The road its like 2 or 3 cars per DAY and you cannot build more in this area, so if you want to have a house close to the river, this is the chance. ;) If this is not for you, we have more properties. You have a wonderful view, yes! But on the neighbour's property. This is ridiculous. Someone willing to buy such a ruin that need so much work to make it livable, wants to have a few hectares of olive grove around with it. Nobody wants to buy a farm in ruins in the country side with nothing as land around. The only purpose of buying a farm there is to grow veggies, fruit trees, olive trees and raise some animals like donkeys, sheeps, chickens and rubbits! Then on top of it, the property would have access to the river! There, this would be a very nice potential proposal. But with 300 square meters of land, forget it!

It is a big house with a lot of potential. And I am sure that people can buy some land somewhere close if they have the desire to grow more trees or vegetables. 👍

The correct name for the property should have "Abandoned ruin". Sadly nobody pays a dime for abandoned ruin, so a more creative choice of words "River House". 40K is daylight robbery. Anyone with lot of money to throw away, will do it instantly. I appreciate the effort to make the video though.
A property that's a ruin needing complete renovation still has value, it's not worthless as you wrongly suggest. It depends what you want to do with it. Plus the land is constructible to a degree, so you can renovate or demolish parts of this house to reconfigurate it to how you would want it. I find asking prices for this type of property in this condition regularly around €30-40k, so it's reasonable. You could spend a further €100k renovating it to your exact requirements, and have a house that finally costs you less than the equivalent second hand one in that area. Take account of the peaceful surroundings and proximity to the river, and the possibility of taking good walks in the fresh air. Someone will buy it. You clearly don't understand how the Portuguese property market works, or that a ruin can have value to someone.

its is getting ridiculous in portugal now ! they're getting drunk in the price bubble and shoving any old heap onto the market !!
