This is also why Unlimited Void is so important to the fight, which they mention too. no, what they mean is the amount of damage she takes is transferred. For eXample, gojo can survive his own punch but it would kill makima likely blowing her up. that would be transferred back and Gojo would blow up. Thats how the ability works.
to be honest I kind of understand why denji still liked makima even after he ate her and after what she did to him because to denji she was the first person to ever show him kindness
Also look at it this way; while Makima did kill most of his friends, it was only through her taking him in that Denji was able to build those relationships in the first place. Despite the outcome, Denji still has Makima to thank for giving him the opportunity to experience what life had to offer (even if the time he had with his friends was brief).

I havent seen the manga of chainsaw man but from just the show gojo was defeated by being sealed and not killed which gave me more of a diffuclty if any opponent trying to kill him and Makima can be killed so it kinda says alot

In all honesty Makima's "Bang" should not have been able to work on Gojo since Sukuna's Cleave and Dismantle which are basically similar attacks wasn't able to.
The result was deffinetly strange, I'm not sure of there is any definitive proof that she can't come back from having nothing to regenerate from, but other that, yeah, Makima's only victory options of victory were either 1. Gojo randomly becoming a victim of her contract, or 2. She used her little "bangs" to hit Gojo's head. They also made it a point that whether or not Infinite Domain counted as an attack or not, Makima couldn't escape infinite knowledge being forced into her head regardless.
I mean she can smell you from an insane distance away meaning her mind is able to process a lot of stuff. Also being able to remember erased concepts sorta points to her having some sorta higher dimensional mentality. Add into that her power being mental and soul related(ie gojo refreshing his mind would not just get rid of it) its fairly easy to say she could likely resist infinite void for a tiny bit as we know how much info it hits ya with as like 6 months of info within a certain time period that i forget so any character with a mind able to process an insane number of things would be able to simply not be effected as infinite info here is just code for a lot very fast. Also like since she can control dead things as well gojo cant even kill her minions and due to future sight she can just have her contracted devils break his domain from the outside then gang up on him. I could see the super 100 year spear that the angel devil can fire out able to bypass and oneshot gojo as that does like amplified soul dmg and its seen as a legit beam of light which should be faster then what gojo can detect and block and its likely that gojo cant block light either since its smaller then atomic.

I think its the fact that hollow purple is very big. She’s regenerating because of the contract, but she’s inside hollow purple so she gets erased again. When hollow purple completely covers her she’s basically gone.
The battle was good but I disagree with the results . Reason 1 They said Hollow Purple destroys everything and anything but Sukuna was too hit by that 2 times and even Hanami but their body regenerated . How can they regenerate but Makima doesn't . Reason 2 Makima getting affected by Infinite Void would basically tell you that Gojo in this battle accidentally killed the whole Japan population 💀💀 Reason 3 Angel has some broken powers but was never even shown . Reason 4 Makima would have aim for the head or basically blown him fully small shorts don't count . Reason 5 If we are using this fight saying both jjk and chainsaw man's japans are connected in this fight then both Makima and Gojo should be aware of each other in the first place and especially Gojo who is known and would be really popular . How and why would Makima not be aware of his Domain Expansion and have no counter to it ?! This would also tell you if she had no counter to it she would have warned him about her contract so he would've never used his DE in the first place . Reason 6 She literally is the Control Devil who creates rules above everyone and anyone so Gojo had no chance from the start . The Control literally changed taste buds of a devil and can take everyone under her control . I dont have enough information here, but Makima might have been trying to control and not kill gojo, thus a miscalculation on her part. 4. same issue as above, but unless his entire brain is destroyed he isn't dead. toji stabbed portions of his brain out but he came back. 5. moot point, other sorcerers have explained the counter to domain expansion is with your own, or preventing it in the first place. 6. they kind fo explained this by the fact that they merged worlds and knowing of his birth is a greater feat to the world than having earned control over time.

My thing is tho, is gojo even able to use hollow purple while hes in his domain? I dont think we've ever seen a sorcerer use their techniques while their domain is up straight up because their domain is a technique. Like sukunas domain passively has cleave and dismantle so he never uses it while in his domain. And when gojo uses his domain, he never whipped out a technique while inside.
Yes, they can. One of the biggest things about domains is the sure hit effect WITH their technique. Sukunas cleave and dismantle ARE techniques, techniques that always hit in his domain. Jogo was attacking gojo with fire and earth within his domain, gojo was just blocking the attacks in the traditional way. Mahitos whole domain revolves around his technique utilizing the sure hit factor not any passive effects. We've just never seen gojo use a technique withing his domain due to the passive effect of his domain making it kind of pointless cause he can just go up to them and kill them physically
Understand but gojos infinity makes it hard to kill him her finger gun is possibly the only thing in her kit that can kill him like they said. The moment he put her in his domain it was over.
So, here's the thing. Gojo and Makima are in different realms of power. The only way Gojo ever loses is if a) He randomly gets picked by Makima's redirection contract or b) he lets her use her full-body crush which requires a lot of setup and a willing sacrifice. I don't think there's a likely scenario where that happens. Chainsaw Man is my preferred manga, but honestly, Makima wasn't horribly out of character aside from the scream at the end. 99 times out of 100, Conquest ends up on a T-shirt. It just isn't fair.

The result was deffinetly strange, I'm not sure of there is any definitive proof that she can't come back from having nothing to regenerate from, but other that, yeah, Makima's only victory options of victory were either 1. Gojo randomly becoming a victim of her contract, or 2. She used her little "bangs" to hit Gojo's head.
They also made it a point that whether or not Infinite Domain counted as an attack or not, Makima couldn't escape infinite knowledge being forced into her head regardless.
I mean she can smell you from an insane distance away meaning her mind is able to process a lot of stuff. Also being able to remember erased concepts sorta points to her having some sorta higher dimensional mentality. Add into that her power being mental and soul related(ie gojo refreshing his mind would not just get rid of it) its fairly easy to say she could likely resist infinite void for a tiny bit as we know how much info it hits ya with as like 6 months of info within a certain time period that i forget so any character with a mind able to process an insane number of things would be able to simply not be effected as infinite info here is just code for a lot very fast. Also like since she can control dead things as well gojo cant even kill her minions and due to future sight she can just have her contracted devils break his domain from the outside then gang up on him. I could see the super 100 year spear that the angel devil can fire out able to bypass and oneshot gojo as that does like amplified soul dmg and its seen as a legit beam of light which should be faster then what gojo can detect and block and its likely that gojo cant block light either since its smaller then atomic.

Last time I checked Mahito soul ability will kill Gojo if he touches him and active his ability, but due to infinity it will be useless.

I think its the fact that hollow purple is very big. She’s regenerating because of the contract, but she’s inside hollow purple so she gets erased again. When hollow purple completely covers her she’s basically gone.

The battle was good but I disagree with the results .
Reason 1
They said Hollow Purple destroys everything and anything but Sukuna was too hit by that 2 times and even Hanami but their body regenerated . How can they regenerate but Makima doesn't .
Reason 2
Makima getting affected by Infinite Void would basically tell you that Gojo in this battle accidentally killed the whole Japan population 💀💀

Angel has some broken powers but was never even shown .
Reason 4
Makima would have aim for the head or basically blown him fully small shorts don't count .

If we are using this fight saying both jjk and chainsaw man's japans are connected in this fight then both Makima and Gojo should be aware of each other in the first place and especially Gojo who is known and would be really popular . How and why would Makima not be aware of his Domain Expansion and have no counter to it ?! This would also tell you if she had no counter to it she would have warned him about her contract so he would've never used his DE in the first place .

She literally is the Control Devil who creates rules above everyone and anyone so Gojo had no chance from the start . The Control literally changed taste buds of a devil and can take everyone under her control . Gojo may be the the stronger one here but Makima needs to be impressed by him and feel inferior to him but they added that whole thing about "Gojo keeping his mind fresh and her control would break" thing out of nothing . If that is a thing then Gojo should also be able to adapt to everything or anything thrown at him more then once but he doesn't adapt to anything . Keeping his mind fresh is for his Infinity to work 24 hours automatically not in other ways .

If I am wrong please correct me with stuff .
1. It has to destroy all your cells, which he chose to do after seeing her regeneration.
2. incorrect, UV is not perceived as an attack, imagine walking on a planet with 3x gravity. is it attacking you? no it just exists that way and you are in the wrong place. this means she cannot process the idea of transferring the damage and cannot since it isnt exactly damage. and thus she cant process the hollow purple damage.
3. I dont have enough information here, but Makima might have been trying to control and not kill gojo, thus a miscalculation on her part.
4. same issue as above, but unless his entire brain is destroyed he isn't dead. toji stabbed portions of his brain out but he came back.
5. moot point, other sorcerers have explained the counter to domain expansion is with your own, or preventing it in the first place.
6. they kind fo explained this by the fact that they merged worlds and knowing of his birth is a greater feat to the world than having earned control over time.

Because sukuna wasnt hit by hollow purple directly twice
1st hp was super far away and he "barely" got away
2nd hp was bomb styled so ofc he looked like hes got injury from a missile
Focused hollow purple balls like what he did in the video is supposed to atomize you, also stat buff in domain expansion is possible

This has nothing to do with what they say or any outcome but it’s wrong. A positive and a negative times together will equal a negative positive positive will become a positive negative negative will become a positive negative positive or positive negative will become a negative. And even then that rule may not apply all the time for a temple you can still have a negative number times a negative number will just become a bigger negative number. But the way they explain it will not work and still be a negative just a bigger form of negative.

My thing is tho, is gojo even able to use hollow purple while hes in his domain? I dont think we've ever seen a sorcerer use their techniques while their domain is up straight up because their domain is a technique. Like sukunas domain passively has cleave and dismantle so he never uses it while in his domain. And when gojo uses his domain, he never whipped out a technique while inside.
Yes, they can. One of the biggest things about domains is the sure hit effect WITH their technique. Sukunas cleave and dismantle ARE techniques, techniques that always hit in his domain. Jogo was attacking gojo with fire and earth within his domain, gojo was just blocking the attacks in the traditional way. Mahitos whole domain revolves around his technique utilizing the sure hit factor not any passive effects. We've just never seen gojo use a technique withing his domain due to the passive effect of his domain making it kind of pointless cause he can just go up to them and kill them physically

Understand but gojos infinity makes it hard to kill him her finger gun is possibly the only thing in her kit that can kill him like they said. The moment he put her in his domain it was over.

So, here's the thing. Gojo and Makima are in different realms of power. The only way Gojo ever loses is if a) He randomly gets picked by Makima's redirection contract or b) he lets her use her full-body crush which requires a lot of setup and a willing sacrifice. I don't think there's a likely scenario where that happens. Chainsaw Man is my preferred manga, but honestly, Makima wasn't horribly out of character aside from the scream at the end. 99 times out of 100, Conquest ends up on a T-shirt. It just isn't fair.
