- In this Ableton tip, we will be looking at an easy way to get more out of your audio effects by building a multiband effects rack from scratch. This is a great way to combine effects and get rich layered sounds.

Thank you for the great video! As always straight to the point! I’ve noticed that if you distort the sound after the frequency splitter (no effects on it except the EQ3s) it gets phasy artifacts, which can sound pretty cool, the main thing is to not forget to mono out if you’re doing it on a bass sound. Changing the filter slopes seems to not change much with it. Just a little thing I’ve found

2:01 how did you make it make a sound when you turned off the audio affect rack?
Is there a way to create a multiband effects rack _but_ using effects that are on the return tracks?
