We need YOUR help!! Head over to www.wasatchtrails.org to support our local trail group and help make more stuff like this possible! It takes a community to make trails awesome!
I love the message, Get out there and make it happen! We had nothing locally to ride but the community rallied around making a memorial park for my brother who was killed in Afghanistan and now we have about 18 miles of trails at Griffin Bike Park. It is awesome to see the kids volunteering!
So inspiring! The whole family is going on a trip to a bike park tomorrow. Looking forward to riding the pump track! Thanks, Eric! And thanks to the kids too!
My kids love going to the pump track. It's definitely their favorite thing to do on a bike. Those local groms are shredders you have a pretty nice scene out there. 👍
awesome work ethic from the kids and way to shred right way guys. some locals here have been working with the state and we've finally got some trails at one of our state parks. it's lots of work but worth it. great video
Man, that dirt looked TASTEY to work with! Don't have much of that here in Phoenix, haha. And great video per usual, the time lapses are so satisfying to watch. I'll have to check this out when we come up there in July!
Wow this is awesome and super inspiring. I think I’m going to talk with my mtb club and local trail association to see if we could rebuild our pump track. Before now I’ve always accepted it as being a mediocre pump track that is pretty fun but not super flow. Now maybe we could revamp the whole thing to make it way more fun and rideable!
Same question here: I have no experience in building, but I could use a piece of flat land and maybe some small caterpillar to move dirt and I'd love to start building something small for the kids and the community. Something to read, some project, some standards for the berm radius or for the bumps height and length?
If you're having trouble where you are out of focus in a shot, you can turn up the aperture on your camera and then everything will be in focus. Not sure the exact number, but f7-8 should get you there.
Yeah I should do that, I usually only have trouble when I’m moving real fast and don’t have anyone to help me shoot, super frustrating though, that’s for sure! I use a Panasonic G85 and it’s autofocus jumps around sometimes, that’s the main weakness with that camera.
I think that it would be awesome if u guys could come build something near holiday Slc. Me and my friends aren’t old enough to drive yet and the nearest bike park is an hour ride. Me and my friends would be able to help move dirt if needed. I think what you guys are doing is great and I’ll try to support your foundation when ever I can.
I'm actually not sure, I think we got it at Tractor Supply or somewhere like that. It's not the best system but it's better than nothing, just gravity fed for getting water out of it currently.
I live in Utah and want to get some dirt trails/pump track in my city. How do I contact Apex and get started? Definitely want to get up to Midway to try that track with my kids. Thank you! Love the channel!
I moved from the Salt Lake valley to Midway at the end of last season. I would love to help with any trail work around here! I am healing up from ACL surgery, and I'm not cleared to get back on my bike yet, but I can certainly move some dirt and work some hand tools. I signed up as a member at wasatchtrails.org. Let me know what the next project is and I'm there!
This is Park City, right? We are headed there late July for a couple weeks. We'll probably hit this pump track early on as my girlfriend is moving from Abject Beginner to somewhat experienced Beginner. Thanks for the hard work. The MTB scene there is a HUGE reason we are spend all our Vaca money in the Park City area. Any trail recos for a beginner to have fun on (that's not too climby)?

Eric you're always so kind and supportive. Pretty funny hearing you roast someone for a change.
Totally agree with getting out and volunteering in the community. Awesome job my friend.
Owen has so much sass...funny little dude...lol
The dirt looks so much better than the traditional dry stuff. I went to Utah last summer and it was a dust bowl

My kids love going to the pump track. It's definitely their favorite thing to do on a bike.
Those local groms are shredders you have a pretty nice scene out there. 👍

This is the inspiration I need for the summer! What do you recommend to look for if the community has never experienced a pump track before?

Yes new video!!
Great vids from Ireland
Yes getting back to it
What was the tank you are using? I need to transport water to my school's pump track so I can build it. I need a portable watering system like that.
I'm actually not sure, I think we got it at Tractor Supply or somewhere like that. It's not the best system but it's better than nothing, just gravity fed for getting water out of it currently.
Love me some pumptracks!
Yoooo do more off road with your childs 🤗🤗
