Old Forge Snowmobiling Jan 10 2025

What a day! Sled breakdowns, carbides bent and shot. Trails great in Old Forge, but we decide to try our luck heading south only to find the trails aren't very good so we turn around in favor of the better trails.
Starting at Big Moose Yamaha for gas, we head for Elise Lookout. Not long into the trip, Jason's sled (ridden by Noah) had the secondary rollers give out. We drag her back to load it on Lance's trailer. Starting out on another sled, we go back to fill that one up and head to town. We finally make it to Elise, then down trail 6 for a bit. We should have stayed on the road instead of trying the railroad tracks as they were not good. Anyway, we give it a go, but end up turning around. Head into town for a snack at Slickers, then on to Stillwater for another stop. Back toward home we try the road, overheat, and jump on Trail 10. Camera batteries die out on the way.
