In the heart of beyond myself,
I an blessed by Selma Blair.
My life experience relates to her on so many levels, from early childhood into adulthood.
In her testimonials, by her inherent dignity of being human, in self perceptiob, Selma Blair expresses such vulnerability - my heart fills by neighborly love for her.
The joys & sorrow of her life, - however the deep unearned suffering, does all have relational to my life experience.
It's touching that living past the pain, in that I relate to having feelings of shame, - and trying to please others in normal human relating, however - sometimes impossible to please someone who can be demanding.
In the defensive process, the formation of self reproach to try to explain such horrible treatment, yet know in the heart it had not been deserved.
It's only generlized in my comment, however I hope this expresses how come I love Selma Blair in neighborly love.
Good blessings of God blessed just peace in hopes of you sre doing well.

My best friend Bernadette had MS when I met her back in the 90s, and although it was in remission then she still had a hard time, She lived on the Main floor of the house I had rented the top floor, we became quick friends and being so much alike as our star sign Taurus we had much in common especially the stubbornness but we had so much fun together, This girl loved to dig her heels into work, gardening etc. one time she borrowed my father's electric hedge trimmers and did the whole yards hedges as she loved gardening and getting dirty lol, It came a time when her family wanted her to move closer to them as she did and she moved to Brock ville from here Niagara Falls Ont. I knew I wouldn't see her, but we kept in touch via the internet, things progressed for her physically in 2015 and by the following year she had become wheelchair bound I knew what that would do to her so I wasn't shocked when she told me her new doctor was going to perform the first medically assisted suicide in our area!!!! She called me the day of, and we were online via skype and I have to tell you this was one tough moment as I said goodbye to her online as doc did the taken of her life!!!!! This took me some time to get over, I was selfish and angry, and it was the first and only time Il ever know or see anyone have the choice to take their life like this!!! It was difficult even though I knew she felt non-human anymore as she told me if she cannot do the things, she loves she feels already dead!!Thats the taurus in her stubborn and independent. Il never forget her Strength and courage and what a fine human being she was. RIP Bernadette Aubertin, I miss you xo

At least she was able to go on HER terms. How heartbreaking, but to be her friend to the end is wonderful.

This would be so much better if we could just hear from Selma without the dramatic way the interviewer is asking and talking 😫

Is this interview AFTER the treatment and BEFORE DWTS? I am confused about the timelines. She looked great on the show but this interview seems to have been prior? I need to know if her treatments helped?

It did but she still has issues from time to time. Plus, the dancing actually seems to being helping her MS.

I’m surprised that Selma still suffers from those spasms in her body and voice. I thought the stem cell therapy would have done away with this. She also mentioned problems with her balance. All problems she had before her treatment. Maybe someone could explain why this is occurring. Don’t get me wrong I admire Selma for having the courage to deal with this disease and the impact it has on her daily life.
