Industrial Trash Warhammer Terrain In 1 Hour
HTML-код
- Опубликовано: 15 авг 2024
- This is another one of my trash to terrain videos but with the 1 hour goal. In this one I make a sci fi generator using trash to make some easy and cheap industrial terrain! This is a great bit of industrial warhammer 40k terrain.
Do I make it in one hour though?

I Just bought these yesterday to make the exact same piece, sort of 😁👍. The gum is for my kids and the packaging is for dad
Heh I'd be sneaking a bit of the gum!
I think they look fantastic! You really did a great job of making and painting them Jay. Thanks for sharing this.
Thanks, I do really like them, I wish I added more details to the concrete one as I think that would have made it considereably better, but I am pretty happy overall!
I've been binging your videos and really enjoying your ideas after getting back into 40k 👍 keep up the good work mate!
Thank you very kindly and good luck and welcome back into the hobby :)
Great timing! I'm very slowly going through one of these to make a build but now it looks like I need one more, and I definitely like the look with the duct thingies, might go for this instead of my previous and far more elaborate idea
Heh I know the feeling of elaborate ideas, I very much over think everything before trying to settle on simple.
One thing I have discovered on these is how to correct a problem and mount them to formcore at the same time.
Mine are all kind of squeezed in at the middle, so I made some foamcore squares that fit inside the gum cases that pushes the middle part out to make its sides straight, then i glue the squares to the base board and put the glue inside the cases to hold them onto the upright squares to mount and straighten them.
Oo nice idea, I've done stuff like that on other builds but I think this would help here to make sure there's less gaps and stuff as well!
That turned out well!
Indeed, simple idea but very effective.
Good job mate! Gonna have to get some hubba bubba tomorrow
Not healthy but tasty at least for like 5 minutes before the flavour goes!
The #5 recycling symbol means its Polypropylene! Good classic build mate!
How do you know this? Like please tell me you have a good reason to pay attention to this stuff? Otherwise I am going to feel a bit silly not knowing!
And I love your channel by the way! I am just lazy and never comment. Thanks.
@@TerrainMadeEasy Haha! I had been looking for all the sources of polystyrene a few weeks back to use with plastic glue, it uses symbol #6. Since then I've been hyper focused on the recycled symbols. Cheers!
@@KnarbMakes Heh if you didn't do youtube I would be suggesting you had a strange hobby :P
Nice work mate. I'll keep an eye out for the hubba bubba. I found a video earlier that could be really usefull for terrain building, is a rust painting method using acrylics. Its by a really skilled model builder called lincoln wright. The video is quite long and detailed but the method could be a fast way to get a really good result
Good luck :)
A classic build well presented. Nice job bud
Thank you very kindly :)
@@TerrainMadeEasy anything that is an excuse for a grown man to by hubba bubba must be good :)
@@BrushQuill also fun to say
Got me hooked on sci-fi gyrator!
Now we know what the 'D' stands for in R2D2.
@@adrians2190 ahhah man)))
This man knows it. Dirty droids.
@@adrians2190 ok))))) never trust a machine) espeshially droids))) but you can trust a Rat) yes yes))))
Thanks :)
Thanks for the shout out mate !
Cool build !
heh no worries, happenstance that your's is one of the only others I have seen on youtube and ofc you have great details etc.
I like the plasma. Looks good and it's something I feel even I can achieve!
heh you've nailed the whole premise of my channel! Thanks :)
I just went out a got the materials for this. Gum is available in UK from a Tesco Express (candy aisle end cap) for £1 each and the tube is £5.76 from B&Q
Heh yes, it's not super expensive at all. The tube maybe a bit pricey but I wanted something you can buy.
@@TerrainMadeEasy Thanks for the great videos mate!
@@leesmith2045 100% my pleasure :)
Wow! You sure can do a lot in a short amount of time! Those look great!
It's very stresful to try these though!
and thanks :)
great video, cool packaging is such a hobby lifesaver
For sure, a lot of it is unique to specific products that you can't often replicate, but this I feel is like a pringles can, most people can get it.
The pp symbol means its poly propeline (I've probably spelled that badly...) pp is a harder plastic but still bendable.
Yes, I have been told it is Polypropylene, but if people want to leave it on, they can but I jst felt it would take me out of the moment
These look awesome. 45 minutes a piece is not bad at all! Want some for my table now need to find some gum 😬😬
Pretty common in UK, not 100% certain about other places but good luck and thanks :)
Hey nice peces! Great video! I think i can't get this gums here un Spain .. i should try to look for others one ;)
Yeha I think it's pretty common!
There's the same kind of gum with the same container with different brand in probably all supermarkets, I bough one on Condis just a week ago precisely to do this kind of build (still working on the gum slowly as I'm not much of a gum eater anymore), so check by the cash registers, you definitely can get them in Spain!
@@jherazob Yeah they seem pretty common around the world, which is nice :)
Yaaaaaaaaaay new video!!! :)
Heh I am going as quickly as I can :)
@@TerrainMadeEasy Keep up the awesome work!
@@ryeanchan I will try :)
Is there any simple and cheap way for making wooden/ metal boxes (for exaple crates with weapons inside)? i really need to make some for my space marine armory
I have thought about this a fair chunk and I think thebest way is to fake it and cover them in a tarp. I think I will do it at some point. Sorry!
cool poorhamma guide) that is why i bougnt hubba bubba) yes)
I quite like the taste as well!
@@TerrainMadeEasy ) i prefer tangy tropical))
@@ratrattuson3034 Hmm I am a bit obsessed with the cola version
@@TerrainMadeEasy cola version? ooh man) look forvard taste it) yes yes)
@@ratrattuson3034 Yarr, it's great!
On 4:20 he said His “Pipe” 4 cms wide 👀👀
The real thing is obviously much bigger......okay I am lying!
It's hubba bubba here too
Nice, happy it is common enough :)
Tube makes tubes! Nice.
Need to look some of them out!
Ah, WD40 now does even more! 😂
Stickers had always bugged me, so I am happy this works.
45 minutes a piece is alright.
Indeed, they look decent for it
Would have been within the time limjt if u just did one lol
Yeah for sure!
Please for the love of God use a lighter fluid to take off sticky labels
I don't own that :)
@@TerrainMadeEasy you can buy petrol lighter fluid anywhere you can even get it in a pound shop of course that's if you're in England
@@ifeyecouldpaint is it really that much better than wd40? like it came off pretty easily
@@TerrainMadeEasy it's 100% Better 'i,e' you can get the label off in one go it evaporates without leaving any residue on the plastics even helps getting sticky labels off cardboard boxes fabrics. WD-40 is better for removing sticky stains from fridges cookers mirrors shower heads and keeping them clean
@@ifeyecouldpaint fair enough
