Negan is something else, alright! 😫😭😡 Kudos to the actor for the amazing acting! 💯 Our reactions to the rest of season 7 and episodes 1-4 of season 8 are now available over on our Patreon: www.patreon.com/ScribblesReactions
Even when unexpected shit happens Negan’s ability to reassess situations and stay calm is really quite impressive Even though this wasn’t supposed to happen he still knows exactly what he’s doing.
I personally love Negan as a character it's easy to forget how savage Rick was before meeting him but he's so entertaining and interesting I really love his moment with Carl when he realized he hurt his feelings
Fun (ny) Fact: I saw on Talking Dead that Jeffrey Dean Morgan wanted Olivia to really slap him for the real effect however she slapped him so hard it really startled him After the take she said are you alright and he and the crew just laughed😆
It's an old old story that he's told many times over the years... it never gets old, though. Ann Mahoney had never hit anyone on camera before, so she just assumed that she needed to really lean into the slap.. and she did - with much hilarity to follow.
Could you imagine if Abraham was still alive how great a one on one convo he and Negan would have Those two along with Merle have the best one liners in the whole show It’s a shame we never got to see it.
Negan is such a charismatic villain. You hate him but cant help but laugh at him at times too. He brings a lot of what Merle and Abraham brought before with his colorful language. Its crazy because hes supposed to be an even bigger potty mouth. He curses A LOT in the comics. Practically every other word that comes out of his mouth is "f*ck" 😭 he is a watered down version if his comic counterpart, yet just as intimidating. Negan in the Comics was based off of actor Henry Rollins in appearance. Henry Rollins actually ended up auditioning for Negan, but lost out to Jeffrey Dean Morgan. Thats how good he is at playing Negan. He beat the guy Negan is based on for the role 😂 When his agent called him to tell him he is up for an audition for a big role on The Walking Dead, after hearing a little bit about the base description, he said "its f*cking Negan" and jumped on 😂😂
I really enjoyed this Negan centric episode We get to see just how sadistic egotistical and narcissistic he really is Combine this with his natural charm and understanding of human nature and you get a very bad and dangerous guy He looks at someone and figures out how to use them for his own ends It’s interesting that he sees something in Daryl and Carl both that he respects Probably because everyone else is too afraid of him to ever dare do resist Great reactions Vera And Blanky.
Negan genuinely took a liking to Carl and seemed to be trying to groom him like a prodigy him being Rick’s son is probably a bonus too taking him and making him his own son Carl has a dark side but has come through it after the prison. Negan killed our boys Glenn and Abraham and is messed up on how he sees things but has a weakness for kids especially one like Carl Carl’s punishment was an actual song.
Negan is a master manipulator He’s charming and charismatic but he’s cold and calculating He’s a snake with two heads He’s got a twisted sense of what he believes is the true path He’s an interesting character to watch because you love and hate him but you can’t keep your eyes off of him.
Comic Comparisons : Everything That happens in the Sanctuary (Negan’s compound) is almost line for line scene for scene ripped straight from the comics Everything was done so well Carl lighting up Saviors the iron scene Carl unwrapping his face the singing In the end Negan does go to Alexandria but not the way it is in the show. In the comics Negan hands Carl back to Rick unharmed Negan comes back in a few days to collect his offering. The scene with Rosita and Eugene doesn’t happen in the comics.
While the Governor’s true evil colours where unbeknownst to the residents of Woodbury the Saviors are very much aware how Negan is like and they fear him The Governor was a politician Negan is an emperor.
Found the only 2 people on the planet who care about Tara apparently 😂 Who would want that garbage episode 6 over this absolute classic! Give our boy Negan a chance!

Negan obviously enjoys killing and violence, but he does it only when it's necessary for the system he created
Could you imagine if Abraham was still alive how great a one on one convo he and Negan would have Those two along with Merle have the best one liners in the whole show It’s a shame we never got to see it.

Judith is spending time with uncle Negan. Today he’s holding her and before you know it he’ll be helping her with her math homework🤷🏼♂️😂
🤣
You, sir.. you win the internet - well done. (slow clapping).
Underrated comment
Haha maybe one day but I doubt it

Negan wears glove I believe to protect his hands from the bat
Negan always struck me as an angry, broken little boy; and this episode showed it, in my opinion.
He ia the villian i want to be, dangerous but chill
😂❤️
Thats my fav

Jefferey Dean Morgan is a great actor and makes us hate him in this series. Then tries to make us forgive him...haha
