Check out the video on which you’re commenting lol

      @@DougieD_Funk I believe he's referring to the Delta Blues guitarist, Tommy Johnson 1899-1956 ( no relation to Robert) who also was said to have sold his soul to the devil at the crossroads. Tommy , was said to have done this a couple of years earlier than Robert. However, Tommy's claim ( like Robert's) comes from a second hand source. It was Tommy's brother (LaDell Johnson)who made this claim, just like it was Son House who made the same claim about Robert Johnson.

    I HAVE A SIMILAR STORY
    I come from the mountains of the state of Guerrero, Mexico. A guy went to the top of a mountain and at exactly 12am he called on the devil to make a deal he yelled "LUCIFER LUCIFER LUCIFER" and the devil appeared he told him he wanted to be the best poker player around, the devil agreed. He would never loose, people from the city would drive up for hours to the mountains to play him, they would leave the mountains carless and with no money. He played a Drug Lord one time and beat him took all his money, jewelry and trucks he wanted to kill him until the whole community went home and got their guns and told him to leave and never come back, the poker player just disappeared the next and was never heard from or seen. Some say he knew that he would end up getting everyone else killed so he turned himself to the devil before innocent people died. The place where they played you can hear voices at 12am sometimes, my brother heard them and domino's being Played getting slammed hard against the table, it's the devil trying to get someone else to play with him and make another deal with him. I got goosebumps watching this video

      Im a native. My cousin cut off his hair and put it in a shoe box and went to the crossroads and waited to make a deal with a demon or deity. Before that though him and his friend dug up offerenings to the great spirit and the sun at our grounds we hold our ceremonies at. I guess that's where he started to turn to a cold renegade. Anyway him and his friend were at the crossroads waiting and calling, they wanted to be great music artists like tupac Shakur or the delfonics. They saw a very tall man walking towards them all black like smoke. I guess they saw death in its eyes and ran away from it. He wasted its time and he started getting sick and beaten for it. (Dragged out his bed at night, choked when he slept and wake up in pain with bruises and scratches) Stuff like that)

    • @qb-xe4yh
      @qb-xe4yh 2 года назад +6

      He still gets possessed and has seizures. It strikes when hes drunk and his spirit cant stay in him. Nobody can help him, everyone waits till the demon leaves. He begs people to tell him what happens to him when he blacks out from pain but everyone puts their head down and says nothing cause our elders told us to

    What kills me about the last scene is the love that woman has in her eyes for him. And that he is a good man who is about to be damned to ever lasting hell. Over something like wanting to play good music. The last thing the poor man saw was that cross knowing he would never see Heaven. It makes me wonder if Robert is still down there. Or if he became a demon. And if so, what is he doing now? The whole thing is so sad.
    Edit :
    It was actually Tommy Johnson, not Robert Johnson who made a pact to play the blues. But he didn't pact with Satan. Both he and Robert practiced Hoodoo. He made the pact with the Haitian Vodou Crossroads God, Papa Legba. Legba is a master of magic and knows all things. So most pacts are made with him. And Legba certainly didn't take his soul. Of course some people think both stories are true : that Robert sold his soul to Satan and Tommy pacted with Papa Legba.

      The creator of music is God. And when he created the angels, he gave one of them the authority to lead praise to God in heaven. It was like that for a long time. However, that angel rebelled against God, and is who we know as Satan, who is now a demon. That is why he knows how to seduce with music, besides that he can give wealth and fame to those who absurdly dare to agree with him. We only have to agree with Jesus, the Son of God, the Creator of music and everything.
