They've made multiple crossovers, such things need to be very cleared out between the companies doing it so that they follow the deal they have made without complications. If they don't do this, they will very much be able to sue each other. They will need lawyers for both making the deal and to protect themselves.

Yeah genshin has issues, but they announce the odds of being able to get items and while yes there is powercreep, there is no pvp aspect like arena and if you save enough for a character and you get them, you can actually use them for a long time They're both bad to ftp players in different aspects
I played both, and atleast in genshin i can still use my favourite characters in all contents after 3 years while i cant say the same for CRK at all...

@Shreggy there are a lot of options other than just "kill the cashcow" that brings them money well for at least 3 years now, not talking about OMGTHEYWILLDELETROVENBREAK. They won't. Their high management should have made better decisions and deliver better optimization, content (most of decor cost gems, even something small as plants!, game modes that are playable and are interesting to replay, beast raids which nowadays have very scarce rewards), epic cookies who are PRACTICALLY USELESS since January. Choux and Street Urchin, I'm talking about them. Also when they add magic candies part of which are useless so only whales will buy them. Available content is very scarce and it seems that packages are too pricey for their value. There are tons of problems and bad decisions which led up to this litigation. As someone who plays for at least 2 years I noticed how things became worse, and I play frequently. This is not going too far, this is what they deserve, and highly unlikely that they stop developing kingdom and ovenbreak, because those are major projects

As a Korean player living in Australia as well, same here. I never knew the Korean CRK fanbase was THIS ruthless... my lord it's actually scary, they're a force to be reckoned with, I kid you not.
I feel like this is going too far. The playerbase already voiced their concerns and threatened to review-bomb the game, which is probably as far as I can accept. With a game as popular as Kingdom is, that would cause huge problems within. But going out of their way to sue Devsis just seems way too petty. It's too aggressive and destructive. Sure, a lot of weird things exist in the game, like locking the new statue behind a paywall and not being able to get Mystic Flour in standard gacha, but suing them is too much. Devsis already made a big list of QOL changes and offered quite a few pretty big compensation events.
It's related to a law in Korea that was passed March 2024, related to probability-earning items or whatsoever and that laws affects biscuits. It's really not that far considering something is illegal in-game (or so the screenshots and protesters says accordingly).
Well Devis did not disclose the probability for beascuits and that is illegal due to a law passed in Korea recently. The Korean fans are within their right to sue.

Because the gap between f2p and p2w players at the crystal jam mechanic is the level of the crystal jam,the ascension that gives bonus buffs, and the tedious amounts of requirement needed. At the awakening system, the only thing players have to keep in mind is the ascension itself and due to the low requirement of soul jam/prism needed comparable to mystic flour and the number of resources we can gain from gacha, arena, and rainbow shell, at this point, this can be bearable to us players. As for the reason for the existence of ancient+.... Let's just think of it as hindsight from the devs

As someone in a top 30 guild , i agree with this , i have spent a lot of money on this game and like it dearly, but how much money can i spend , like the new changes was just ancient+ with a trenchcoat , i thought we made it clear that we want it to be similar to Crystal Jam or Magic Candy with its own spin being fine , but they kept the gacha nevertheless + rerolling beascuits sucks , because you get nothing good and your mediocre beascuit leads to us to go from 4.2 billion to 3.5 billion which affects us a lot

I think the updates fine. The protests seem a bit wild. The only thing i can see being protested about and actually agreeing with is the paid decor. Decoration is a key part in kingdom and locking it behind a paywall is kinda crappy.
I feel like these people are forgetting about the menu where you can literally view the probabilities for rolling stats on beascuits. (Attuning doesn't need probabilities, it's just a 1 in 8 chance to succeed at attuning) They're also forgetting that Devsisters can't overhaul the beascuit system, make dragon lord dark cacao exactly how people want it, and optimize the game within 9 days, that's extremely unrealistic to expect from them. They've already tried their best to appease people with the little time they had to fix the update, they can't do everything all at once, and they've also said they're willing to take more feedback to further improve the beascuit system.

Devsisters has improved some way and downgraded some. The meta is much more stable and doesn't change every single update. The newer epic cookies are not that powerful and do not change the meta so we don't have to invest in them. The revamped the beascuit system and made it cheaper after hearing the community's openion (comming in the next update). They also added milestones to special gacha like the stormbringer and mystic flour gacha. They even have away stormbringer for free. I am 100% f2p and my kingdom is still very prosperous, top 200. But they took away restoned toppings and the arena meta is all about epic+ rarities. Ascending cookies is very difficult. And collecting life crystals and life jewels for crystal jams is a very long process which requires additional resources.

I feel like this is going too far. The playerbase already voiced their concerns and threatened to review-bomb the game, which is probably as far as I can accept. With a game as popular as Kingdom is, that would cause huge problems within. But going out of their way to sue Devsis just seems way too petty. It's too aggressive and destructive. Sure, a lot of weird things exist in the game, like locking the new statue behind a paywall and not being able to get Mystic Flour in standard gacha, but suing them is too much. Devsis already made a big list of QOL changes and offered quite a few pretty big compensation events.
It's related to a law in Korea that was passed March 2024, related to probability-earning items or whatsoever and that laws affects biscuits. It's really not that far considering something is illegal in-game (or so the screenshots and protesters says accordingly).
Well Devis did not disclose the probability for beascuits and that is illegal due to a law passed in Korea recently. The Korean fans are within their right to sue.

Because the gap between f2p and p2w players at the crystal jam mechanic is the level of the crystal jam,the ascension that gives bonus buffs, and the tedious amounts of requirement needed. At the awakening system, the only thing players have to keep in mind is the ascension itself and due to the low requirement of soul jam/prism needed comparable to mystic flour and the number of resources we can gain from gacha, arena, and rainbow shell, at this point, this can be bearable to us players. As for the reason for the existence of ancient+.... Let's just think of it as hindsight from the devs

I think the updates fine. The protests seem a bit wild. The only thing i can see being protested about and actually agreeing with is the paid decor. Decoration is a key part in kingdom and locking it behind a paywall is kinda crappy.
I feel like these people are forgetting about the menu where you can literally view the probabilities for rolling stats on beascuits. (Attuning doesn't need probabilities, it's just a 1 in 8 chance to succeed at attuning)
They're also forgetting that Devsisters can't overhaul the beascuit system, make dragon lord dark cacao exactly how people want it, and optimize the game within 9 days, that's extremely unrealistic to expect from them. They've already tried their best to appease people with the little time they had to fix the update, they can't do everything all at once, and they've also said they're willing to take more feedback to further improve the beascuit system.
Although I should said，they really should fix beascuit system at the very first day when beascuit system is official release，and check how to improve

Devsisters has improved some way and downgraded some. The meta is much more stable and doesn't change every single update. The newer epic cookies are not that powerful and do not change the meta so we don't have to invest in them. The revamped the beascuit system and made it cheaper after hearing the community's openion (comming in the next update). They also added milestones to special gacha like the stormbringer and mystic flour gacha. They even have away stormbringer for free. I am 100% f2p and my kingdom is still very prosperous, top 200. But they took away restoned toppings and the arena meta is all about epic+ rarities. Ascending cookies is very difficult. And collecting life crystals and life jewels for crystal jams is a very long process which requires additional resources.

As a genshin player and CRK player I find CRK 100x times better with rewards and giving players stuff but that’s just coming from a genshin player who gets 5 primos for doing a 10 hour story.
I miss playing Genshin, it's quite nostalgic
Limbus and reverse is like 200X times better than both, storywise and gameplay wise

Pls don’t tell me that what I understood is players are suing because they haven’t put an improving update, just play some challenges they give you like 300 gems per mission and that’s a lot if you play everyday or get gifts

Lmao.. I think they're gonna lose.. Think of it like beascuit are kind of additional relics or artifacts and those don't usually have transparency of probability. Look at other games if they state that their equipment, relics, or artifacts have a certain drop, it's clear that almost none of them discloses it😅😂
