Don't forget to report bugs, even if they seem terribly obvious!
For example, if you walk past a wall that's texture seems glitched, horribly underres, or neon pink or something. Don't assume that will be reported by others. It could be a niche issue specific to your computer's graphical information--which would be useful for the dev's to know! Even if it is something that everyone's seeing, multiple reports is better than none. Even if you think "This must be unfinished, the devs will get to it eventually." Report it, anyway. When you report a bug, it gets put in the production schedule to fix, which means their time gets scheduled accordingly. There's a good chance you just saved the devs some undue crunch time!

Something I'll add. Not everything you do while testing will be fun. The last time iwas in a true alpha the devs wanted to stress test so they called everyone to the same location. The server started lagging, people were getting DC'd and basically nothing was working right. Chat lit up with comments like "wtf are we doing" and "this is stupid". Not realizing the whole point was to STRESS TEST the server, it wasn't to provide a fun encounter

Running a 32:9 resolution monitor. Usually find lots of bugs with this in other fully developed games so hope to point all these out to intrepid nice and early

What I was going to do was have a notepad next to me, note down every bug I encounter, no matter how small or minute, note any lag in server performance even if it’s something on my end. Note how the game is performing overall. And then report to Intrepid week after week

Imagine setting a price meant to dissuade GAMERS from gaming on a testing phase. 100 bucks to give people great resume sections. 100 bucks to both support a game that doesn’t have a AAA company funding it, as well as show interest in helping with testing. 100 bucks really isn’t shit when you use half a brain cell to understand what it is that’s being sold
