has so many benefits. So many people on pain pills wouldnt be addicted to them. From anxiety/ depression, seizures to other medicinal uses. It was put here on earth like other plants for a purpose.

Issue an executive order removing the federal ban. Ask Congress and the Senate to vote up or down.
This does nothing as far as legalization goes. I just returned to work after nearly 4 months of suspension (totally my fault and i'm a public servant) cause i tested positive on a random. I barely even smoke but will enjoy a couple of puffs on a Friday or Saturday while playing games or watching movies as i don't like alcohol or any other kind of intoxicant. As luck would have it, i was tested on a Monday after a few puffs over the weekend though i'm usually clean within a day or two. Now i'm shunned by co-workers as a some kind drug addict and with this entry in my service record i seriously doubt i'll ever be considered for promotion. What's done is done so i won't continue to cry but i'll still support legalization plus they should find a way to test for being under the influence on the job (i've never EVER been high on the job) though i don't think that'll ever exist. What i do in the privacy of my home should be my own freakin business.
Oral swabs testing is what you're asking for. It's pretty much a 24-48 hour detection window. May not have helped in your situation. But that sure beats an up to 4 month detection window with urine testing.

People legally running Marijuana businesses should already be paying federal taxes. They currently aren't allowed to deduct their business expenses so they are paying more in tax than they really should.

This is something that most people want and it brings a big economic boost. The states make alot of money off of licensing and taxes and it will give alot of people jobs. Actually boosting our crummy economy. So that's a pretty good move in most people's opinion. I'm curious why you are ridiculing it?
This has been a long fight that has impacted many low income communities badly. This opens up the possibility of medical use as well as a recheck of how possession is punished in non legal states. If you don't think this is important then you don't understand just how greatly the unnecessary war on weed had damaged our society.
