I just got a 1975 cb 750 k . I' m 55 years old. Because of this video I think I just might make it a cafe racer. I haven't fought with my wife in a long time. This is a good idea, thanks future cafe racer owner.
Jim Pulcine I'm really glad knowing that my videos are helping others became cafe racer enthusiasts. Thank you for sharing your comment, and good luck for your future Cafe Racer Project. Cheers.
Please dont molest a nice 75 CB750. This bullshit fad is just that, a fad. No body in the future will want to buy someones piece of shit chopped up project, but, a pristine 75 CB750... that'll be worth something.
Spetznaz666 No, it won't. Out here in SoCal, aka the motorcycle buying and selling capital of the U.S. (possibly the world), a '75 CB750 sells for about $1500, if it's in REALLY good condition. Café racers will add about another $500, and if really well done, they might take $3000. Basically, old CB's have re - appreciated back to about what they cost new. No more, probably less.
Jason Koppelman Aye, I too live in SoCal, and while yes, CURRENTLY cafe raced old CB's go for a higher price, this will not always be so. Cafe racing shit is a pretty recent fad paying homage to when cafe racing a bike was actually practical for weight saving purposes. Given time, I reckon motorcycle enthusiasts wont be looking for cafe raced bikes but originals. It's already hard enough to find a pristine 79 CB750, imagine what it's gonna be like in 20 years after all the nice ones have been cafe'd out...
Spetznaz666 New fad?! I was building cafe racers 35 years ago. Sure, it ruins the collector value of a classic bike but I don't have motorcycles for investments, I own them to ride. I will modify any part of a motorcycle that doesn't suit me. The motorcycles I destroyed making them suit my tastes made the rest of their type worth more. You're welcome for that. My cafe racers died screaming, the way motorcycles should. They live on in my fond memories.
Yes, after i married my current wife, in 2000, I bought a bike, then she bought herself a bike, then she bought another, I restored a 1981 shovelhead, now we are looking at cafe racers to build rather that just buy, the fun of the build with the shovel really gives you a totally different way of connecting with the bike...plus the satisfaction of giving a bike a second chance at life!
I watch this video everyday after i get back from work for the past 2 months it just gives me serenity ..... so i bought a cg 125 ( first motorcycle in my life ) going to start my cafe-racer project this week
Haitham Melhem I love comments like yours. It means that my work is inspiring for others. Thank you for sharing your words, and Good luck for your project.
I am building a cafe racer, so i came here looking for advice about building one. I didn't find any (since i'm not married yet), but i find GOLD! You, sir, are a champ!
well, let me give 5 reasons to have a bike than a wife:P 1) your bike won't care if you look or ride other bikes 2) your bike only cares about pleasuring you 3) your bike won't care if you go out late with the guys 4) your bike will always be there for you, no matter what 5) well, your bike is cheaper than ANY wife:P
EarlKrempe I understand your point my Friend. Try to see your situation as a great opportunity to change your life for better. Maybe finding a new passion. A new bike and a new Wife(which also love bikes). I wish you the best luck. Cheers.
RACER TV Thank you for your kind words of support. I enjoyed your video and as a small gesture of my appreciation I have clicked "thumbs up" for your video.
EarlKrempe My ex made me sell my Shovelhead, fifteen years later, my new girlfriend bought me a twin cam. She also rides. There is always hope brother.
Hello Racer! I live in the US and have been watching your videos for a while. I tried to convince my dad to buy me a donor bike for a project last year but he didn’t believe in me or a 30 year old bike. Now I have raised my own money and am gonna try to convince him to let me buy one for myself. Thanks for the inspiration! Cheers
I own a YAMAHA VMAX 1200cc, I was in love with them since about early 90's, and finnally I grab one. Now I'm retired, but I've motocycling for more than 50 years, had from Honda Cub 50cc, YAMAHA 100cc YL1 Twin Jet, Dt 175, Kawa 250, FJ1200, I also did compete on a Honda two stroke 250cc. About the VMAX I wasn't aware it's front suspension is really challenging as the rest of the handling, heavy, sensitive brakes ...But I love it and will turn it in to a CAFE RACER, thanks for all your tips, maybe I can load some pictures or even videos from it during and after. Here in Costa Rica we are a little short on where to do some things; good that I can purchase some gadgets online. Started watching Racer TV about a Year ago, never tired on enjoying your programs. Thanks!
Thank you my friend for sharing your experience and story. I wish you the best luck for your project. When you finish your project, Try to send me 1 or 2 photos in a private message on Racer TV 's Facebook Page. :) Saludos.
Hey, honey? I'm going to build a fashion statement motorcycle to match my jeans... "But you don't have any mechanical skills..." Oh.. that hasn't stopped anyone yet...
***** I'm 6'4" and ride a Honda CB750. I feels fine to me but someone shorter might find it suits their height better. If a 750 feels too tall for you then anything smaller may fit the bill. It depends on what power you want vs how small a bike you want. I know a guy your height who rides a much bigger bike than mine. He's on a 1200cc sport bike and can't touch the ground with both feet. He has to lean the bike a little to get one foot down. You'll have to sit on some bikes and see how you feel.
Graças a vc eu sei o que e' de fato uma Cafe Cafe,I will be o the top Best in 2020!
Love it!!! I'm years late on this café racer scene but I can't wait to get one soon. 51 years old and a baby to motorcycles. Bought a 250 starter bake 3 months ago and looking to upgrade to a café racer by year's end or early 2019. I want a Moto Guzzi V7. I just love that sound. The wife don't care.
...And, of course, Reason 6: Keep your garage floor lubricated! Hilarious video... really cheered me up on a cold, dark, wet, miserable day. Thanks for posting.
awesoul I'm glad you liked. You could also lie to your wife about the price of the bike. Tell her it costed something like 150 euros. Lol. Good luck for your project. Cheers.
Thanks Thesantiso formyour reply. I'm to the point of pulling the gas tank and cleaning up the carbs. Then its a battery and hope it stsrts. I have all winter to play with it. It's still riding season here in Wisconsin so I am still on the Goldwing. Thanks again for the reply.
I married age 30 in 1979 with the promise from Mary that she will never stop me riding. She hasn't, but my garage now has 4 real bikes and 2 scooters (for donkey-work) and with comments from friends she has started nagging me to reduce to 1 bike. This video has helped me explain that when I die, the bikes are investments that will make her rich!!! All are old, all keep up with 2000HP monsters that are restricted by legal speed limits, that I can usually outperform in corners! I love low bars, low rev growls, torque, pedal sparks in corners and wide-eyed youngsters commenting that they had trouble keeping up in the twisties. Thanks for this as it may help me avoid arguments after her friends tell Mary that I am garbage because they think that the latest fashion dress makes more sense. I recently discovered scooters as I can collect 2 crates of beer as well a weeks shopping in the storage containers while not caring about them on the short ride to work. So, being Saturday, I am off to Cape Reinga on my one owner 1973 650, plastic bag to sleep in and more expected memories than a lifetime of kiddies playing computer games can understand.
geraldmouse When i made this video, the main goal was to convince viewers buying an old bike for a cafe racer project. I never thought that the video could work in the opposite way.Thank you for sharing your story. I'm glad by knowing this video can be useful in different ways. Cheers.
RACER TV better than you realise; since seeing you terrific video...We saw a 67 Triumph herald for sale, Mary had memories. I had a look and approved the purchase. Family peace as she can now tell her envious friends where to go and silly dresses are forgotten. Secretly though, I still admire a strong female right leg, leather and a solid right grip like 6.33 mins in your video. :) Ah, dreams :)
to me it's just the fun of building your own, to express you, you can make it vintage style or modern, anything you want and it will still be a classic.
My wife is fugkin amazing, she went out and bought me a Yamaha FZR600R 3HE 1991, running, all the expensive stuff in good condition, and the best part is, she only paid £300 delivered, on top of that she got me a new welding helmet, socket set and a case of beer. Why did she do this I hear you ask, birthday, no, simply because she loves me, she tells me I deserve it, because she always comes first (???(think about it)). I'm really sorry but this is going to go back to stock, it's just that good, and to change this into a "Café Racer" would be a sin, and because I already have one. Yet another excellent video, thank you. I also built her a Suzuki GT 380 that she rides like a fuckin banshee.
Fudmottin I understand your comment. But try to see this voice as one of the best "robotic" voices in the world today. Thanks for sharing your comment. Cheers.
Loved the video and subscribed! The thing I love about cafe racers is that when your doing the ton, it feels like an accomplishment whereas on a modern sport bike the ton comes up in first or second gear! Jail time speeds in first gear and the thing hasn't started breathing yet! Awesome yes, but cafe racers don't require a track or the shredding of your license to enjoy them. Thanks for posting 😊
Cafe racers are my favorite bike design easily. The design really calls to my taste. If I find myself with a lot of extra cash one day I'm going to pick one up.
Cole Byre Thank you for sharing your thoughts. But i think you don't need lot of extra cash. Just some cash will do nicely. :) Good luck, and believe in your dream. Cheers.
too right. makes me howl laughing when my 30+ y/o mates say "pretty pretty please may i spend my pocket money on a bike?" you wanna bike. get one. if she leaves you over it then leather clad women at biker rallys will jump your bones instead.
fitztheviking I work with some youngsters and they have started to really appreciate my older bikes, filming them on their phones for facebook type contacts. A perfect wife is not easy, a perfect bike is not simple; both add a bit of a challenge and the reward is survival. Who are we without a challenge?
I'll be in the market for my first bike soon, I've never considered a cafe racer until I saw this channel, btw love the music in every video I've seen so far!
David Fernandez Considering your comment, it seems that i did a good job in this video. Lol. Inspiration is all you need to start a Cafe Racer project. Good luck with your new bike. Enjoy it. Thank you for your kind words. Cheers.
David Fernandez Cafe racers are great for zipping about town, but can be uncomfortable for long distance cruising. Also, if you do get an old bike, keep in mind that finding parts can be a real P.I.T.A. Keep in mind what you want a motorcycle for and you'll find the right bike.......
Darth Belal You are right. Everything depends of the kind of riding the bike will have. Personally, i think cafe racers are more like the second bike of our garage, or our first bike ever. ;) Thanks For your comment. Cheers.
nice video, but I have big question. it's a good idea to star with one of these motorcycles? I say it because I'm 20 and I not to "strong" so it's is good idea? good vibes from cancun mexico
+APM Moises Thank you. A cafe racer bike doesn't need to be a strong and big bike. If you are looking for a small cafe racer, you can choose a 125 cc or even a 250 cc. I recommend you to see my latest video about the Honda Cb 125. Search for " Cafe Racer (Honda CB 125 - "The Spark" of 50.000 Subscribers)". I'm sure you will like it. Saludos.
Hi~! Very entertaining video. What is the voice you're using? is it one of the Mac automated voices? I am considering a cafe racer... no wife to consult!
KutWrite Hi. I'm glad you liked. I'm really sorry, but i can't reveal the voice i'm using. It took me several months of hard research to find this voice. I hope you understand me. Good luck for your future Cafe Racer machine. Cheers.
I have a number of Vintage Honda's and no matter which one I take on any given day, I'm always being waved at or given a thumbs up and at stop lights, people are taking photos and striking up conversations. On occasion, people will follow me just to talk about the bike. There is something to say about a woman who encourages men to go after those bikes. My partner is one of those types, saying, you need to go look at it! I guess I'm one of the fortunate ones. Cheers! Zip~
Margaret Dalton Considering this is a informative video about bikes, youtube consider reasonable to use(fair use) a few seconds of other videos. But if you want to know more about these bikes, try the link below. Cheers. ruclips.net/video/uF44aLCnA1Q/видео.html
John Deere Yes, it's very beautiful. It was made here in Portugal, by Tricana motorcycles. It is a Moto Guzzi V65, and it's name is "Tricana Mondego". Thanks for sharing your comment. Cheers.
The main reason that I restored my grandfathers bike So that I always remember how he bond with me when I was a child by driving me every afternoon. 💯🤙
I would love to start a cafe racer project but I haves zero mechanical skills and I know nothing about bike's but the idea intrigues me and I'm a good study. With time and money how easy is it for a neophyte to pick up and do?
LunaticReason I understand your point. But today with internet, i think you can learn anything you want.I also recommend you to see my other video which can help you about this. Here is the name of the video: Cafe Racer ( Tips to choose the Best Bike for Your Project).I which you the best luck for your future project. Cheers.
RACER TV Thanks I watched that and a lot of your videos and other youtube sites and web articles. Would there be any websites or videos you'd recommend for step by step instructions. Also I just found a Honda v45 magna for cheap would that be doable project?
LunaticReason Honestly, i don't know any other website with instructions to help with a cafe racer project.Usually we try to find what we need to know in a particular moment.About the Honda v45 magna. It is doable, but in the end of the project, it will be more expensive than you think.Because to change this honda to a cafe racer, you will need to change a lot of parts.Because to change this honda to a cafe racer, you will need to change a lot of parts, such as the fuel tank, seat, wheels, and so on.I always recommend to buy a bike "More normal", to change only a few parts, in order to obtaining a the right proportions of a cafe racer. Good luck. Cheers.
RACER TV I have a 79 Xs400f currently undergoing a transformation from cruiser to racer. Would probably die if it was featured in one of your videos once it's done.
The best motorcycle that I've owned was a 1979 Yamaha XS1100 Special. All that I changed were the handlebars to super-sport bars. I'm desperately looking for another.
Bryan Hascall Ha! I just bought a 1980 Yamaha XS1100 Special with Cafe inspired plans. It's the oldest, cheapest and most fun bike I've owned out of the four I've had. Good stuff.
I love the special for its round headlght and teardrop tank. If you want it to ride more aggressively, get some supersport bars like I did. Word of warning, if the bike has power, but suddenly drops, and the tone of the engine drops lower. A couple of cyclinders have gone out. You will need to go under the crank cover, and solder some flexible wire to the old leads. The vacuum advance tends to break because the wiring is so old.
Martin Knoll Well, you can always make a cafe racer bike with 2 different seats, 1 Seat for just the rider, and other seat to accommodate 2 persons.Another solution is choosing a different style for your bike, like a Tracker or a Street Tracker style or even a Scrambler. These are not exactly cafe racers, but they are also very interesting styles for a bike. Good Luck for you future project.
Kumbanigash To be honest, it is a really difficult job converting into a Cafe Racer. The big radiator and the angle of the front suspension, are a big handicap for any cafe racer project. I hope this helps. Cheers.
AWESOME VIDEO!!! Again another great video! I'm sorry for asking you this but I have to because I've been looking in your channel and haven't found it... But, is there a video of your OWN bike? I can't imagine how cool that machine is. You have a fine taste and have the real heart of a biker, so yes I KNOW it's gonna be good. Kind regards from Argentina, friend!
thesantiso Thanks for your kind words. But i think you are going to be a little disappointed about my cafe racer bike.I'm not a professional bike builder, but i know how to make the best choices according with my mechanical skills. If you look on my chanel for Honda Cb 125 B6 cafe racer, you will find my own bike.Try to see this video: Cafe Racer (Honda CB 125 - Tips for a fun Racer), where i explain why i chose this small bike for my project.Kind regards.
awesome video :) Oh and i was thinking to put gs500 engine n brakes to my hyosung if i can get my hands to one that is wrecked or something :) lower it, make a small n sharp tail hump n stuff.....hard to explain but i have a picture in my head....
timo vähäkuopus Thanks Timo. A gs500 engine in your machine. Sounds good, but i think is harder than you can expect. Careful with the electrics. About the smaller tail, try to draw it in a picture, and wait to see if time factor says anything. Good luck.
yeah....theres some people in england who have made that engine swap....what i have heard its pain in the ass but if i found a wrecked one that has elecrics all good it should not be so hard... ihave swapped engines to small bikes and one time putted 125cc 4-stroke to minimoto whit my friend :D after having too many crashes we made it to 3-wheeler......aaaand we made child ATV 125cc too :D :D it was too dangerous so we dismanteled it....it popped a wheelie in every gear and was too unstable in fast speeds....too bad we didnt have video camera :/ well we had but REALLY bad so......Oh i miss those days when we cud make whatever we wanted.....but now i live in city and this sucks....one day i will have my own garage....one day.... :3
Looking for some advice, i'm 17, never ridden a motorbike before or even come in contact with them. I've got a gap year coming up and i'm interested in learning how to build/work on and ride bikes - and i've heard cafe racers are the best place to start. Anyone here got any advice on what to do? I'm London based so any places I should visit etc.? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Milo A-S Well, first of all, congratulations for your good taste. It's rare seeing someone so young interested in these kind of bikes. If i were you, I think the best thing to do, is buying a small(125cc) and simple bike, just to get some riding experience. After this, you are going to develop some habits and personal tastes, which are going to be important to your future cafe racer project. I recommend to visit Ace Cafe London, and also search on internet for any videos and blogs about cafe racer bikes. Good luck. Cheers.
I am also planing a Yamaha XJR400 cafe racer project. It is not a hot bike in cafe racer world. So it is kind of hard to find many good examples on internet...
I wonder what kind of bike the silver cafe racer is that the girl with long hair starting and drives away. It is a two cylinder twin that looks old. But since the rest of the bike is nicely customized into a racer it is hard to see the original brand and year. Does anyone know this fact?
I am now struggling in getting bike (cafe racer ofcourse) as i already have a mode of transportation which is a 4 wheel car. I worry i will regret by spending that money and end up didnt worth it. do you have any advise on this? haha BTW i really liked your videos!! is cool and inspiring
+bodyshampooLotion Yes it is. You won't regret. Riding a motorcycle is much more exciting than a car. The experience is much more richer and intense. And if you choose an old bike, the riding experience will be even greater. :) Cheers.
Reinaldo Maschio de Andrade Nem precisa de agradecer. É um prazer fazer chegar estes videos a todos os que falam Português. Obrigado pelo comentário. Saudações de Portugal.
been riding norton commando for years. it survived new wife hideing in a buddies lawn mower shed for 11 years its back making the scene with me and my 16 year old son.
+bodyshampooLotion As i said in other comment, yes it is very fun. I recommend you to watch on of my videos. Search on youtube for "Cafe Racer (Why motorcycles make people feel free?)". I'm sure you will understand the feeling of riding a bike. Cheers.
.. lol.... its a good vid.. but i wouldn't be making so much money if my clients didn't buy more vintage bikes... always breaking down and the best part is when i tell them things have to be made or parts are not available so they become very expensive,,, also the expectation that their old bike runs like a brand new gsxr. you bought a 40 yr old bike. corrodded, broken wires, barely something ridable. and it will take thousands, if not the same cost of a brand new bike, to make it look bad ass like a magazine bike. powder coated frame, rebuilt engine, new carbs, new bearings, new tires, tons into refinishing work, paint, not to mention all the custom parts.... then you'll have a bad ass setup..... like the image of the ducati s2r in the beginning, that's a 5k bike for starters, add the custom alum tank and tail section lookin at at least 3k without labor... and we haven't even gone through the maintenance of the bike yet...end
Ryan Arends I understand your comment.I also bought a 40 years old honda Cb, and i had many problems(I still have some) to get it run properly.Fortunately, most of the engine repairs were done by myself, and at the end, it wasn't so expensive as usual is. I Admit that for some people with less experience on mechanics, it would be recommendable buying a more recent bike. Thanks for sharing your opinion/experience. Cheers.
CircleStudio It is based on the original verson of this song: Inspirational Instrumental Music-Dare To Dream. In the end of this video, well, all i know is that is a British "singer", "Norton" perhaps :) Enjoy it.
Could you upload this video but without the funny parts from movies and series? I just love the feel of the video with just the correct music chosen for the bikes pictured!
Of course, but luck for what? to have a cafè racer or to have luck to don't need a mechanic? :) I've two motorcycle from the '70s, one custom and one original from long time and for my experience I tell you that for this passion, probably a mechanic is your best friend! :) Cheers
RACER TV haha! Sorry mauve yes... To have a mechanic friend in Italy seems to be always to a mechanic for a problem to your motorbike... In this case the mechanic is your best friend because you see him everyday ☺
Dédé LABINOUZE I'm glad you liked. It is a 1989 Moto Guzzi V65 Lario, and it was built by Tricana Motorcycles located in Coimbra, Portugal. Thanks for sharing your comment. Cheers.
If you are a man, you don't have get permission from a woman. If you want a motorcycle, then get a motorcycle. Asking permission from your wife is like asking your mom for a toy at a toy store. So go get a motorcycle no questions asked.
Eric Brooks damn straight
Boom...MGTOW!
Mmmm.....
Ya goddamn straight!

I just got a 1975 cb 750 k . I' m 55 years old. Because of this video I think I just might make it a cafe racer. I haven't fought with my wife in a long time. This is a good idea, thanks future cafe racer owner.

I am building a cafe racer, so i came here looking for advice about building one.
I didn't find any (since i'm not married yet), but i find GOLD!
You, sir, are a champ!
+Polpot Lee Lol. Thank you my friend for your kind comment. Cheers.
well, let me give 5 reasons to have a bike than a wife:P
1) your bike won't care if you look or ride other bikes
2) your bike only cares about pleasuring you
3) your bike won't care if you go out late with the guys
4) your bike will always be there for you, no matter what
5) well, your bike is cheaper than ANY wife:P
Nicky7S Looooool.
polish/caress your bike for 60 mins and you can ride it week.
Try that with the wife??
EarlKrempe
I understand your point my Friend.
Cheers
Thank you my friend for sharing your perspective. :) Cheers.
User6327 Loool.
Hilarious. That fits me to a tee.
*****
Don't let that stop you. It didn't stop me and I'm so happy to have my favorite fashion accessory.

I'm 6'4" and ride a Honda CB750.
The fact that you came to a cafe racer video to bash cafe racers says a lot about your life.
Builder/owner of a cb750 cafe racer
Best bike I've ever owned.
Great narration!
+Pissed_Off_ Patriot Thank you for your comment. :) Cheers.

60's bikes are fabulous and I would like to have one in my gare-auje ! I think RACER TV gets what its really about because they always hit the mark.
This channel is not about bikes, but poetry!
Lol. Thank you my friend for all your kind words. I appreciate your support.
Graças a vc eu sei o que e' de fato uma Cafe Cafe,I will be o the top Best in 2020!
i got Yamaha RS100. It's sooo old.. Now i got reasons to turn it to a cafe race bike. Thanks for inspiring.
You're welcome. :) Good luck for your project. Cheers.
Simply the best cafe racer video on RUclips.
+CYGNUS-X1 Thank you my friend. To be honest, i think i already made better than this one. But that's up to you to decide. :) Cheers.
Indeed, the Moto guzzi engine sounds really good. Thank you my friend for sharing your perspective. :) Cheers.
The single most important cafe racer inspirational video of all time, brilliant sir.
Thank you. I'm glad you liked my friend. :) Cheers.
@@RACER_TV looking forward to more fantastic videos, cheers!!!
...And, of course, Reason 6: Keep your garage floor lubricated!
Hilarious video... really cheered me up on a cold, dark, wet, miserable day.
Thanks for posting.
SJCB27 Loool. I'm glad you liked the video. Thanks for sharing your comment. Cheers.
Wow I really loved watching this video, lol I bought an old bike without letting my wife know, now m going to start my project thank you
awesoul I'm glad you liked.
Thanks again for the reply.
i like cafes because i have memories when my dad was an acrobat and racer, no famous but natural.
cafes rock!
My wife rides a cafe racer too, we both have cafed out 1977 Yamaha RD 400's. That's how you do it. Great video by the way, made me laugh.
You are very lucky. Thank you my friend for sharing your perspective. :) Cheers.
to me it's just the fun of building your own, to express you, you can make it vintage style or modern, anything you want and it will still be a classic.
thank you racer tv now i have my cafe racer and i
make another one coz my wife want it ... it is cool
Lol. You are a very lucky man. My wife only tolerates my garage with 5 motorcycles. :) Thank you my friend for sharing your story. Cheers.
The synthetic voice over is, um, well, synthetic. But I love the humor in this video. +1
Fudmottin I understand your comment. But try to see this voice as one of the best "robotic" voices in the world today. Thanks for sharing your comment. Cheers.
It is good. It took me a little while to notice.
1997TL1000 Thank you for sharing your comment and for subscribing. Cheers.
I must say, you have great attitude on these videos...
+Tapio Suhonen Thank you. I'm glad you like. Cheers.
This is the amazing way to explain something... And comment section is witness of this... 😀😂
Bravo 👍🏼
Cafe racers are my favorite bike design easily. The design really calls to my taste. If I find myself with a lot of extra cash one day I'm going to pick one up.
Cole Byre Thank you for sharing your thoughts. But i think you don't need lot of extra cash. Just some cash will do nicely. :) Good luck, and believe in your dream. Cheers.
loved the vid. The wife clips added character to the video. please keep them coming.
+Pete Martinez Thank you. Cheers.
The only question a married man should be asking his wife is: Where's my beer?
Ultra80s Lol.
too right. makes me howl laughing when my 30+ y/o mates say "pretty pretty please may i spend my pocket money on a bike?" you wanna bike. get one. if she leaves you over it then leather clad women at biker rallys will jump your bones instead.
fitztheviking I work with some youngsters and they have started to really appreciate my older bikes, filming them on their phones for facebook type contacts. A perfect wife is not easy, a perfect bike is not simple; both add a bit of a challenge and the reward is survival. Who are we without a challenge?
geraldmouse thats a little deeper than i was going but your right. good one for getting the next gen into classic bikes though.
Boom!
I love your videos, I get lost in them, and my dream of owning a cafe racer one day! Thanks from the UK.
Thank you my friend for your support. :) Cheers.
I love cafe racer bike's ... I'm 21 and from india ihave Rajdoot 350 chop cafe... Pulser220 chop cafe... And cbr 600rr chop cafe.... And proud of it 😁

I'm about to purchase my first bike! A 1978 Honda CB750 Cafe Racer!!!
ezekielm2010 Good choice. Thanks for sharing your comment, and good luck for your project. Cheers.
Darth Belal
You are right.
Search for "
Cafe Racer (Honda CB 125 - "The Spark" of 50.000 Subscribers)".
Cheers.
Excellent one....
I'll now preserve my 2001 Enfield Bullet.....
Cafe Racer (5 Reasons to have a Cafe Racer bike) Lovely :-)
Inspiring stuff!
What is the name of the end instrumental?
VS51 Loool. well, all i know is that is a British "singer", "Norton" perhaps :)
Cheers! Zip~
Thank you my friend for sharing your perspective. :) Cheers.
heehehehehhe i didn't expect that you'll be little comical too Mr. Racer Tv i love the presentation!!!!!
now i want a cafe racer
Koen Van Paddenburg Thanks for your comment. Cheers and good luck for your future project.
Get one it’s fucking amazing
Neat-o-rific! A cafe racer maybe my first bike but the flavor would surely last!
One day for sure...i'll have one of my dream cafe racer bike.....amen....
May it be so brother...Amen!
Did you do a video with the Green Trident, Red Bonneville and the Red BSA. I would like to know more about those bikes please.
Margaret Dalton Considering this is a informative video about bikes, youtube consider reasonable to use(fair use) a few seconds of other videos. But if you want to know more about these bikes, try the link below. Cheers. ruclips.net/video/uF44aLCnA1Q/видео.html
2:30 that Guzzi custom is amazing!!!
Just awesome videos. They Reality help building your own bike. Perfect combination of humor and knowledge.
Thank you. I'm glad you liked my friend. :) Cheers.
Also I just found a Honda v45 magna for cheap would that be doable
project?
Good luck. Cheers.
Step 1: Buy a new Yamaha SR400
Step 2: put on Clubman bars.
Step 3: Ride it.
orangelion03
I agree with you. The Yamaha SR 400 can be a simple and good solution. Thanks. Cheers.
Thumbs up 👍
Thanks for sharing
Just as always
Your the Best
Peace
Do you have the information on the cafe racer bikes seen in the video? Especially the BMW because Im thinking of purchasing one
JEsse MC I think i can help you about the Bmw. Try to find this: R100T by Sette Nero Motorcycles London. Good luck.
you couldn't be more correct, old bikes made into cafe racers, have a soul like none other.
+Xs Biggy Thank you for your comment. I'm glad you agree. :) Cheers.
RACER TV I have a 79 Xs400f currently undergoing a transformation from cruiser to racer. Would probably die if it was featured in one of your videos once it's done.
Hi again, what is the music you use for the backing track of this video, I really like it. Thanks :)
Thanks. It is based on this original version: "Inspirational Instrumental Music-Dare To Dream". Cheers.
Thank you my friend :)
I’ve been looking for my first bike. You made me decide on a ‘81 CM 400 custom.
Is that a Ducati monster on the cover? & what tank is used? 😊
Yes, it is. I think it is a "mojave fuel tank". Try to search on google for "mojave fuel tank". Cheers.
😂😂😂In our home,my husband doesn't have this problem.
We love bike.
We love cafe races.
Your husband is a very lucky men. :) Thank you Dear for sharing your perspective. Cheers.
The best motorcycle that I've owned was a 1979 Yamaha XS1100 Special. All that I changed were the handlebars to super-sport bars. I'm desperately looking for another.
Bryan Hascall I'm sure with time you will find something on the web. Good luck and thanks for sharing your comment. Cheers.
Would a 2007 Triumph Thruxton 900 too much for a beginner?
Maybe is a too big motorcycle for a beginner.
Thank you for your reply. It’s just such a beautiful bike. That bike is the reason I want to start riding motorcycles.
seems like most cafe racers are for one rider only. Do they make a two seater to keep the peace?
Martin Knoll Well, you can always make a cafe racer bike with 2 different seats, 1 Seat for just the rider, and other seat to accommodate 2 persons.Another solution is choosing a different style for your bike, like a Tracker or a Street Tracker style or even a Scrambler. These are not exactly cafe racers, but they are also very interesting styles for a bike. Good Luck for you future project.
Yamaha Virago XV750 Cafe will be my first build.
What is the name of the background music? Thanks in advance!
salchih Inspirational Instrumental Music - Dare To Dream. Enjoy it.
Where can I get the old Cafe racers
One question: a Harley Davidson Street 750 will be a good choice for a cafe racer project?
Kumbanigash To be honest, it is a really difficult job converting into a Cafe Racer. The big radiator and the angle of the front suspension, are a big handicap for any cafe racer project. I hope this helps. Cheers.
Thank you very much! It`s was a good help, no doubt.
You ride a motorcycle, you drive a car.A car moves your body a bike moves your soul
Nah... We don want a Cafe Racer.
We want da BEER RACER :D
Davy Camb Loool.
Davy Camb a cooooooooooooold one lol
I like this mature english gentlemans voice tracks .
william harvey Thanks you for sharing your opinion.
awesome video :) Oh and i was thinking to put gs500 engine n brakes to my hyosung if i can get my hands to one that is wrecked or something :) lower it, make a small n sharp tail hump n stuff.....hard to explain but i have a picture in my head....
timo vähäkuopus Thanks Timo. A gs500 engine in your machine. Sounds good, but i think is harder than you can expect. Careful with the electrics. About the smaller tail, try to draw it in a picture, and wait to see if time factor says anything. Good luck.
I made the cafe racer rear seat cowl on my Ducati Cafe Racer. See my videos.
yeah....theres some people in england who have made that engine swap....what i have heard its pain in the ass but if i found a wrecked one that has elecrics all good it should not be so hard... ihave swapped engines to small bikes and one time putted 125cc 4-stroke to minimoto whit my friend :D after having too many crashes we made it to 3-wheeler......aaaand we made child ATV 125cc too :D :D it was too dangerous so we dismanteled it....it popped a wheelie in every gear and was too unstable in fast speeds....too bad we didnt have video camera :/ well we had but REALLY bad so......Oh i miss those days when we cud make whatever we wanted.....but now i live in city and this sucks....one day i will have my own garage....one day.... :3
and also im terrible at drawing XD but i will try, thnx :)
I'm sure that you are not terrible in drawing. You just are not a professional. Lol
Good luck. Cheers.
what song is this?
im trying to figure it out
same thing with classic cars. espaccially the mixture of gas and oil xd
Just like my Vintage Vw's.
Interesting video! Looking forward to more coming!
It can only be a Norton. Maybe the Dominator model. Cheers.
Great video! Is the outro song the same one (Dare to Dream) or is it another song?
Thanks!
teeboytel Sorry, but i didn't understood your question. "Is the outro song the same one" ???
I love cafe racers - btw - love the background music - what is it please?
remofibr Thanks for sharing your comment. The name of the song is: Inspirational Instrumental Music - Dare To Dream . Cheers.
I am now struggling in getting bike (cafe racer ofcourse) as i already have a mode of transportation which is a 4 wheel car. I worry i will regret by spending that money and end up didnt worth it. do you have any advise on this? haha
BTW i really liked your videos!! is cool and inspiring
and basically i am just wondering it is really as riding on a bike is much more fun then driving cars?!
+bodyshampooLotion Thank you.
+bodyshampooLotion Yes it is. You won't regret. Riding a motorcycle is much more exciting than a car. The experience is much more richer and intense. And if you choose an old bike, the riding experience will be even greater. :) Cheers.
bodyshampooLotion in my country bikes are cheaper
Thank you to make available subtitles in Portuguese.
Doug Evans Good idea. Thanks for sharing your comment.
Nice video, I hope to own one some day, what is the name of the outro song?
Greetings
+Daniel Díaz Thank you. this song is based in this original version: "Inspirational Instrumental Music-Dare To Dream " . Cheers.
6 reason you feeling creator 7 reason girls magnet 8 reason you never see same motorcycle exactly like yours..
:) Good points. Cheers.
Cheers!!!
can someone kindly explain which i know is subjective but, is that really riding on bike is more fun than driving cars? (sorry for my broken english)
+bodyshampooLotion As i said in other comment, yes it is very fun. I recommend you to watch on of my videos. Search on youtube for "Cafe Racer (Why motorcycles make people feel free?)". I'm sure you will understand the feeling of riding a bike. Cheers.
+bodyshampooLotion Interesting question. I would describe being on a bike closer to sitting on a rocket compared to be strapped inside a car.
what bike is the one that is chrome that the girl was starting or better yet the gas tank on it ? any one ?
I am almost sure that it is a Norton, and the fuel tank, is a replica of the Norton Manx. Cheers
One of the best videos!!!
Obrigado amigo pelo simpático comentário. :) Um abraço.
.. lol.... its a good vid.. but i wouldn't be making so much money if my clients didn't buy more vintage bikes... always breaking down and the best part is when i tell them things have to be made or parts are not available so they become very expensive,,, also the expectation that their old bike runs like a brand new gsxr. you bought a 40 yr old bike. corrodded, broken wires, barely something ridable. and it will take thousands, if not the same cost of a brand new bike, to make it look bad ass like a magazine bike. powder coated frame, rebuilt engine, new carbs, new bearings, new tires, tons into refinishing work, paint, not to mention all the custom parts.... then you'll have a bad ass setup..... like the image of the ducati s2r in the beginning, that's a 5k bike for starters, add the custom alum tank and tail section lookin at at least 3k without labor... and we haven't even gone through the maintenance of the bike yet...end
Cheers.
Just bought my 1975 Honda CB-550 Cafe Racer 😍
Congratulations. Good luck for your project. :) Cheers.
@@RACER_TV thank you! I appreciate that.
Music ? both in the whole video and the one at the end ?
CircleStudio It is based on the original verson of this song: Inspirational Instrumental Music-Dare To Dream. In the end of this video, well, all i know is that is a British "singer", "Norton" perhaps :) Enjoy it.
RACER TV Thanks for that and very nice video. One day, i buy a RE bullet classic, it's my dream to own a piece of history :)
Cacey
Thank you for your comment. I wish the best luck for your dream. It will worth it. Cheers.
Great video I'm working on my 77 yamaha triple......750cc.
William Algarin Thank you. Excellent choice with your Yamaha. 3 cylinders always sounds like a 6 cylinders. Good luck with your project.
Anyone know where i can get that wallpaper 5:36 ??
