Cape Cod and the 4th of July

We decided to stay in Cape Cod and check out some beauty there.
We begin with one of the challenges that can often accompany a long trip like ours. We wind up leaving part of our storage behind and carry on.
Our day includes visiting Lighthouse Beach, Chatham Bars Inn and the walk along Main Street that connects them. Chatham offers a picturesque blend of small-town charm and maritime heritage.

Later we spend a rainy Fourth of July in Provincetown, at the very tip of Cape Cod. There the celebration refuses to be dampened. The magic of a Provincetown Fourth of July is that neither rain nor wind can dull the town’s electric spirit.
From Cape Cod we head to the next destination of the Ten Thousand Mile Circle, Maine.
