- In this video, I'll be playing the 13th chapter of the Single-Handedly Fighting all of Valandia - Mount & Blade 2: Bannerlord. In this chapter, I'll be fighting my way through the city of Valandia, and hopefully completing the game on the hardest difficulty setting!

It's always hilarious when Apollo doesn't realize he's fighting the enemy faction leader, which helps explain why the army is so elite. A shame he didn't realize it earlier so he could have dropped the King off into the nearest castle dungeon.

Haha i love how he was sieging that valandian castle when they wanted peace and he was like no no peace, and then he saw that army of a 1000 and was like yeah you want peace you can have peace 😂
Total game changer for many of you that don't know-You can construct frontline siege equipment and then put it in reserve so their catapults can't destroy it.once you have multiple trebuchets,onagers,and or ballistas you can put them all in at once to hammer defenses or just to start the siege with a full battery.
If you put the shield away and press X when you have the swords equipped, this sword will go as two handed. If you look at the stats it says "one handed" and "two handed".
Pro tip: save on influence by making a companion a party leader, so you can summon them for 0 influence cost, letting you save your influence for other parties. Your companion party will also generate income from selling loot. You can get up to 3 more clan parties with each having 120-150 troops, meaning an additional 360-450 troops added to your army for a grand total of 0 influence.

@armyaj so if you go to the clan tab, go create a party, select one of your companions. This will create another party under your clan that you can call to join your army for 0 influence. It costs 0 influence for cohesion as well to keep your companions warband in your army

Everytime he levels his troops to menvalions rather than towards legionaries i feel physical pain😂
Menavliatons are better in the full release. Legionaries are only good for the shield wall but menavliatons do better against foot troops and cav in combat now! :)

I hope the ppl at Mount Blade II are appreciative. This has been a good series.
i'm sure they are, without content creators they would have a little more difficult time making the game more enjoyable for us with future updates, i personally hope that in a future update there would be assassination attempts on lords and rulers or have spies that can sabotage the enemy kingdoms

These games let me have the toy soldiers and battles I wanted as a kid.
Apollo whenever you get the chance to recruit your troops that you like. Try getting the noble line of the kuzaits 50 of the tier 6 horse archers can kill armies of 300 to 400 by themselves if used properly. And not take a lot of casualties.

If you place your infantry in square formation, they can take calvary charges much better versus line. Square formation also has the infantry protecting their flanks with their shield, whereas shield wall does great coverage but only while facing the enemy.
Good advice! Thicker formation bogs down enemy cav charges instead of going through getting in your rear
@FLETCHER40000 exactly otherwise they start cycling their charges. Got to get into square formation like the Swiss did to the Holy Roman Empire, or the Frank's versus the Moors.
Really enjoying the series, the adventures of Biggus are so great
Also i love it when he gives epic speaches to his men with epic music playing in the the bg, especailly when defending a castle/city

Man I love your banner lord videos. Easily my favorite. You get in character and still treat it like a game. Most take it too seriously for my tastes. I don’t know how Apollo doesn’t want to reload a save every time he dies when I lose all my progress I just have the huge urge to reload and do it again because I hate that I lost all progress

Why do you charge your calvary from behind your infantry? Half of them end up stopping trying to pathfinder through the infantry breaking up your charge before it begins. In the same battle, you congratulated the other army for flanking your archers with Calvary but you always charge straight on. What is your thoughts on this?

Defenders have a major advantage in auto resolve sieges, always better to play them out if you are attacking a castle/town

It's sometimes so frustrating when Apollo's memory loss kicks in, like when he removes Baichar's bow and arrows, yet he had placed him with so musch enthusiaism (a few episodes back) as the leader of the archers and bought him a bow and all. But it's quite funny too

Valandia is always a pain in the ass.. and remember Apollo, in siege auto resolve the favor is 2 to 1 for defenders. So auto resolve for defense and attack for offense.

when you're attacked and see friendly armies around the attackers camp sally out and they will help you, dont just wait for them to attack on their own

you need to improve relations with the other lords in order to get more votes when they are voting for cities and castles
I love Apollos videos but darn they can be frustrating. He moves his cav infront of enemy archers and just let's them get destroyed then after the battle complains about how many troops died lol
You can't actually die in a battle, you can only die of old age. But the others lords /companions can die on the battlefield

Apollo the one-handed sword you got can also be used two-handed
U should be leaving your infantry in shield wall. Then also when countering cav with cav, use charge before they collide and your troops will get WAY more kills and way less casualties. Set your archers to engage and charge your horse archers so they circle.

At the end of the vid at the corner where they were climbing the ladders, if your attacking you can hop on the rock and into the castle. Just for future reference.

That was some tactics that you said was tedious but you had a very mixed army that dominated. Next if you could use teir 1 infantry to take the first hit or wave and preserve elites if you can gor minimal casualties

yup this is bannerlord these days, constant battles, youll take a castle and itll get taken right back, youll take a city itll rebel. really hard justifying progress but its alot of fun.

Big D always rises to the occasion.
I think that Camels, in general, have a higher top speed than horses, perhaps horse can run faster at the start but a camel should in general outpace that.

Apollo u changed ur sword to the new sword but that’s a bastard weapon meaning u can still use it as a two handed weapon if you un equip ur shield while fighting. It switches back and forth just unequip ur shield and re a quiet when u need protection while in battle.

you made mistake in intro bigus is not greatest in all of calaradia Elongus was and always be.really good video keep grinding and ihope you reach 1m subs really soon.
If you need to speed cap a city castle then just build artillery and manually use it to shoot at their artillery in battle. Set your troops to wait in the back and bring up only the archers.
