not mad at the Torrence pick, if the Seahawks end up releasing Shelby Harris to free cap space I can seem them going DL twice.

In all honesty Anthony richardson works much better with the raiders than Levi’s does. His pocket presence is just far superior to Levi’s and this is a scheme where u have to hang in there and take a deep shop and Anthony may not be the most accurate in the short area but he does show far better accuracy and consistency gking deep which with how McDaniels is running this current team is what he wants. Another reason I doubt he will like Levi’s is why would he replace a oline dependent qb who doesn’t do well under pressure with a more reckless version of him in levis? I think josh thinks he can fix ar15s mechanics enough to where he’s at least serviceable in his rookie year ( or his second, because I do believe stidham will be the qb next year with ar15 behind him)

And if your argument that we’d draft Levi’s regardless of if McDaniels is the guy or not I’d have to tell you both the Gm and McDaniels would be fired together since they essentially come as a package. And all reports have told us that our Gm loves ar15. We want the mobility with this next qb. Levis just doesn’t fit their new philosophy

If Seahawks takes a interior o line I hope they trade back at twenty into the mid 20s. The 20 spot is to high for Torrence oh! I’m a coug fan so goooooo!

20 is not to early for torrence. It might be a pick or 2 early, but nothing drastic... you trade back to mid 20s, good chance he gone

I truly believe Jalen Carter will drop hard. And I see this because "If" he ends up going to jail, no team will want to spend their first round pick on someone who may not even play. So that alone might knock him out as a first round pick. But if he doesn't go to jail, then I can see him dropping but staying in the first or early second round. This situation is going to cost him money, one way or another,

Will Anderson I think will fall. He is very small & so far has not tested great at the combine. 4.6 40 & his verticle was not great. Seems not explosive & at that size OFL gets their hands on him he will not get loose. Again I prefer Gonzalez over Witherspoon however I did like your Forbes pick. I have him as my #3 CB.

I understand all your reasoning behind the Levis pick, but I'm not sure you quite get what a "pair" our GM and HC are... they've been friends and worked together extensively since college, and came in very much as a partnership. I can only see the smallest of chances that Ziegler would be retained if McD is let go - they're 2 sides of the same coin... so there is no "you" in "you don't believe he's the answer, or "we", in "we'll bring in a new coach". Mark Davis may pull their plugs at some point, but he won't be involved in the draft, and consequently, "a new future HC" won't be a factor into the plan at #7.
Ziegler said in a recent interview, that they want to make the right choice for a long term QB, but it might not be this year... which could all just be: 1. smoke in the Rodgers trade... 2. smoke on the draft plans... 3. indicate we're after Richardson or Hooker, and they won't play next year... or 4. indicate they're just going lean BPA, see how things fall, and maybe not take a QB if the guy they want (if there is one) is gone.
Neither HC or GM is talking like they're under any sort of time pressure - "make the best decisions for long term success" and all that. Realistically, after last year's draft + season, it's about as likely we overtake the Chiefs in the West, as it is we draft a QB better than Mahomes in this class... so I imagine their bar for "success" is going to be set pretty low! If these guys can put together a solid draft class, including a 1st round pick that most people would describe as "good", and a season that shows improvement, especially on defense... then I can't see them getting at least another year.
