Ok if he didn't use creative, TMI or Mcedit, this could still be possible in survival. THESE ARE ALL ESTIMATES because i'm too lazy to count. The song is about 3 minutes long, and there are 600 redstone ticks in a minute. About 1800 ticks for the whole song. A repeater uses 3 stone, 2 redstone torches and 1 redstone dust. A redstone torch is a redstone dust and a torch. A torch is coal/charcoal and a stick. I estimate he used about 3000 repeaters, which is about OVER 9000 stone, OVER 9000 redstone dust, about 3000 coal and about 3000 sticks. I will add in about 1500 more redstone dust for times where the signal needs to travel with no slowdown. The noteblock uses 8 planks and one redstone dust. Four planks come from a log. Assuming that he used about 6000 note blocks, that adds another 48000 planks and 6000 redstone dust to the mix. The glass road (please no im not calculating this) Now, to clear the area, it probably took him several hours (2-3 and maybe 4 if he used his hands) Placing all the blocks and tuning the note blocks took him at least 12-18 hours The glass road took him quite a while Crafting everything took at least 8 hours, maybe 12 considering that shift clicking didn't work. Mining the materials (other than the wood and stone) took him A LONG TIME. Probably several days. (we will just round to 100+ hours) Smelting the cobblestone into stone would take 25 hours if it was 100% efficient, but we will make that 40 hours because he probably had other things to do. My conservative estimate for how long this took would be between 162 and ~300 hours. Saying that this dude plays the game 5-8 hours a week, it would take at least 20 weeks to pull this off. Even with 5 more people playing (who play just as much as him) , it would take almost a month. These are just my silly estimates. And who knows? Maybe he does play 16 hours a day and has no job.

Minecraft Beta 1.3 is a version prior to when creative mode was made. So, 飽人クロ had to get all the redstone for this. That or he probably just hacked the game to get this many noteblocks.
I believe there are a few ways: 1. Manually do all the notes, tiring as hell and NOT recommended 2. Hack and use MIDI samples There are more that I do not know. PS these are made by redstone and note blocks If I'm not wrong there's no minecart involved. Unless you're trying to compare how people can make songs on Minecraft to you using one lol. Peace
