I have done my 12 from St Xavier's convent school ... There were some Christian students who were financiallly very strong but they had to pay only half of the fees ... Whereas a driver's son had to pay full fees.... And there were some cases where when a Christian student did something wrong he/she was told... That this should not happen next time ...go... And on the other hand a local student was even suspended for 3 days for a mistake that nobody knew that he even really did it or not.

These types of universities and colleges are responsible for religion conversion in India most of them support these types of practices in India. In agriculture education also SHUATS allabhad is also doing this type of practices.
Please don't say unnecessary thing without knowing the facts. I saw lot of wrong comments here. 70 , 75 pc in 10+2 never get a seat in st. Stephen college, be it ST or Christian. Iam an st and i score 75 pc, but i couldn't get admission in North campus. If a student get 80 pc - 90 pc, and he belong to ST, then he/she may have chance. If 70-79 pc students get a chance for st. Stephen then st. Stephen will be filled with North East and south people which is not. Scoring 70-79 in 10+2 is not a rocket science, even from Manipur alone every year more than 1000 students get 70+ pc. Do they get admission in St. Stephen? A big No. Just one or two student get an admission. Don't spit anything without knowing the reality.
