I always spend 200 bucks for every new gachas I start I fell in love with zhu and her design so I said oh hey look her banner is next, saved my 200 then rolled for her banner and snagged 4 of her so 3 cinema bonuses and said yep she's my main and snagged soukaku and also fell in love with anbys deadpan comedy and cuteness so wallah main team right there swapping soukaku for other supports as well
By miles my favorite character design in the game right now, and I luckily pulled Grace with my beginner banner. Saving every scrap for Jane Doe. I even dolphined for her. I already have enough, I cannot miss. Going to splurge on her W-Engine too! (Then I start saving for her rerun!)
Qingyi probably better cuz her core need a atacker and gives %60 stun multiplier so versatile you can use her with every atacker and %60 stun multi very good idk about Jane

Yeah, i somehow got like and got ellen in first 50 pulls, signature W-engine in 50 pulls, and lycaon in 80 in premium banner, so im set with guaranteed. Altough i have drained 90% of all pulls in patch 1.0 In standard i got Rina, Soldier 11, and S-rank W-engine of koleda

on the topic of qingyi as a better anby, it doesn't really matter which is better cus in the end you need 2 stunner for 2 team, and for players who don't get koleda or lycaon, qingyi's value is through the roof since stun is so damn important in shiyu defense that it's absolutely mandatory to have 2 stun built for all accounts. so in terms of future investment qingyi has highest value out of the 3 of the upcoming chars, that is if you don't lose 50/50 to koleda or lycaon
I'm in that situation: I got Anby and Rina on Azap, but I lost the 50/50 on the standard banner to a weapon. So I'm running Rina/Lisa/Anby, and the other side lacks a stunner.
yeah, i've got anby on one team and ben's on stun duty for the other team since i got grace from the standard banner. ben does fine and he's satisfying to use but i'd like a real stun unit if possible
Wanted to write the same comment. In the end, I think who spooks us will determine whether a character is worth or not. Zhu Yuan might not be a must pull meta wise if you already got Soldier and Nekomata, but no support/stun. Without any standard S stun, then Qingyi definitely is a must pull. As for Jane Doe, there are high chances she becomes ZZZ's Kafka, in which case she wouldn't be a mere upgrade over Piper. Right now, I'd love to get Koleda, but I also really want Qingyi, so Koleda spook would cause a huge dilemma
I think priority from biggest to least goes: 1. Zhu Yuan (fun mobile ether dps that’ll own that spot for awhile) 2. Qingyi (huge anby upgrade, does great damage as well) 3. Jane Doe (great if you want to focus on anomaly down the road, but Piper is already great)

It's tough when you see others get lucky. Remember your guarantee from losing the 5050 will carry over so you're only 90 pulls away. So... you might be able to Zhu or Qingyi first and then get Jane, depending on how many pulls you have.
Ans: Only pull for ZhuYuan because she's the only Ether dps and don't pull the rest because there's already A rank characters of the same role. Edit: Ellen is fine, only if u have Lycaon or else it's incomplete and there will be significant drop in DMG because from my testing, her DMG is slightly worse than Nekomata and Soldier 11 for solo fights but the utilities from Lycaon and Soukaku fixes that (strictly strong ice buffs but weak when not played together).
Totally. Piper is already so busted and way easier to max out due to her lower rarity. Anby is a little cause for discussion though, she's relatively clunky when compared to the S rank stunners and it might be worth it to some people to get an upgrade... Zhu Yang though, absolutely. We NEED the extra coverage she provides to our roster.
I love Jane and rats, so I am going for her! That said as you pointed out at the end of the video, I do have that wolf guy, so maybe Ellen would be more worthwhile than Zhu Yuan in my case? I don't know... To be honest in terms of that upcoming banner, I am more interested in getting copies of Nicole than I am Zhu herself, though she is good too!

My only S rank is Nekomata C1 (and Rina's engine). So I will be going for Zhu Yuan. The thing is I think I will go for Qingyi because my only stun is Abby. I skipped Ellen because I want Miyabi. (More know because Suikaku decided to follow me in the standard banner for some reason. C6).
I got Ellen on my first pull. then I got her W-Engine. I didn't got Lycaon, so sad :( so I pick Anby and saving for whoever fancy character that'll come. I want second team, and I got my eye on those fire bikers but they'll come later tho I skip Zhu Yuan 'cause so far Ice and Ether is walking hand in hand, so I think I need different element
I believe QingYi to be the most efficient agent to pull. Her passive is rumored to activate when paired with ATTACK units or police faction units. Attack + Stun is bread and butter to the game, you will use her on many teams for a looooong time.
the problem is that Anby is needed for both the electric team and the Zhu Yuan/Nicole team if you don't have Grace, which leaves you short one person when you need two teams for Shiyu Defense.. Getting Qingyi solves that.
I'm going for Qinyi anyway, I need her thighs to crush me. I do actually can try a 50/50 on Zhu Yuan but I feel it might be better to ensure Qinyi, even though I think I could just use the pulls from the store with the currency you get from pulling. Either way after this its just saving till Miyabi
Pull your favorite characters that fit your team. Everyone can agree having an ether DPS is very strong and Zhu Yuan won’t be challenged in that space anytime soon. Everyone can agree Qingyi and Jane are adorable and hot. I’ve saved 22k polychrome (that’s right, I didn’t spend jack shit on Ellen, I’m hard saving), I’m hoping to get all 3 of them since luck has been pretty good for me (30 pulls and I got Neko, and then another 50 got me Lycaon on the standard banner)

Yeah, this is pretty much my logic as well. My Piper triggers Assault super fast, Anby breaks enemies just fine. Getting an S-Rank upgrade to an A-Rank you already have just doesn't make as much sense as filling a vacant slot on your roster.
That's what I'm thinking. I already use Grace and Anby together and they're fine as is. I'll be saving for Miyabi even though I do like Jane Doe's combat mechanics

Pulling Zhu and her wEngine for sure, and if I get lucky with pulling her early I'm gonna try and get her cinema 1! Gonna skip Jane and if my polys are pretty good I'm considering pulling for Qingyi if she has a fun play style since I like the design and weapon!
I can live without Qing Yi, but I'm super torn between Jane Doe and Zhu Yuan. Zhu seems real practical in the long run, at least until there's another DPS with her same element, but Jane Doe is... Ahem, she seems cool
Logically speaking, Zhu yuan is the obvious pick for me. It's a key elemental damage dealer that I lack, and I already have a strong eletro stun in Anby, and a strong Physical damage dealer in Nekomata. But man, Zhu yuan's design and character don't interest me at all (outside of gyat). The gameplay and design of the other two are so much more appealing to me...

My logic was simple, I didn't get Lycaon in the standard banner (Soldier 11) and I definitely want Miyabi with his weapon, so I'll get Zhu Yuan or Qingyi.
Jane Doe as of the moment is the kafka of these game kinda. She enables anomoly teams to crit and will most likely be at the core of most anomoly teams. She also probally will work great with piper. Defintily going to get her.
Anby is like one of the most useful character i have rn due to her being the only stunner i have. And if qinyi is just better than her i could just brute force everything using non resist element at the very least.
Jane Doe is hot as heck...so that puts her at the top for me. If people are meta chasing, they are gonna find themselves in a weird spot later. I have made the mistake before, and it resulted in me missing characters I wanted multiple times because their future banners were always right after another unit I wanted.
I *need* Jane doe. Her design is the best in any of the hoyo games foe me right up there with Kafka and yoimiya. I havent spent a single encrypted yet and so have grace (who i also love) and every 4 star so im at loss for pull value prior to jane. Might go foe the current zhu but not sure. Edit: i went for it. I had bizarrely bad luck: had to go full pity (89 pulls lmao) into Losing 50/50 for S11, pulled 2 more tens after that (since its what i had) and ended up with c6 nicole and c6 ben. guess im going to save the rest of what i get for jane doe but ill definitely have some left over when that happens. i suppose ill run a S11/Ben/support comp (like nicole since shes C6 and that debuff is quite nice). Ben C6 makes his daze multis almost as good as a stun unit but im not 100% sure how hes gonna end up but man i gotta use the stuff i pulled somehow lol.

I actually think Qingyi's value goes up if Anby is your only stunner. While Anomaly/Disorder is a great playstyle on 1.0 and doesn't require a Stunner, it's pretty likely that every Crit carry will want a stunner, so having 2 for team building makes it easier. Especially since Qingyi only requires an Attack unit to trigger her faction core passive. Especially since Stunners are extremely easy to build and gain basically nothing from the S Rank W-Engines we have so far, so they are very F2P friendly. If you lave Lycaon or Koleda then a skip is likely ok gameplay wise, but if Anby is your only option for a Stunner, I'd value Qingyi a lot. I will still try to get all 3 of them because I get easily baited by cute character design and cool animations.
Honestly it does not look like average luck in a hoyoverse game :D. For me i'm not sure either, help me judge : I have almost every agent of 1.0 + Neko W engine without twice the same S-rank (including Soukaku and Anton M6), i have everything except Rina and Ellen. My luck is only on the permanent agent / W engine banner (140 / 300). Also i can guarantee Ellen before she's gone but i will wait for Qingyi. Edit : F2P btw

Well, if the leaks are true and the upcoming banners looking like this: Zhu Yuan - Ben + Nicole Qingyi - Anby + Billy Jane Doe - Seth + Corin then to me the banner with the most value is Jane Doe's banner for many reasons.. for the first banner, I don't like Ben playstyle and Nicole is nice but I'm not really using her in any team .. as for the second banner, I have C3 Anby and I don't see anymore value with the other characters ( Billy and Qingyi ) so its a hard pass. Jane Doe banner have 2 new characters + Seth is gonna be amazing in any anomly team + Corin is an amazing ATK agent so maxing her out is not a waste. with that being said I'm going all out on Jane Doe banner 🙏
Subscribe and like this guy's video. He speaks plainly, clearly, and without clout chasing or FOMO inducing. He tells it like it is, explains the pros and cons and leaves you to make up your mind.
I think you should choose according to the units you do not have yet: 1. No 5-star stunner? Get Qingyi 2. No 5-star attacker or you want a different attacker? Get Zhu Yuan 3. You want to build a disorder setup as your second team? Get Jane Doe (though you need a second anomaly unit as well) 4. Default: Get Zhu Yuan Also, don't sleep on Soukaku. Her daze is surprisingly high and she provides an amazing attack boost. She can be used as the pseudo-stunner for your second team until you do manage to get a second 5-star unit from the banners. Don't forget, that she is compatible with Zhu Yuan due to being support.
I dont understand. What's the problem putting Piper + Jane doe? Why no one thinks of that combination? Piper and Jane passive will work and they will have insane anomaly trigger, that will help Jane too
Some like to pull for meta reasons. Or you can be like me and live by the pull philosophy of "waifu over meta." Which is to say I will be pulling Qingyi because I like me them green-haired girls
True. I dont think pulling for meta is that neccesary cause 1. Hollow zero and shiyu defense arent going anywhere (maybe im wrong but I hope that im not) 2. Both these Modes are locked behind lvl so in my case im stuck at 39 and have no exp farm aviable except energy stuff.
For what I feel from playing HSR Anby will be powercreep by Qin yi but not by much. So in my book there is not real incentive at this moment to pull for her. Yes. I will need more stun units but we have 3 stun units that work quite well on the standar banner. I may need to wait a bit to get one but I am going to get one. So if for now I can play with anby and clear the content I know for a fact that after a while we will have a new stun unit that will powercreep anby and qin yi much more than any difference anby and qin yi can have at the moment. I only have to be a bit more patient and use the 4 stars available for now since the game is new and still easy for how it will be in the future. But maybe I am worng. Who knows?
Qingyi is absolutely incredible, she will be one of the most versatile characters in the game because she only needs any attack character on her team to activate her passive, I think people are underestimating way too much how valuable of a pull she will be for f2p players. Besides that, she clearly have the superior design compared to the other 2, so it's obvious that she's the best pick! 💢
Thank you for talking about how ridiculous mhy is for putting an S rank electric stun so close to release after their arguable flagship char shares the same attribute combo as well. Just in general the way they have been assigning the attributes makes no sense. We have two physical attackers on the SAME faction, soon to be electric stun character that powercreeps the face of the game, and if the leaks are true there's an agent that shares the same combo as Ellen Joe.

I like Zhu Yuan, Jane Doe and Qingyi so im not sure which upcoming waifu i want to pull for right now lol. Haven't touched the limited banners yet so i've currently been playing the game with Nekomata (first 5* fromt he standard banner), Anby & Nicole. I only have enough for one pity so if i lose the 50/50 (which i probably will) on Zhu Yuan then the guarantee will probably go to one of the other two.

Rina is a great overall support, building her up will be very useful for your account later on. Especially if we get an S rank electro dps down the road.

I think the main problem of qinqyi is she exchanges utility for flexibility which isn’t bad but is basically just player of all master of none, Lycaon increases dmg for all the team when stunned and has insta daze increase from the get go, kolaeda increases chain dmg and daze too when using skill but qinqyi needs to constantly stay combo to get the daze bonuses the other has and get reseted when the event gets stunned, overall i feel Anby still has a fighting chance cuz she offer utility
@@TerraTheWiseya she gets increased dmg and with each stack of bind she gets more daze against the enemy which is good but nothing crazy she is more aimed for more dps role until she breaks the enemy
I don't really care much about meta teams or anything. I will use teams of characters i like or have cool designs...for as long as i can anyway. Zhu Yuan has the best design of these 3 imo.

It's tough when you see others get lucky. Remember your guarantee from losing the 5050 will carry over so you're only 90 pulls away. So... you might be able to Zhu or Qingyi first and then get Jane, depending on how many pulls you have.
Ans: Only pull for ZhuYuan because she's the only Ether dps and don't pull the rest because there's already A rank characters of the same role.
Edit: Ellen is fine, only if u have Lycaon or else it's incomplete and there will be significant drop in DMG because from my testing, her DMG is slightly worse than Nekomata and Soldier 11 for solo fights but the utilities from Lycaon and Soukaku fixes that (strictly strong ice buffs but weak when not played together).

My only S rank is Nekomata C1 (and Rina's engine). So I will be going for Zhu Yuan. The thing is I think I will go for Qingyi because my only stun is Abby. I skipped Ellen because I want Miyabi. (More know because Suikaku decided to follow me in the standard banner for some reason. C6).

I believe QingYi to be the most efficient agent to pull. Her passive is rumored to activate when paired with ATTACK units or police faction units. Attack + Stun is bread and butter to the game, you will use her on many teams for a looooong time.

the problem is that Anby is needed for both the electric team and the Zhu Yuan/Nicole team if you don't have Grace, which leaves you short one person when you need two teams for Shiyu Defense.. Getting Qingyi solves that.

Yeah, this is pretty much my logic as well. My Piper triggers Assault super fast, Anby breaks enemies just fine. Getting an S-Rank upgrade to an A-Rank you already have just doesn't make as much sense as filling a vacant slot on your roster.
That's what I'm thinking. I already use Grace and Anby together and they're fine as is. I'll be saving for Miyabi even though I do like Jane Doe's combat mechanics

Logically speaking, Zhu yuan is the obvious pick for me.
It's a key elemental damage dealer that I lack, and I already have a strong eletro stun in Anby, and a strong Physical damage dealer in Nekomata.
But man, Zhu yuan's design and character don't interest me at all (outside of gyat). The gameplay and design of the other two are so much more appealing to me...

Jane Doe as of the moment is the kafka of these game kinda. She enables anomoly teams to crit and will most likely be at the core of most anomoly teams. She also probally will work great with piper. Defintily going to get her.

Anby is like one of the most useful character i have rn due to her being the only stunner i have. And if qinyi is just better than her i could just brute force everything using non resist element at the very least.
Jane Doe is hot as heck...so that puts her at the top for me.
If people are meta chasing, they are gonna find themselves in a weird spot later. I have made the mistake before, and it resulted in me missing characters I wanted multiple times because their future banners were always right after another unit I wanted.
They squish up the good units together on purpose you know...
I *need* Jane doe. Her design is the best in any of the hoyo games foe me right up there with Kafka and yoimiya. I havent spent a single encrypted yet and so have grace (who i also love) and every 4 star so im at loss for pull value prior to jane. Might go foe the current zhu but not sure.
Edit: i went for it. I had bizarrely bad luck: had to go full pity (89 pulls lmao) into Losing 50/50 for S11, pulled 2 more tens after that (since its what i had) and ended up with c6 nicole and c6 ben. guess im going to save the rest of what i get for jane doe but ill definitely have some left over when that happens. i suppose ill run a S11/Ben/support comp (like nicole since shes C6 and that debuff is quite nice). Ben C6 makes his daze multis almost as good as a stun unit but im not 100% sure how hes gonna end up but man i gotta use the stuff i pulled somehow lol.
Ngl, after seeing some of their animations. I can not NOT try to.get them all. They all look to have so much flow in their kit.
Despite I want Zhu Yuan, even there are trial stages for her in story mode.

So I decided to go for Qingyi.
I actually think Qingyi's value goes up if Anby is your only stunner. While Anomaly/Disorder is a great playstyle on 1.0 and doesn't require a Stunner, it's pretty likely that every Crit carry will want a stunner, so having 2 for team building makes it easier. Especially since Qingyi only requires an Attack unit to trigger her faction core passive. Especially since Stunners are extremely easy to build and gain basically nothing from the S Rank W-Engines we have so far, so they are very F2P friendly.
If you lave Lycaon or Koleda then a skip is likely ok gameplay wise, but if Anby is your only option for a Stunner, I'd value Qingyi a lot.
I will still try to get all 3 of them because I get easily baited by cute character design and cool animations.

I have almost every agent of 1.0 + Neko W engine without twice the same S-rank (including Soukaku and Anton M6), i have everything except Rina and Ellen. My luck is only on the permanent agent / W engine banner (140 / 300). Also i can guarantee Ellen before she's gone but i will wait for Qingyi.

"Almost every character", what's there to think about brother. The total pull for 1.0 f2p is 300~ enough for 4 S-rank, assuming you hit pity every time which most player does. You have 5 S-rank currently and a guarantee. Nice flex.

Well, if the leaks are true and the upcoming banners looking like this:
Zhu Yuan - Ben + Nicole
Qingyi - Anby + Billy
Jane Doe - Seth + Corin
then to me the banner with the most value is Jane Doe's banner for many reasons..
for the first banner, I don't like Ben playstyle and Nicole is nice but I'm not really using her in any team ..
as for the second banner, I have C3 Anby and I don't see anymore value with the other characters ( Billy and Qingyi ) so its a hard pass.
Jane Doe banner have 2 new characters + Seth is gonna be amazing in any anomly team + Corin is an amazing ATK agent so maxing her out is not a waste. with that being said I'm going all out on Jane Doe banner 🙏

I am skipping both, I was expecting Seth to be S Rank, saddies, I am happy with Soldier 11 for now.
I think you should choose according to the units you do not have yet:
1. No 5-star stunner? Get Qingyi
2. No 5-star attacker or you want a different attacker? Get Zhu Yuan
3. You want to build a disorder setup as your second team? Get Jane Doe (though you need a second anomaly unit as well)
4. Default: Get Zhu Yuan
Also, don't sleep on Soukaku. Her daze is surprisingly high and she provides an amazing attack boost. She can be used as the pseudo-stunner for your second team until you do manage to get a second 5-star unit from the banners. Don't forget, that she is compatible with Zhu Yuan due to being support.
I dont understand. What's the problem putting Piper + Jane doe? Why no one thinks of that combination? Piper and Jane passive will work and they will have insane anomaly trigger, that will help Jane too

Some like to pull for meta reasons. Or you can be like me and live by the pull philosophy of "waifu over meta." Which is to say I will be pulling Qingyi because I like me them green-haired girls

1. Hollow zero and shiyu defense arent going anywhere (maybe im wrong but I hope that im not)
2. Both these Modes are locked behind lvl so in my case im stuck at 39 and have no exp farm aviable except energy stuff.

For what I feel from playing HSR Anby will be powercreep by Qin yi but not by much.
So in my book there is not real incentive at this moment to pull for her. Yes. I will need more stun units but we have 3 stun units that work quite well on the standar banner. I may need to wait a bit to get one but I am going to get one. So if for now I can play with anby and clear the content I know for a fact that after a while we will have a new stun unit that will powercreep anby and qin yi much more than any difference anby and qin yi can have at the moment.
I only have to be a bit more patient and use the 4 stars available for now since the game is new and still easy for how it will be in the future.
But maybe I am worng. Who knows?
Qingyi is absolutely incredible, she will be one of the most versatile characters in the game because she only needs any attack character on her team to activate her passive, I think people are underestimating way too much how valuable of a pull she will be for f2p players. Besides that, she clearly have the superior design compared to the other 2, so it's obvious that she's the best pick! 💢

Thank you for talking about how ridiculous mhy is for putting an S rank electric stun so close to release after their arguable flagship char shares the same attribute combo as well. Just in general the way they have been assigning the attributes makes no sense. We have two physical attackers on the SAME faction, soon to be electric stun character that powercreeps the face of the game, and if the leaks are true there's an agent that shares the same combo as Ellen Joe.

I only have enough for one pity so if i lose the 50/50 (which i probably will) on Zhu Yuan then the guarantee will probably go to one of the other two.

Rina is a great overall support, building her up will be very useful for your account later on. Especially if we get an S rank electro dps down the road.

I think the main problem of qinqyi is she exchanges utility for flexibility which isn’t bad but is basically just player of all master of none, Lycaon increases dmg for all the team when stunned and has insta daze increase from the get go, kolaeda increases chain dmg and daze too when using skill but qinqyi needs to constantly stay combo to get the daze bonuses the other has and get reseted when the event gets stunned, overall i feel Anby still has a fighting chance cuz she offer utility

I don't really care much about meta teams or anything. I will use teams of characters i like or have cool designs...for as long as i can anyway. Zhu Yuan has the best design of these 3 imo.
