The Riegl RiCOPTER is a robust platform capable of 30 minute flight times with a full sensor payload (VUX-SYS). This video highlights a corridor survey of a 3-mile US Army Corp of Engineers levee project. All data was captured and processed in-house. This allows for a quick turn-around time and reduces the risk of data compromise.

How well can lidar detect the Earth's surface density ???, to possibly distinguish between ... different rock densities, or rock types, and sizes, or tell what is ... grass, sand, clay, gravel, concrete, mud, objects, or whatever, ???. Can lidar, sonar and GPS all be used together for very detailed surface density mapping ???.
