Wish there was an evaluation like this for USA shopping.

And for Australia…we get royally screwed for shipping, which has tripled in the last year or so.

Great fabric shops, Tammy - I recently came across Pound Fabrics and have been happy with what I’ve had from them. But mostly I order from My Fabrics or Minerva. In the North here we have Abakhan, who sell all sorts of fabric and some even by weight!

You are so fortunate to have a fabric shop like Pound Fabrics from which you can get cheaper fabrics, especially for toiles and people with financial stress. We don’t have anything like that in South Africa. Wish they delivered here. Even with the import fees and shipping costs and the bad exchange rate, it may cost less. Also, I like the variety in the stores

Thanks Tammy. International shipping policies would be useful here too. My fabrics and pound fabrics won't ship to Ireland, i believe. Its so frustrating to browse a wonderful website and then discover they dont ship to you.

Hello Tammy I like your channel I love sewing but the lack of space here in my apartment prevents me from doing small sewing projects. I had started a project to make a short sleeve orange sweater but due to lack of space I gave it up but I love looking at what you do and it's very pretty. I have a challenge to ask you, Have you ever sewn with corduroy. Otherwise it would be fun to see you do a project with this type of material. I encourage you to continue and I love it. Good day ! 😄

I have sewn with corduroy before and absolutely hated it haha! It's a fabric that can get very messy once cut and all the fibres shed everywhere!! I have seen some gorgeous Corduroy jeans though and would love to try again 🤣

Omg! Your yellow fabric that you bought 😍 gorgeous. so can you sew over the sequins? 🤔

Not a problem at all. If in doubt go slow n switch up to stronger needle for sense sequin. May need to manually move the needle when it's stuck to prevent snapping the needle

So sad that myfabrics don't sell to Ireland anymore. I do like the Driessen stoffen, their fabric is very cheap and quality is alright too.

Aaah! I didn't realise that! I have ordered from there in the past. I would love to know how many companies do sell outside the UK because I think pound fabrics is UK only too.

@@elaineforan4751 I'm sure you can check that info on their website under shipping section, or possibly contact them.
I haven't ordered anything from the UK simply because of the hassle, I usually order from Germany or the Netherlands and Google translate the website.

@@elaineforan4751 pound fabrics is UK only, I just checked.
There are a couple of fabric stores in Ireland, but I find them a bit pricey tbh.
