I have been looking into starting a Hercules line fir myself! Them long reach ratchets look like they are auctually Long Reach! Unlike most with a giant body and a short 6in long head lol
Thanks good sir. So far so good. My shop has a policy that if any tool is broken or damaged during the repair of a work project then they will replace it with the same tool. So I figure the three year warranty on Hercules brushless tools covers most and anything after that my work takes care of it. Doesn’t make me want to spend a whole lot on the tool truck haha.
@lifein207 hell yea you can't best thay deal mate! Thats wicked sweet! My work replaces any damaged or broken tools aswell! But, I'm my own boss 🤦🏼♂️🙄 so that's not always a fun time lol! But yea I do be sittin on the picket fence about them Hercules tools! I was at the store yesterday and they had a Bauer set of impacts, ½ & ⅜ for a total of like 50 bucks between the 2 they were open on the clearance rack! I almost got them, but didn't wanna spend double that for 2 batters and a charger then ontop of it. The Hercules I think on sale with a 20% coupon I could gwt the long reach I wanted and a charger/battery for like 60 bucks! Can't beat that eith a stick!
As someone who is also new to the forklift industry, I'm always interested to see what other people in the industry have and are using. Thanks for the tour!
Nice setup man, my grandpa always taught me to clean all my tools after every job... helps with not losing them also, if theyre all gathered up to be cleaned.
yeah....but... Your grandpa didn't have to work on metric stuff.......and the dreaded 10 mm. Have a great weekend! What projects are you working on next?
@jaseswinconos Both of mine did too, I have a dollar store tray that everything goes into before it hits the box. Taking care of the tools and not abusing them is why it have tools from both grandfathersbthatbare nearing a century and still look and work great...
Sweet tour man! BIG Congrats on the long line of chips! Looks like someone's enjoying the better half of life! GodBless ya there brother! Thanks for the wicked tour!!
Thank you! Most of those chips are months up to the big year. Now it’s yearly chips. I’m 17 months sober from alcohol. Enjoying sobriety and in the process of becoming a leader in my recovery community to give back. I’m a firm believer in Jesus and I couldn’t have done it without him.
Fantastic, well organized setup! I also always clean my stuff before I put it away, I never want all of the dirt and grease going in my box. I have a US General 42” cabinet that I absolutely love, it’s the best box I’ve ever had. The biggest fail on my part was not buying the top box for it. I was in HF last week looking at what might be available but I haven’t found it yet. Mine is gen 2 so I will have to watch MP probably. I was looking at the box you have and decided it was probably ideal for exactly what you are doing with it but overkill for my home shop. I also have two of the little, one drawer, roll about carts that I’ve found very useful for specific tasks. One has all of my air tools, impact sockets, tire chucks and such. The other one is supposed to be for parts and fasteners but I recently wired my shop and garage so it has electrical parts and tools on it currently.
Thanks for watching. I currently have craftsman and husky boxes in my home workshop. If I ever get a full garage I’ll be upgrading to the same setup for home that I have at work.
@@lifein207 I just don’t think I need that big workspace at home. It makes sense to me these days to have the computer right there but it doesn’t seem necessary at home. Also for me I don’t need everything to be in one place. I have my air cart, my cordless stuff is all in a Snappy wall cabinet, each workbench has a set of wrenches, etc. just looking for a bigger top box because my little Proto that I bought when I was 19 is way too full and I didn’t think that would happen.
Nice setup homie. I have a taste for more expensive tools but it looks like these tools are putting money in your pocket and food on your table. Rock on!
It’s ever expending as sometimes I find tools that make life easier. Or I want a special tool that the shop provides but I want a better version of it. Thanks for watching.
I wish we didnt have a height restriction in our airplane hangars. I want/need a side locker. I bought the 56 and the side cabinet in gray also, so badically a trailer park version of yours. There was some substantial price savings doing it that way...just not the most fluid option.
We have 3 very large work benches in the shop one is off to the left of my setup. Use it daily. Has a giant vise on it. Old school heavy duty tables. Thanks for watching!
I always believed a toolbox holds tools, the tools do the work and make you projects or money. I too have a hodge podge of companies. From new tools to 100+ year old tools..
Cool to hear the Hercules line is treating you well. I don’t see many professional techs using that brand. Solid setup! 🤙

your a smart guy for not selling your soul to the truck vultures

Thank you! Trust me those more expensive tools are tempting haha.
I'm in the electric/IC forklift shop and have been looking for a toolbox tour from someone else in the industry. Thanks!
It's a humble set up for sure and it was a great video!! Luckily, you're a fork lift mechanic and don't need a warehouse of different tools lol

I'm about to go to Walmart right now
Do you have any work benches or in the case that you would need a work bench?
