Didn’t realize he was so good on offense ranked 4 him off the bat and awakened for defense but will start questing with him those forms are usueful for lots of content
Check out some of my war videos if you want some practical scenarios for him offensively. I also used him for my first path in Necropolis.
Got him 6* r2 undup. Been messing with him. Just doesn't fit my play style unfortunately. I have a few generic awaken but wont use it on him. Have sqautch r3 and hood l2 and i prefer them. Great video on how to use him.

Also basic question. But how do you bait heavy’s?
I understand the concepts now at least. I can’t at least get almost to an sp2, then throw 2 sp1 to get a refined form. Until I get better.

Intercepting with a light should pause, correct?
Intercepting with a light will pause as long as you are actually in a form. Buffs expiring or receiving a debuff he's immune to will also pause. The special you use should match the form you're in. SP1 for Uru, SP2 for Magma. I bait heavies by just holding block!

Ahhhh light intercepts… the one thing I can’t do confidently… I guess I better get to practicing with the 4 star until I can get the 6 star

I’ve got a 6 star R2 Abs Man but I’m struggling with the rotation of him and I keeper getting clapped all the time. I definitely need to do better with him.
The light intercepts absolutely require practice. Remember that his form is paused not only from an immunity triggering, but also when any buff expires. So in ideal matchups (Terrax, Annihilus, Hulkling) you don't necessarily need to worry about the intercepting.

Got him too from 2023 banquet nexus...that light intercept isn't my thing...imma use him for immunity and buff matches mostly for now😅
It takes some practice but isn't totally necessary. Give him a relic, use the striker, and then heavy cancel into a special from the striker stun!
I'm debating my first mystic r4. I've had Doom at r3 for a long time, but haven't bumped him up. Am I crazy considering AM instead?
Definitely not! I would consider ranking a more standard mystic first though. AM is great but he lacks typical mystic mechanics like buff removal and buff prevention.

How he is good with suicides? I can bring to r5 only him from mystic champs
He’s ok with them. You can be immune to the bleed by default and to the poison with a synergy, but you’re gonna be spamming specials to stay refined and in non-ideal fights it will be difficult to get enough morph charges to regen the recoil damage.
Intercepting with light attacks is so hard
For sure - it will definitely take some practice. The good news is that light intercepts are way safer so if the opponent doesn't go for it, you almost always have time to block.

I disagree about him not needing the dupe. But great video
Appreciate it. The more I play him the more I like the dupe and max sig but he is definitely playable and powerful without it.
I've heard you have to intercept with light
His form pauses with light intercepts, but also when he’s immune to anything and when a buff ends on the defender. So you have some options on how to keep the form up

How to do active Abs Man Regen in a fight ?
He needs to be duped for the regen. Then, do a MLM combo with at least 150 morph charges.
@@simula67 thanks he is perfect for AW path Bleed Shock and Biohazard. But I need to active his Regen to survive some fights.
