Well this hit the spot
None of that fonky chonky is going on here, more like some noodly woodly
Love your vids Daniel👌🏾👍🏾
Funny seeing you here piano boy
Danieeeel
Yeah. thats some of that **insert big horn noise here**
As a drummer, her solo was on the cusp of chaos, but it was all precisely calculated.
Agreed. Somebody's got to keep time. Accents are great, but not a constant diet throughout the tune.
It was amazing because she could completely let go of the time without wrecking the other two who are so tight. Most drummers don't do this because when they do things fall apart. Not chaos at all just unusual.
her drumming is crisp and clean and without fault, maybe she got the immaculate bit from Jesus
yeah, controlled chaos
caca
I love music where the pianist looks really excited and the bassist looks like they’re holding on for dear life.
Def one of my fav genres
YES
Drummer drives; everyone else rides.
Well you see if he wasn't holding on for dear life they'd make the arrangement harder. Such is the plight of the bass player.
As a bass player I agree
please watch the live version of desire by the hiromi trio youd love it
His speed, timing, and accuracy is incredible!
I am a 114 year old vampire from Romania and this has reminded me of childhood so much that I have gone back to impaling people and playing fugues on my organ
What?
God (or like the master of darkness?) Bless you Sir!
Good for you.
Nice
*Toccatas
Came for pianist, stayed for drummer
Me and you we share the same sentiments.
All these cats got chops...Roni reminds me of JD Beck, and Jesus is very good on keys.
I see
So in the pocket
Very accurate
How did that room not collapse while handling that amount of talent in 4 walls? what a drummer, the bassist is insane and we all know how awesome Jesus is
What a trio! Breathtaking twists and turns! Bravo to the drummer! Kudos go to the bassist! Full unabridged admiration to Jesus!
The pianist did really well too
@@simpslayer4204 right. Jesus is the pianist's name 😊
😂
It is not from another planet. He is a Latin American pride.
No es de otro planeta. Es un orgullo latinoamericano.
Grande maestro Jesús Molina.
Totalmente de acuerdo, hermoso comentario!
@@amadioscomedu8057 así es😊...
ouch man that drummer, is killin, sounds so tight!
Roni Kaspi she's a beast studying at Berkeley
Never got that good. She is excellent !!!!!
Respect from Tunisia 🇹🇳
Jesus must be one of the top musicians on the planet today
Never heard Night in Tunisia played at this pace, but it was stupendous. The bass and drums were phenomenal…Thank you!!
Song: "What time signature is this in?"
Jesus: "Yes"
Seriously did you manage to identify all of the time signature changes? If somebody did please share them
@@IL-saxophonist it alternates between 11/8, 4/4 and 6/4
That's an 11/8 and then a regular 3/4
Or a 6/4 and a regular 4/4 ( I meant)
When the 4/4 measure blows your mind
As an atheist, this is only time I actually praised Jesus.
Lmao love this
I love his playing... no offence, but gotta believe Christ is way better
Good one
You could try praising him for real and see what happens? It worked for me. :)

I just say this because I'm producing a commercial for the John Coletrain Jazz and Blues Fest in Greensboro Labor Day Weekend 2024. Jesus, was just added to the show and I had to add his music. The first track that came up was this. THIS IS MY DAD's TRACK ART BLAKEY...and I must say he did its justice. Hat's off to you young man, you did my dad proud!! EBlakey...
Unbelievable rendition of the night in Tunisia, I visited Tunis, Tunisia as a Navy Photographer in 1996, rich culture, loved it.
That sounds like a cool job, whats the most interesting thing you've experienced in it? Just curious as someone whow asnt even alive then
The concentration on the bass players face is amazing. So locked in
Jesús, I'm in love with your drummer friend. And the bassist. And you
‘’and you’’ hahahaha

nooooooooo.... NO TE PUEDO CREER, JESÚS QUERIDO!!! SOS EXTRAORDINARIO!! Y tus compañeros, maravillosos!!! un abrazo, te sigo desde Buenos Aires, Argentina,
This drummer is a beast.
drummer is out of this world
holy hell, this trio is amazing
Phenomenal group. Shades of Chick Corea. Drummer has Lenny White attack. She is very dynamic. Sky's the limit for this trio.
Possibly the most metal version of this tune I've ever heard. I was basically head banging to this, it was so succulent and to the musical point!
The bassist is beating the s¡ht out of the strings, and it's only noticeable in the transition to the drum solo hahahahaha I love it
thE SMILE ON jESUS' FACE....HE EXEMPLIFIES HOW MUCHjoy MUSIC CAN BRING
🎠🎻🧠💙🫂🥂☀️💛😘Genius Molina and band ❤
one of my favorite I cant wait
I like how their drummer has built on the Amen Break and has woven it into her playing. Syncopated and tight.
Huh? Apparently anything funky on the ride is now 'inspired by the amen break'
Syncopation wasn't invented alongside the Amen Break. Some syncopated drummers don't even know the Amen Break.
Mfw when any syncopation is inspired by the amen break
I love when jazz drummers have this massive old beasts of cymbals. They have such glorious dynamics
Its pure joy: what a trio - each their own strength in this arrangement.
like one of the best recordings ive ever heard. props to the three musicians and also props to whoever mixed and engineered all this
My favourite jazz instrumental. Really fresh interpretation. Fabulous work. Love pianist the way he's really enjoying it interacting with his colleagues. So expressive. People are at their best when performing music or rescuing animals. My humble opinion.
Three awesome musicians, brilliant performance. Thanks!
Gracias por ese solo de batería increíble! Hermoso arreglo en trío!
This was beautiful as a drummer I can really appreciate the time signatures and changes. Just awesome
That contrabassist looks in pain, definitely a night to remember xD
What an awesome bassline and time signature! Addictive!
It's wonderful seeing young people playing instruments, and playing them this incredibly! Gives me hope.
All of them are phenomenal . Impressive piano . Bass is killing it and drums is so on point . Amazing chops. And give it up to the sound engineer. Wow what a sound!
Young and already a genius! What a bright presence and future embracing the past as well. Marvelous :-)
I’ve watched this so many times, amazing!
Amazing "beyond"!! Just absolutely spectacular!! God bless you all three! this is extraordinary!! 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
Amazing. All three of them. God bless them.
I love this so much! Makes me realize how far I have to go to being a jazz pianist...
My favorite is how obvious it is that you enjoy what you're doing. Absolutely fantastic
Absolutely outstanding in every possible way.
Loved it, great players.
Thank you brother for this masterpiece.
You gave back the shine of our linda Tunisia!
Dizzy choosed the right country to create this music, he composed it even before visiting Tunisia !!
Wow! Absolutely fantastic.
Really cool take on this. I’ve always loved Dizzy Gillespie and Arturo Sandoval’s live rendition of this song. I first heard it in High School; it was my introduction to Sandoval, and I’ve been a huge fan of his ever since... Also a huge fan of Molina as well, obviously; how can you not be mesmerized by his playing?
holy crap that was awesome! this has always been one of my favorite standards and you guys pulled it off really well, love the energy from that young ensemble
¡QUÉ IMPRESIONANTE VERSIÓN DE NIGHT IN TUNISIA! ASOMBROSO. ME HE QUEDADO ENCANTADO. Grandes músicos, los tres.
Wow Jesus! Incredible!!
Oh my God! This is beautiful
Un clásico del jazz. Espero con ansias ver cómo lo reinterpretas.
I wonder about the few people who gave thumb down. Do have they ears ?
It's accurate, not already listened, fast, powerful.
It's the music I love. Thank you, Jesus and your fellow musicians ! 😀
Amazing! God bless you!
Probably the best thing I've ever heard in my life genuinely
The three of you have restored my faith in humanity....... incredible! :D

So glad this playing is being seen.
My brain is on fire from that rendition of a classic I only knew thru the vocal version. The justice done to some of our known classics is we never believe it can be done over. Thanks, great job and continued success.
beautifully composed and played... wow
Great TRIO!!!!!
THE DRUMMER MYYY GOOOOD
I am so glad you can still find quality music nowadays
Amazingly talent. a great Jazz pianist idol for me to learn. God Bless!
I can just imagine dizzy being absolutely blown away by this
Started listening to jazz in the 50's. I was 6 or 7. So lucky to grow up during that whole time and hear the greats!!! This brings back tons of memories.
Espero nos sorprendas como siempre lo has echo!! ✝️▶️
Фантастика!
Fantastic!
amazing! one of the best versions I ever heard performed with so much joy & fun
You are playing with some reaaaally good musicians! Keep it up!
You guys I've had this on repeat for weeks on Spotify and just found it here. This recording has massively rekindled my energy as a musician. I've never heard a better version of NIT. Roni, I travelled for hours to see you at Marciac where that Muppet only gave you one solo but you literally blew the room to pieces. I'll be following you all closely!!!
You three are fantastic! Thank you for helping to keep jazz alive and vital!
Amazing trio...!
Que bueno es saber, lo que puede hacer Dios, siempre darle la honra a Dios ❤️
THE DRUMMER WOOW🎉
Bravo to all of you! Enjoyed it very much.

Amazing!!
Holy crap! Amazing to the point of unbelievability. Jesus is incredible and the bassist and drummer are locked in with him. So tight. Bravo !
