#gundam #gunpla
Congrats to Cosmic Guardian for winning this kit. Before you ask about video quality it takes youtube anywhere from one hour to a few hours to render my full 4k files...
ItsAGunpla ayoo! Saw the movie last month it was *epic*. Good stuff dawg
I've been bouncing my house none stop! Senpai noticed me!
Real talk though thank you gundam! This baby will be a treasure!
what! did not know about the comp, need to be more out spoken because i would have been allover it like a fat boy with cake, or a coffin dodger with boiled sweets. all the best and all the love a multi year fan can muster. keep it up amigo.
Where’s the videos gundam? I need a video gundam!?
do you make money though bitchute? I watch your stuff on there because I want the platform to grow but I always come here to register the view. also, I've gotten a few people into gunpla through this channel and they find you quite amusing.
"A Gundam to put in an acrylic case and have on your Desk at work to show you mean business. Even though you watch anime."
Best quote I heard all day.
The paint scheme is freaking cool and deadly. I think you hit the mark. Awesome work.
I think the size difference between the sitting and standing pilot figures has less to do with the scaling of the kit being wrong and more to do with the original design not having enough space allocated to the cockpit for a full size human to fit.
logical explanation, Oh Channel 2S! I watch your videos lol
I've just finished building this myself. It was my first ever kit. Mine doesn't have any problems with it falling apart. I had a little problem putting one of the skirt armour parts on but it hasn't fallen off yet. Had so much fun building this that I went and bought 3 other kits, a full airbrush set up and a tonne of new enamel paints. Fucking expensive ass hobby. I'm doing so much overtime to cover the costs that I have no time to paint. Literally all I got done yesterday was preshading the shield of the RX-78 2 3.0. gf probably gonna leave me.
I put every fucking decal on this thing too. I see that you missed some out. The one for the V fin took me like 20 minutes to get it centred. Nearly lost it with that.
It's Io Fleming, not Leo. Like one of the moons of Jupiter.
🤓
If you built this right after building the Dynames, I can see where the rage is coming from, that kit is super solid, even more so after I magnetized the holster. (edited to say nice work on the paint)
Gundam. Love the work and info. Just finished my first 2 ever gunpla. The 00 Sky Riku's & shinning Break. Mr Drs had been telling me to find something to work my fine motor skills as I have a spinal cord injury. So having been a follower of both your channels my wife suggested did I give gunpla building a try. Again just wanted to say thank you for all your work and info. I'm heading to pick up a couple more to do my first custom paints as I do Custom Airbrushing
I’m so glad someone else hated those “plastic bags”. So stupid. I rage quit my build; when connecting the pieces inside the bags, I snapped the one arm peg, and basically had to super glue the arm of my kit on. Haven’t touched it since. And that was like 2 years ago.
You can just feel the jazz from that Model Kit
I love your aggressive shading on this kit (it’s very noticeable on the shields). You’re getting really good at airbrush so Jenic better watch out!
I like this ver ka other except for the fact that the elbow joint is scrawny because they had to make space for the trash bag material, so it struggles holding its arms up (painting helps but it’s still heavy).
Beautiful and for some unknown reason now I enjoy listening to reviews of Gundams very well done sir
Gundam base start to look great👏👏 and the Lil models give life to the diorama👍 it's great to see it getting better and busier. Hope you gonna hire more of these Lil plastic men to work in it👍😉 great and honest review keep up the great work
Totlly agree
yea I feel your pain I got mine in December and while trying to pose it its shoulder peg snaped because of the weight of the beam rifle. I managed to glue it back into place but it's safe to say I'm, not touching the kit ever again, btw your paintwork is amazing
dont feel bad gundam, i lost my exia avalanch's thumb when i was building it. it shot off when i was taking off one of its beam sabers. my friend found it behind my bedroom door a couple weeks ago when we were looking for an LED screw that i dropped. i dont even know how it flew that far.
The absolute madman you actually painted that beast! 😱😱👌👌
*Your build is MONEY 💸💰💸 bro*
Awesome as always. Btw, I’m gonna be sending to you a cool accessory for your hobby tools! 😎Hope its aight with u
Feel free, I am waiting for your next video btw.
Lol Ima have to check out the Thunderbolt anime now that intro and your take and pallet choices are epic been waiting for this vid its badass Papa G and the teal is the cherry on top an sets it off
It's free on RUclips from gundaminfo
The manga is fantastic too
Pulse01 too true, the manga is nothing short of a masterpiece in my opinion, the art is INSANE, The story is great, the characters are fun and great. Overall I highly recommend it if you love manga/or gundam
Love these reviews and thanks for inspiring me to paint my gunplas. It's crazy to see how your transition in painting these are getting soooo fkn great.
I feel grateful that i can actually pilot this magnificent Gundam in GBO2 on ps4 console. So spectacular
This kit is on my backlog. Bought it last year and still haven't build it. Your painting is awesome looking!
Fluffy: I'm about to end this man's whole career.
Gundam: Fluffy no!
Might be your best work yet. Preshading is more subtle which looks amazing. Gun looks real. Amazing work all around bro 👏🏼
This is the realest review of a gunpla I’ve ever seen LOL I like it
Another amazing job man. Your kits always inspire me to want to start painting my kits.
The funny thing is, my experience with this kit was phenomenal. I only completed the build yesterday, and I plan on dismantling it to take care of the armor (meaning the joint covers were not put on yet), but I had absolutely zero issues with it in terms of build. Also, I have been able to get the missile pods on the side skirts to flip back around, it's just a little finnicky at times
Nice work! And that hangar bay... glorious!
Grats dude. This is so cool. Beautiful.
This thing looks absolutely beautiful and menacing. Wish you could paint the Psycho Zaku as well, I know it's a huge kit but I'd like to see your take on it
I have one, but everything hangs on time and if I want to do a new kit to boost interest in my channel.
Beautiful looking MS... I love the Thunderbolt series and I wish to see some more of it in other animes.
Everything Gundam does or says is radiant entertainment!
I'm about to attempt this build next week and will be painting it too! : P
Just figuring out which colour paints to order, wish me luck!
I'm not caught up on all the series of Gundam but that is one sexy evil beast. It is like a bastion of death.
The colour scheme is stunning
This one sounded like a pain in the ass. Still very impressive though.
I'm still convinced when I get to building mine. I'm just gonna leave the bags off
Dont
The core fighter was for the most part only shown in the manga. You don’t really see it in the anime.
That painting is godamn sexy for sure
People keep calling you Gunpla's Bob Ross but I think you also have a little of Bill Burr in you kkk
I'm loving your videos. Keep up the good work
The paint scheme reminds me of Phase Shift armor when it runs out of power. SEED may have been garbage in execution and I heavily dislike the presentation, but it did have some interesting concepts and cool mech designs.
Hell, it looks awesome with your paint job, got that grim end of the line look about it, even without the weathering. From what you said, sounds like it suffers from expensive action figure syndrome, pretty to look at, but not worth a damn in the articulation section. At least you can say you made a good looking kit and gave it to someone who'll cherish it, and it'll probably look bad ass on their own desk or flat surface of their choosing.
That's beautiful. Not gonna lie. I like the colour scheme
Don’t know shit about gundems but I’m enjoying listening to you talk about it bro. The passion is obvious, much success to you.
THERE'S A GUNDAM DOWN HERE!
I like to smoke a little and watch these. It's something I dont know anything about and I love to learn. Can't tell you what I've learned (🤣🤣) but I know I had a good time . Thanks Gundam 🤓
Wake n bake
I do, with you, everyday! Lol!
It's only at 360 right now & it looks like it was shaped by the hand of God, at 4k it'll look so good I might see the light and pass into the afterlife
I built this a while back. One of those long, rectangular back thrusters is clearly out of angle with the other it irks me a lot. Finicky kit, as most of the ones I have picked up are. Probably best when paired with the Display hangar expansion (official or not), just to stop any worries about posing and stability.
only here to support you
Love your work in both building and other channel.
Glad to hear about the flimsy aspect. I don't recall any reviews touching on that like you said.
Thanks for the in depth review Gundam. Your right most other gunpla channels only really ever mentioned them having loose joints because of the weight but never really mentions pieces falling out. They also only really mention the plastic bag design being cool but not how horrendously shit it is working with it.
I'm guessing no Psycho Zaku build then huh?
I took the stand that came with this kit and filled the arm and base voids with clear epoxy and that stiffened it right up to where it holds it without issues..but if you don't reinforce it then he is right the thing will break eventually. Mine got stress cracks and turned white in other places almost immediately after I tried to use it so idk wtf Bandai was thinking..oh yeah I do they were being cheap.
im almost afraid to ask if we could see a psycho zaku sometime in the future.
First comment finally my notifications are working. Take that RUclips! Looks great even if fluffy robbed u blind. Lol
RUclips has been doing that more and more
My fiance built this thing, and it's a beaut. The biggest issue she has is that the clamps that grip the shields are loose for her. This was her 2nd kit she built years ago, and now its collecting dust lol. She asked me to pose it... I almost tossed this like Alinity
Damn you getting me back into Gunpla. The promo code helps though.
I’m so glad that someone else has the same opinion of this kit as myself. As awesome as it looks, the build was awful, and the plastic bags were so bad that I ended up not using them in parts of the legs. It’s flimsy, but looks cool. Overall I don’t think it’s worth the price because of the effort.
Interesting they wouldn’t include just another piece that you could slot in and have the core fighter out for display at the same time. Guess that could be scratch built...
Looks cool tho
Hey Big Papa Gundam! Long-time fan of all your channels!! Keep up the great luck!
I warned you on those plastic coverings, its a finicky kit because its a big kit with big plastic with very THIN frame
Lol, you can get this review out faster than mechagaikotsu. AND ITS PAINTED! gonna use clear acrylic nail polish on my right arm joints for that bug gat.
What sort of airbrush compressor do you use and any tips for using them, sometimes struggle with airflow and PSI
The core fighter does appear in a very short screen time when Fleming is piloting gm, it's what he used to escaped from Daryl's attack.
My Favourite Gundam, story too, wish there's a continuation. Damn the manga is on hiatus
I feel you on that I'm currently building one myself. It's taking me a little bit over a month maybe 2 months when I'm finally done with it. The paint Scheme I'm going for mine is that menacing look but I decided to go with the glacier blue with a white and then Scarlet Red for the little bit of the red and stormy blue for some of it. I'll probably use the black for the armor cuz I do like how that looks. But yeah you're right I'm also putting the decals on and dear Lord it is such a pain in the ass. And I don't know about you but I'm using Mark softener and set so it's taking me even forever to get it done.
Great job with the paint, but I can't take my eyes off of those decals.
I just discovered your channel and love your brutal honesty in your reviews. Despite the build, that is an absolutely stunning paint job. Love the more muted colour and shading. Keep up the great work.
Was not expecting the rage. I'll pass on building this if ever I have the opportunity.
Gundam👨always
🌿Galaxy Champion🌿
Let's👷go!
"Please nevermind the shaking in the background, that's just my dog."
Oh please stop lying. You WERE shaking.
I've built one of these kits myself and I can confirm the thing is kind of a hand grenade😐, I mean don't get me wrong it's a great-looking kit and I've been trying to get one for months but putting it together I had a pretty tough time, this is not a kit for beginners
hell yeah! A new showing presented with a new intro, looks awesome gundam
Great review! I’m building this one now, haven’t done yet, need to build the 4 shields still, but yeah I hate this kits! After 15yrs of building gunpla, this is the first time I hate an MG Ka kit lol
That was my first Gundam kit .
You just saved me some money and frustration.
It's a beast to look at but you've got to be kidding me if you were expecting it to be anything but the filmsy mess you described. I love thunderbolt but I'm not touching this kit with a ten foot pole. You did an amazing job though.
I think I might have made the right move by going for the High Grade kit... I don't want to imagine how messy this can get.
Man, I've gotta ask, what is that tone of blue called? I love it. I paint busts and minis, although gunpla always interested me. Looks like a really greyed-out prussian blue to me, I'd love to get my hands on it. Goes without saying, beautiful paint job.
Downloading this snack for later consumption, thanks Papa Gundam.
It looks amazing
man, my local gunpla just got this kit on discount, ... i'm not unfamiliar with 1/700. 1/72 military kit,but did you think it still worth to get it as my first kit, if i just want to get some thing quite big and interesting gunpla just to display ? . Also, i 'm not familiar with different stand , can you recommend which kind of stand should i get if i plan to do this kit ?
It's not the dog running in the background
It's the jazz playing inside the cockpit
It looks evil! An amazing paint job!!
As a gunpla noob with 0 experience I'm curious, is there a kit that's easy to pose and is sturdy? It seems most of the kits daddy gundam has are the opposite.
A lot of the newer Master Grades are really stable and posable I really like the recent MG GM kits that have come out in the last two years.
@@Giving50prcnt ah I see, so the kits he's reviewing say the past few months have been quite old in comparison to the ones you mentioned? Sorry if I seem dim on the subject it's because I am!
@Frasier Bell Some of the kits Gundam reviewed have been from this year but that’s not to say older kits aren’t stable or posable. For example the MG Sinanju Stein Narrative version that he reviewed came out this year but it’s actually an older kit that’s being resold with some new features and accessories.
Him: my dog is a happii dog
Also him : that damn dog!!!
The next time you hear Jazz...
yea, i looked at this kit and thought "oh hey thats really cool" then I realized thats its probably a fuckign nightmare to actually build, let alone paint.
also Gundam, how do you do the painting before actually building? Ive tried to figure out the logistics of that and maybe because i still need the instructions to follow along but..i dont see how thats doable.
I put all parts for models in ziploc bags (because i don't have the space) and have the seperated and labeled as follows. Right Arm, Left Arm, Torso, Waist, etc.
Absolutely gorgeous!!!!!!!!!!
Lovely statue.
Now here is a relly FULL ARMOR gundam lol
Really nice man
What did you use for the blue ?
That set of arm missile launchers looks suspiciously like my VF-171' arm launcher. Macross + Gundam for the overkill LOL.
Gundam should do psycho Zaku for a part 2 for this vid
Any chance for a commission lol. This is so beautiful. I just wish more Gunpla from Thuinderbolt was out. Like the Dom or the Amphibious suits.
Yeah bandai just have to make an mg acguy then a p bandai cyclops team weapon set
Your color scheme for your thunderbolt is perfect. What was the color pallet for this model?
Still can't find the scope for my RG Mark 2 beam rifle and it has been 3 months
Wow I didn't know you had a separate channel away from your main.... Great paint job! How long did the project take??
They should make a RG ver of this kit.
0:25 how did you get the arm joints like that?
How is the HG version? I really want to get this, psychozaku and atlas
Omg looks great
Could you let us know where I get this gundam base ?
