Who knew? Putting the sanding pad in the lathe! Sometimes the obvious is so easy to miss, thank you for the video, nice to get both ideas and tutorials.
Shay, although I don't regard myself as a beginner I still found that useful, you have a knack at getting to the nub of the matter. May I ask what sort of price you would then charge for a wand? I'm about to start trying to sell things but don't really have a clue what to ask - especially for the small stuff.
The way I price everything Mick is cost to me plus an hourly rate. I sell the wands at €15 as they are quick to do and I make them from offcuts so cost is minimal. Shay.
Thank you for passing instruction to all turners. Something new to try.
You are welcome Alan.

Nice one Shay, I’ve got lots of 1.25 x 1.25 about 16” long, now I have an idea on what to do with all that scrap. Take care, Wayne
That are a great little turning mate, if you want to do skew practice they are great for that.

You might want to watch how much you tighten the tail stock as if it’s too tight as you make the spindle thinner it could split.
Very true Victor.
