This is great. Something wonderful to me is that God understands sign languages and really appreciates when prayers are signed up toward Him. Happy Sunday
Thankyou for sharing that, because it is resorceful to those of us that have never been to a deaf church. Thank again our GOD is glorified, and honored thrugh you guys.
I appreciate this video so much. I love that culture of interruptions because it shows the pastor is willing to learn from others too. I also love that the pastor turns and looks up to God for prayer. Im re learning ASL to get better and would love to be more active in the Deaf community. Thank you
Thanks for sharing. I've never attended a deaf church service before. My church has a deaf ministry and I'm considering helping out in interpreting the worship portion.
I went to a deaf church on Easter Sunday and it's SO true about it being loud at times with the laughing, yawning/stretching lol. It was my 1st time so I was COMPLETELY shocked. Nonetheless, it was such a WONDERFUL experience 🤟✝️🤍
Thank you so much for sharing! What a blessing to be able to have this place as your church! There is a deaf church locally where I live but my signing isn't quite up to par so I'm afraid I wouldn't understand a lot of what is being signed but someday I'll go!
Thank you for watching! Our church always has someone voicing for the pastor so even hearing people who know little to no sign can still be included and understand what is being said. Maybe your local deaf church does that same thing?
This is so cute! I am very interested in American sign language n the deaf culture n videos like this continue to answer my questions slowly, but surely! I was surprised about a couple things y’all said, but that’s so neat! I’m also a Baptist n live in TX- n quick side note cause I’m curious- where do y’all live? Anyways, keep on making videos!❤️
My church isn't deaf but some Sunday's there someone doing sign language during Praise and Worship Songs I also like helping out with things on the computers & camera
I am was the place church in a Fairfax, VA the Holy Sprint Church and I has other church where in a Washington , DC called Baslica of the Shrine we have us is one interpreter there.
I absolutely love love love this episode. I have a question. I hope this is not a dumb question. But do deaf people still use TTYs? Since they have the capability to text. And what does your sign name mean?
Vardell Wilson Hi! We’re glad you enjoyed our video :) To answer your question, some deaf people might still use TTY but now there is texting, video chat like FaceTime, and VRS (Video Relay Service) such as Purple/ZVRS, Sorenson, Convo, etc. Nallely has had her sign name since she was little and was given to her but her first teacher. It’s the sign for “beautiful” signed with the letter “N” then “Y” for her name. My sign name was given to me by Nallely after about a month and a half or so of knowing her. It was a birthday gift and it is a “C” on my face and refers to my beard.
Hey! I am enjoying these videos- thanks for making them! Would you consider turning the music down on future videos, or having no music? I am finding it distracting.
Really appreciate the honest feedback, Rosalie. We're definitely open to making changes to our videos especially if it makes the viewing experience better. Glad you're enjoying the videos and we will keep this in mind! :)
My religion is not a Baptist I am a member of the church of Jesus Christ of ladderday saints. But I found this very informative and I loved learning a little bit about your church.
WOW! We definitely don't do that lol We hope to get custom CC posted to each of our videos so things like this don't happen. Thanks for the heads up! :)
I love that God's word can reach all walks of life!

I love this!!! I’ve always wondered about a deaf church. My community doesn’t have one but would love to visit one someday
