My wife and I saw this unit at the Hershey RV show first thing in the morning on Saturday. It was a prototype. Liked it alot. Looked all day at other manufactures . Kept going back to this one as we were looking. We wanted to narrow down what we were going to buy next year when I retire. We ended up back at it again later in the day and Mike Aplin was there and we got to talk to him. He is a great guy. He took the time to answer all our question and by the time we were done there were 3 or 4 couples sitting in the living room and Mike was answering all our questions. Once my wife realized there was a 1/2 bath as well. That sold it plus the pricing was very aggressive. We ended up ordering one. Took delivery just before Thanksgiving. Very happy with it. Mike's an awesome asset for Jayco.
It’s funny he was telling me how at one point he met some folks that kept coming back all day and then ended up with an audience answering questions. What are the odds you’re the people he’s talking about?
@Viz1111 I will keep up with some updates. I can tell you I have already installed a Mor ryde slide-out tray in the storage bay and am in the process of changing out the Winegard gateway for a teavelfi so my wife can work remotely when we travel. So far very happy.

I am a big fan of Grand Design but this model really made me think about Jayco and how well designed and laid out this model is. They really knocked it out of the park with this one.
One sink in the bathroom is all you need and that would make it possible to have a smaller mirror and medicine cabinets on either side. Bathroom drawers would be nice too. In my 22 36ssws I hate only having one drawer in the bathroom and no medicine cabinet.

Hey Uncle Josh, I hope you're having a great day! I love this 2024 Jayco Pinnacle 38FBRK fifth wheel. I love that they changed up the seating in the living room. I like that they're using all GE appliances in the kitchen! I like that they changed how the washer an dryer go in the front closet. I'm glad that you get a bath an a half in this unit. They put a dishwasher in this unit standard. This is just an amazing awesome fifth wheel!! Thank you Uncle Josh for showing us this unit an giving us all the information good an bad. Very impressive ❤love the wrap around sofa, GE fridge, bottled water supply, well, just about everything. Prefer ONE bathroom sink with "lipitor" cabinets. Definitely not a rig for tons of towing. 120lbs LP!!!❤ Beautiful paint work! Very comfortable living for sure!!❤ Good job Jayco!
Thanks Mike. I have owned a Jayco camper now for 20+ years We are on our 3rd Jayco. We have always had very good service out of all our campers. We are looking forward to the day we can move up to a C or Super C. ❤. We also think Josh does a great service to all the camping brands that he showcases on his videos.
Thanks Mike! This rig is about 94% perfect for us! Our only reasonable criticisms would be the --tripping hazards-- floor vents and the double vanity sink in the master bath. I get why they do floor vents, but come one, that one just inside the front door is probably single digit inches away from the wall. Bare feet, canes, and walkers do not like those things. Love the huge couch, love how vertsatile it can be. We absolutely love the desk AND dining table in the slide - usually when we look at a floorplan, we try to figure out where my desk would go, but with this one I'm thinking the other half can have the existing desk for her embroidery machine while I turn the dining area into a gamer's den. Unrelated, do you think you can do a video on the Reflection 297RSTS trailer, Uncle Josh? I know you've done the 296RSTS, but the floor plans are significantly different. Thanks Uncle Josh, you rock! We appreciate your time and sense of humor in these videos and continue to send positive thoughts Carlos' way in hopes he'll be back to normal soon.
When I left, he was getting pretty spunky again, and kind of wanting to rough house and play tug-of-war with his toys like he always did before. He still has some healing to do so I have not engaged him that way. But I’m really looking forward to getting down on the floor and playing around with him soon.
If we didn’t have the 3 kids with us. This would be our floor plan. But the 37MDQS will have to get us by for now!!! Nice to see you at the Indy Show. Good luck this year.
The feedback I get from consumers is overwhelmingly sides AGAINST dual sinks But rv makers keep doing them because.. I dunno.. they see each other doing it? Best guess I got
Hey Josh, another great video. As I was watching the video, I was thinking, I see a lot of Brinkley in this video. Nothing wrong with that, but it shows me, in my opinion, that Brinkley is leading a charge that everyone is trying to follow.
The Brinkley Kool-aid is going to lead people to a bad end. This is a high-profile luxury 5th wheel that has MANY more features than the MID profile Brinkley. It isn't even close. Yet some people are paying the same money for a Brinkley that they could use to buy high-pro like this Pinnacle instead. I wouldn't want to be those people when they try to trade out of it, but they have a drawer for their paper towels, so maybe it will all be worth it. ;)
I thought that table was a waste but since it stores part of that beautiful corner sofa, I am willing to live it. Wish they would have ONE sink bathroom. Love the size of the bathroom. Please have that nice Jayco wall mounted clock face the kitchen/livingroom to idetify those "cocktail" or "get off the Arrrrs and do something" time of the day.
All that empty space above the fire place and the still put the TV on the ceiling! I like the fresh water system, nice job. Just give me one big sink in the bath and savce on the extra cost of having 2. The closet is well done. Pass through storage appears to have a rubber type floor covering, they need to apply the same to the side walls in that area. Overall very nicely done.
It might seem like a small thing, but that pull-out cutting board with the trash can right underneath of it for scooping stuff off into it is fricken ingenious. Simple, EXCELLENT engineering. The tv is a neck-wrecker, even if it slants down. Get rid of the shelf, move tv down, put sound bar above tv.
It really is dialed in nicely. I don't think Jayco has received quite enough credit for continuing to push forward and remain current in a challenging market admist some really good competition
@@JoshtheRVNerd we still love the Jayco “flat deck 5th wheel” that you reviewed a few years ago. I can’t remember the model, other than it was not a 5th wheel, but was designed like one. Not anything since then has even come close.
I'm buying Lotto Max tickets in Canada so that I can set up a "guest suite" for my daughter & her husband in my back yard. This unit is darn near perfect for their needs. ❤
Mike, PLEASE make a park model that's pet and grandkid friendly...NO floor heat registers for toes and nails to get caught in. Park model with residential code plumbing.
Love all your videos. You are genuinely excited at new things, full of knowledgeable, real word insights, solid respectful opinions and considerations in all your videos. You are 'Josh doing Josh things.' "Don't go changin' to please me." 👍👍👍
We had a Jayco lot nearby, and now there's huge banner saying "Camping World" and an arrow pointing down the highway. I suppose that place will have this to go see it. At least I hope so. One odd thing to me is the placement of the power pole. Seems to me it would have been better to have that on the desk corner rather than where it is, but it's just a quibble. Maybe they were trying to split the difference between the two desks (?). Most times I'm reluctant to say the prices for some of the rigs is right for what you're getting, but this one seems pretty well equipped and layed out for the prices they are asking.
Hello Josh. We are from Canada and can’t get enough of your videos. You are a hoot. The question I have doesn’t relate to this camper but I have a question about another. I was watching a video and I can’t seem to find it again and I am hoping you can help. All I remember was what seemed to be dinette and couch furniture that changed positions. It was grey in color and I think it was a fabric not leatherette or vinyl. Thank you. I hope you can remember
Josh, I have been waiting for you to do this pinnacle. We were at the Hershey show and actually ordered one there because of the great price. You do an amazing job with your videos and if I didn’t buy one from the show we would have come to you for one. Keep up the amazing job you do!
Wow, that Pinnacle is very nice, I wish I could come and pick it up tomorrow Jayco has outdone themselves on this one I think that I will have to talk to my rich Father, but that sucker would look good behind my white dually.
This is gorgeous - I could totally live in it! If I'm nitpicky, the lack of anything even resembling a nightstand bothers me. It also looks like the L-shaped couch doesn't level out correctly due to part of it being on the slide (and part of it not). I'd personally be fine with just one bathroom sink (and more counterspace).
Bedside night stands in bed slides are a challenge. They're not impossible but require the entire RV to be extended. Even a small 6" night stands adds a solid foot to the RV. On a rig like this every foot probably translates to a hard $1,800 or more which.. makes for expensive night stands. That's why they're so rare.
Oh hey Josh, great video of this pinnacle. I have to say I spotted something very interesting as I was watching it. While you were in the pass-through storage on the exterior there was a very dark gray are black camper to the left of this one that looked a lot like my 199MBS… But way cooler looking! I’m intrigued, and I hope there is an upcoming video of that one. I really enjoy all of your videos, and look forward to coming home every night from work and seeing what’s new.
That was kind of a test concept Jay Feather Micro 199MBS that flirted with a few off-road ideas. They never really pursued the concept. That RV has since been repurposed as their marketing team's basecamp for events
I love most everything that’s included here. After doing some research, I realize I like the layout of the 38FLGS since it still includes everything just the living room and kitchen did a “Missy Elliot” (Flip flop it & reverse it.) That way the kitchen won’t be bouncing all over like an rv trying to twerk. The floor vents are a minor annoyance. I can swap them out with pop up Floor vents if I have to. This is a perfect rv for camp hosting for sure.
I was going to ask if shocks would help with the bounce in the rear end . I am with the crowd a third axel is probably a better idea. Otherwise love this model it kinda checks all those boxes
This rv looks really nice, but I like the looks of the couch but not the functionality. With no cup holdersI would spill my drink down the floor vent. I don't think 2 people could comfortably sit at the recliners to watch TV. I really like the interior colors and kitchen layout. I liked hearing from the product manager also. Like always, thanks for a great review.
You can tell they listen, touches like the cutting board, which is great extra counter space if you need it. That sofa is great, so flexible. In the curved corner, does it all go flush with the wall? It's just that my son has one in the house, and you won't believe the amount of crap that ends up down there, which can be difficult to retrieve? Its nice that there's a fancy microwave. Love the bathroom but if want just the one sink in there, I prefer the counter space. I'm not sure I'd want the mega mirror, it's a nice flattering one I'd prefer, a bit like snow whites 😂. The size of this rig, with the amount of storage, is impressive. I've never used a foot flush toilet, but I think it's a fabulous idea, from a hygienic point of view.
Kudo's to Mike! He actually said 'Mac'n cheese and spaghetti...' like a real normal person instead of trying to sound important with 'pasta'. This is a guy I can trust. On a side note, his impression of a nail/staple gun is spot on. I believe his impact gun ugga-dugga impression would be equally impressive :)
Great unit thx for sharing, you mentioned folks said, " you talk too much" well Josh that's why I watch. Unfortunately the typical sales pitch with hands out front IMO predictable typical pitch turned me away. I only watched till the other gentleman started his pitch.
I like your video length, the wife gives up a bit earlier in the video than me, she wants to see floorplans and general design, I want to see gadgets and hear specs, so the video format is good, she can pay attention for the first 5 minutes or so, see what she wants to see, then tune out while I watch the rest.
love this camper ! I'm a Jayco fan . Had two Jayco before and will buy another one soon. The only thing that I would not like is the couch back rest are way too low to rest your head. Besides that this camper is a beauty 🙂
Just out of curiousity did anyone notice the seat beside the recliner was way out of level. so much it was very noticeable. someone should have caught that before the video was made. other than that , love this unit and i have always loved Jayco.
I absolutely love the L-shaped lounge in place of a hide-a-bed or theatre seats (which seem to be in nearly every RV these days but are my least favorite option). I wish more RVs came equipped with them. If you have children, grandchildren or pets that don’t require a dedicated bunk space, this is the only way to go, imo. When my spouse and I camp we always bring our 3 dogs with us. We have found the additional real estate that the lounge provides to be a game changer. I don’t see us ever owning another TT without one. Another thing I really wish the RV industry would do is get rid of the floor vents. Unless you camp in Walmart parking lots or in stay in places where everything is paved over 😢, dirt, sand and mud are necessary and happily expected parts of the experience, making floor vents a poor design choice, at best.
I really love this floor plan, it’s a beautiful “residential” style rv, I live in Florida 7 months out of the year and this would be perfection sitting on my lot! Checks a lot of boxes ✅ for me…We saw this in person at the Tampa RV show, did they change the wall where the tv is? I really like the white shiplap, I think it was brown before and very plain and ugly
I always love the living room, kitchen, and bathrooms. I hate the bedrooms in every R.V. they always make it, so you have to squeeze in, so making the bed is always going to be a pain. I have always wanted one but I would love to have a bigger space for the bedroom.
I used to really love bed slides but weirdly as I've gained more experience I kind of personally prefer a north/south bed for the extra walk around space and better side stands
I gotta say, I went from 'I need a Keystone 26RBPR' 4 years ago to currently 'Looks like I'm getting a Wildwood 171RBXL this summer', I can't even imagine trying to decide on a 5th wheel. It makes my brain hurt lol! A perfect 5th wheel would be the kitchen of this 38FBRK with the upfront seating of the North Point 382FLRB. The center kitchen of the NP382 is a bit of a bummer compared to the Pinnacle. This thing is the cats meow!
One suggestion. Spices should not be stored near heat or excess humidity. Change that spice drawer to utensils or knives. Put a spice shelf/rack in the pantry or on a door.
6:05am and iam reading the specs and I'm thinking it's not possible to either a 119 nor a 215 foot awning!!!😂😂😂 is there a shortage of dash marks available Uncle Josh???
Wish the shower was in the other bathroom but I guess you also wouldn’t really have anyone else staying with you in that floor plan so I can also see why they probably did it that way.
Stupid question, why do they leave the bed board raw wood, instead of Atleast paint it etc. For such a fine RV as this, the raw wood is a downer to me, mabe its just me,any comment from any one on this???
I think it’s a fair question. I cannot speak on Jayco’s behalf, but if I had to guess… They do this because it is not generally visible, but that’s only a theory.
I must have missed this one before! Your tours aren’t too long for me. I can tell in the first 2 minutes if I’m interested. Other tour miss things you always show and it frustrates me. Also, I have become 275% more afraid of gas station murder hobos since I started watching your channel. Probably a coincidence.

This!!!. No one needs 2 sinks in an RV bathroom. But counter space is at a premium.

That way the kitchen won’t be bouncing all over like an rv trying to twerk. The floor vents are a minor annoyance. I can swap them out with pop up Floor vents if I have to. This is a perfect rv for camp hosting for sure.
I totally agree!
Beautiful! One ton definitely!
Bug YES on the electric water heater. Sucks to drain propane constantly on a tankless
Tankless doesn’t really burn constantly when not in use. Just a little pilot light
That’s not nothing but it’s not a lot thankfully
I was going to ask if shocks would help with the bounce in the rear end . I am with the crowd a third axel is probably a better idea. Otherwise love this model it kinda checks all those boxes
👍🏻
This rv looks really nice, but I like the looks of the couch but not the functionality. With no cup holdersI would spill my drink down the floor vent. I don't think 2 people could comfortably sit at the recliners to watch TV. I really like the interior colors and kitchen layout. I liked hearing from the product manager also. Like always, thanks for a great review.
I love the desk, just need to reverse the table & desk
Mikes attention to detail on these has been awesome
Kudo's to Mike! He actually said 'Mac'n cheese and spaghetti...' like a real normal person instead of trying to sound important with 'pasta'. This is a guy I can trust.
On a side note, his impression of a nail/staple gun is spot on. I believe his impact gun ugga-dugga impression would be equally impressive :)
That's kinda what I like about Mike. He's just... I dunno.. "a real dude" for lack of a better way to say it lol
I really appreciate this. Ty
Awesome looking set up
Thanks 👍
Holy Crap on A Cracker!!! Josh, this one is big, bad and Beautiful! Thank you Josh!
I believe that’s the correct response. Lol.
love this camper ! I'm a Jayco fan . Had two Jayco before and will buy another one soon. The only thing that I would not like is the couch back rest are way too low to rest your head.
Besides that this camper is a beauty 🙂
I’ll have to sit in one for a little bit and check that out.
It is beautiful and I do prefer the half-bath on this one and the desk! So beautiful but I'll need to win the lottery or rob a bank first 😉
lol hopefully lottery and not the bank
Just out of curiousity did anyone notice the seat beside the recliner was way out of level. so much it was very noticeable. someone should have caught that before the video was made. other than that , love this unit and i have always loved Jayco.
The best layout! ❤❤❤
☺
Beautiful rv, my only Critique whould be no toyhauler
I am a big fan of the L sofas too
They have this model at the Denver RV show this weekend.
You'll have to let me know what you think of it when you see it
I loved all the GE appliances. The recliner is a little wonky to deploy and short at the head and feet.
One of my favorite extended uses rvs
I always love the living room, kitchen, and bathrooms. I hate the bedrooms in every R.V. they always make it, so you have to squeeze in, so making the bed is always going to be a pain. I have always wanted one but I would love to have a bigger space for the bedroom.
I used to really love bed slides but weirdly as I've gained more experience I kind of personally prefer a north/south bed for the extra walk around space and better side stands
Was that jayco travel trailer out the bedroom window a new model? I like the graphics on it 👀
I recorded a handful that day, so I’m not sure which one you’re referencing, but I got videos on all of them coming eventually
It's a pretty amazing specimen for sure
One suggestion. Spices should not be stored near heat or excess humidity. Change that spice drawer to utensils or knives. Put a spice shelf/rack in the pantry or on a door.
Ooh.. good intel. TY
You can probably tell I'm not a cook. I was not aware
Yes Airfyer
Love it!!
Glad you like it!
You know I’m going to ask Mike this.
Build a 32FBTS Without a half bath.
👍🏻
Thk U josch
My pleasure Roger
We didn't get the rear kitchen, but we DID get the awesome paint job! On our 24 36KPTS! 🤩
Which color plug did you choose?
@JoshtheRVNerd the Diamond Paint. Like the one in this video! It's gorgeous! Had our inspection done last week, pick it up this Monday! Very excited!
The shades need to go up instead down. More privacy that way.
Beautiful rig
Glad you like it!
Very nice however they do not feature two recliners facing the TV
The two seats directly in front of the TV do recline as I recall. Perhaps I’m remembering incorrectly?
good video Josh
Glad you enjoyed it
6:05am and iam reading the specs and I'm thinking it's not possible to either a 119 nor a 215 foot awning!!!😂😂😂 is there a shortage of dash marks available Uncle Josh???
oh.. likely I botched some formatting lol
Will you please send this to my house?!! 🤩🥳
sure thing. Check is in the mail, right? :)
❤❤❤ very nice camper
It really is!
Would flip flopping the desk and table make sense?
When the slide closes that may be problematic.. unsure
Josh for some reason your links to pricing hasn’t been working
The short codes I was using just suddenly died. I’m going to have to scan thru and fix those. Ty
Can I tow this with my F150? Asking for a ”Florida Man” 😂😂👍
😆
Does this camper have all hard wood cabinets Josh??
Yes, it does
@@JoshtheRVNerd thx
Josh- how do we contact you about sales questions? Thanks!
I’m afraid I’m not available for direct consultation. Our local teams can certainly assist you thankfully! Https://www.bishs.com/contact-us
Ok one more thing the dresser in the master has room on the side for more cabinets why not fill it?
Good question
Wish the shower was in the other bathroom but I guess you also wouldn’t really have anyone else staying with you in that floor plan so I can also see why they probably did it that way.
👍🏻
I would like this but with more room for the crib n kids.
Maybe the 37MDQS for you then
#NerdHerd 🎉 😊 🎉
Very nice.
1/2 ton towable? 🤪
I know a guy with a Tundra that would say he could do it. I'm not even joking. The guy terrifies me
LOL @@JoshtheRVNerd
How much is it?
Pricing at www.bishs.com/rv-search?stocknumber=38fbrk
Stupid question, why do they leave the bed board raw wood, instead of Atleast paint it etc. For such a fine RV as this, the raw wood is a downer to me, mabe its just me,any comment from any one on this???
I think it’s a fair question. I cannot speak on Jayco’s behalf, but if I had to guess… They do this because it is not generally visible, but that’s only a theory.
🎉#NerdHerd...
Hahahaha
No drawers in the matter bath either😢
Oh wow I didn’t notice.. good catch
nice
Thanks
@@JoshtheRVNerd youre welcome
99% perfect👍I’m just not a fan of floor vents🫤and cheap Dollar Store 4” fart fans belong in $20,000 RVs not $150,000 RVs😩
Spice Rack drawer Above Microwave.
👍🏻
Everyone is dumping the sterile all white interiors. Looks like Jayco didn’t get the memo.
