I'm fomoing badly bros!!! good job landing the fish with that bird's nest hahaha I'm looking forward to getting Centerpin set up for the coming fall season... looking forward to see you guys soon!!!
With the Wallis cast, when u pull down on the line, keep ur fingers on the line until the float hits the water, if u let go of the line, then the line goes slack which causes a birds nest, with a centerpin, most backlashes come from slack line from casting or the spool spinning to fast when casting
"holding a centerpin makes me sore in a different way" lmao. i am pretty sure it is giving me athritis. nice to see you guys fishing the pins. once you master it you won't want to fish a bobber any other way. next up, chinook on the pin. get ready to hold on lol
@@BCFishingMajors lmaooo wait until you go to grab the handle and the fish runs and the knob hits your knuckle 12 times in 1 second. hurts so much haha and you have to keep fighting the fish.
Check out the videos from Danny Coleville of Coleville Outfitters. He has some videos that explain casting a centerpin. I went on my first trip here on the East Coast in New York state and fell in love with steelhead fishing and centerpin. Best advice is get out and practice casting as much as possible, the more I got comfortable with it the easier it was to get more distance.
be aware not to get a finger in one of the loops when your line screws up. Could be instantly nasty with a fish yanking out line. Better mainline perhaps would improve your experience.
the guy in the back casually hitting the bong enjoying the show!🤣
🤣🤣🤣
11:45 best deal on the market is that luhr jensen centrepin; Spins way better then the big names including Milner and other expensive ones like DG
