Great tutorial how to created this part. I been using Inventor every day since FREE version 4.5 thru 7 and now 2023. I always look for faster way to created model and assembly and smart way to keep all part / assembly yo connect to master skeleton. Your instruction is treated but when it come to work you need to speed up to meet time line and budget.
If I have this drawing in PDF and need to created 3D model I would do different.
    1. Take the PDF and convert to CAD. Using PDF Import in 2D Cad and make sure all view scale to the drawing. Save the 2D CAD file.
    2. Open Inventor start new (.ipt) file and (IMPORT) the 2D CAD from step 1. from here you can created new sketch on each view of the 2D CAD and use (Project DWG Geometry) to project the 2D CAD file line on your Inventor sketch.
Hope you know what to do from here.
Good video to watch and great audio to listen. Thanks
