My son just got interested in BMX. So I'm starting to make a pump track in our yard. But I just wanted to say I laughed when you mentioned the private property signage. Because as a kid, I would go into a large wooded area in my hometown to play paintball with my friends. And we walked down someone's driveway to get to our spot. Looking back on it, I now realize that must have been someone's property 😅

Hahaha I have almost identical stories. I miss the paintball in the woods with my friends days. But pumptracks are fun as shit. Hope yours turns out well and you guys have a blast. Thanks for watching

Great video. Thanks for pushing the inspiration, and the berm info. When the rain let's up I'm getting the shovels out.

I’m also starting my pump track this spring, waiting for this breakup period to end as I’m located in central Wisconsin. Hard part is over as I already convinced the wife! Mostly plan to use this with our Onewheels this summer but my 10yr old and 6yr old mountain bike as well.
Great video, definitely helps a lot getting others take in their experience!

I am planning a backyard pumptrack and i have that book in my amazon cart. Does it cover how to convince your wife to get on board with the pump track? So far its a hard no

Not specifically but it does talk about how to make it look really appealing which could help. But that gives me an idea for a future video lol.

Wacker packer will literally change your life ❤ the small amount of gas it takes will literally out weigh the overall benefits. Trust me your pump track will be so much faster and you won't get it ever going back soft.
Ps if the back of your shovels aren't paintless you haven't slap packed enough ❤
Last tip make a 4x4ft square with 2x4s and use chicken grate ontop and nail it all down and clip the edges. Place ontop of wheel barrow and you have no more rocks! 😊
